castle decor withgoodfood. trufire has great curb appeal. the heavy oak wood door with banded steel starts the decor. inside there are heavy rustic wood tables. the stained cement floor is plain. the archways have stone accents that give the restaurant a castle feel. it's very pleasant. they do keep it dark in there, and the cement floor does increase the sound volume.

i think the service is better than the food. the two hosts will open the door for your. they smile bright and say welcome. they are so polite and nice. then a very happy smiling servers appears. she is upbeat and knows her menu. she's very attentive.

the food isgoodnot great. we tried trumac, napa chicken, pan seared sockeye (salmon), texas pecan & fig salad, spicy chicken noodles, blue lemon, philly brouchette, and two side salads. everything was good. i enjoyed my meal. i think i would rank the service first, decor second, and food third, but all of it good.

not good!!!. i'm not sure how this place has so many glowing reviews. i went here with my husband on a saturday evening and was totally unimpressed by everything. our first impression was that there are way too many tables for the space. we were crammed in there like sardines. secondly it is too dark. not in a romantic way, more like a dungeon. then there is the loud factor. there was really bad 80's music playing too loud where it was hard to have a conversation. i was expecting this to be agooddate spot after reading reviews. not my idea of a romantic restaurant at all. now onto the food and drinks. the sangria was bad. the crab dip was not good. the latin fire pizza was bizarre. at first i thought it was interesting but the red sauce was weird to me and i couldn't get over the fact that the crust was a soggy mess. my husband got some kind of pasta and it was dry and bland. total waste of money!

excellent meal. we have now been to trufire on 3 seperate occasions and had a wonderful experience each time. the pizza is excellent on their home made thin crusts and the turkey burger is very tasty. the fig salad and the sweet potato fries are my favorite side items. their drinks aregoodbut a little pricey for the size in my opinion. overall it has become one of our favorite places to grab dinner. friday and saturday night are very busy so consider a reservation.

overall disappointed for the price. entrées did not come with any salad. the waitress, while nice, did not ask me if i'd been here before, or let me know about the menu in anyway. the chicken parmesan was very large and good. so was the caprese salad. the tomatoes were large/fresh and the mozzarella was abundant. no draft beer, which is a biggie with me. i was not offered outdoor seating, which if i would've known was available i would've wanted. while not an issue, it is a loud place. so not for those who want a quiet intimate dinner. not a bad place, but for $33.00 + 6.00 tip, was certainly not agoodvalue imho.

went for the first time today for happy hour. they have it 7 days a week. our waiter was a great... reallygoodservice. food was good, but was a little overpriced. the drinks though were really good, and at the happy hour prices on drinks i guessed it evened out.

good overall. food was a little over priced but was good. the drinks were way over priced and not so good. door girl was a little snob that was extremely rude. she just wanted to get back to the door to talk to her guy friend. sadly asgoodas the food is shitty staff and pricy drinks take away from this place.
