our first time here was very impressive! we each got a cocktail suggested by our server, the gin's up and the strawberry smash. they were both delicious! we also shared apizza(it was big enough to split), the latin firepizzawas amazing! overall, great food and service! a little pricey, but definately worth it!

here's another example of a restaurant that is not exactly geared for kids, but you can still make it work. they do have a kid's menu; you just have to ask for it.  then, the server will tell you what you can eat - things likepizzaand pasta and mac and cheese. i suggest you order a side of meatballs if you order the kid's pasta. your kid might be hungry otherwise.

tucked away at the corner of lebanon and the tollway, this is a great restaurant with a decent selection of wine. try thepizzabut get pepperoni and meatball. i'm a sucker for their grilled flatbreads. my wife would tell you get the ahi tuna salad.
good atmosphere. give it a run.

not good!!!. i'm not sure how this place has so many glowing reviews. i went here with my husband on a saturday evening and was totally unimpressed by everything. our first impression was that there are way too many tables for the space. we were crammed in there like sardines. secondly it is too dark. not in a romantic way, more like a dungeon. then there is the loud factor. there was really bad 80's music playing too loud where it was hard to have a conversation. i was expecting this to be a good date spot after reading reviews. not my idea of a romantic restaurant at all. now onto the food and drinks. the sangria was bad. the crab dip was not good. the latin firepizzawas bizarre. at first i thought it was interesting but the red sauce was weird to me and i couldn't get over the fact that the crust was a soggy mess. my husband got some kind of pasta and it was dry and bland. total waste of money!

we’ve eaten at trufire many times and never once been disappointed in the food. everything from their appetizers to dessert is excellent. trufire describes their cuisine as american in concept, but including italian, mediterranean, and global influences. we tend to zero in on the italian, but there are definitely other gastro-regions represented that deliver an interesting variety of flavors. whether you’re in the mood for mediterranean style cuisine, pasta, pizzaor a steak, they’ve got you covered.

great food and service. i've dined at this place half a dozen times and it never gets old. the philly bruschetta alone is worth the drive up from plano. the latin firepizzais my favorite thing so far, but i have a lot of the menu left to cover. terrific service, reasonable prices for this level of quality. i definitely recommend it!

excellent meal. we have now been to trufire on 3 seperate occasions and had a wonderful experience each time. thepizzais excellent on their home made thin crusts and the turkey burger is very tasty. the fig salad and the sweet potato fries are my favorite side items. their drinks are good but a little pricey for the size in my opinion. overall it has become one of our favorite places to grab dinner. friday and saturday night are very busy so consider a reservation.

we went to trufire with some friends from out of town and couldn't have picked a better place! the food was delicious and priced well for the generous portions. the pecan and fig salad really is as tasty as they claim and thepizzacould feed two to three people! definitely a great place to try in frisco.
