our first time here was very impressive! we each got a cocktail suggested by our server, the gin's up and the strawberry smash. they were both delicious! we also shared a pizza (it was big enough to split), the latin fire pizza was amazing! overall, greatfoodand service! a little pricey, but definately worth it!

we had high hopes for trufire, yet were not impressed. atmosphere was great. the wait staff was great, yet thefoodwas too spicy and overall simple and mediocre. the menu selection was limited yet with a little of everything.

we ordered two pasta plates (seafood and meatball) and the spiciness dominated all other flavors to the point we couldn't finish the plates.

the cocktail drinks were very small (whisky pear and whisky apricot) and packed full of ice and in a few sips they were gone. for $12+ for a cocktail, i definitely feel that it was very little drink and flavor for the money.

i doubt we'll be going back to trufire. there are too many better options in the area.

castle decor with good food. trufire has great curb appeal. the heavy oak wood door with banded steel starts the decor. inside there are heavy rustic wood tables. the stained cement floor is plain. the archways have stone accents that give the restaurant a castle feel. it's very pleasant. they do keep it dark in there, and the cement floor does increase the sound volume.

i think the service is better than the food. the two hosts will open the door for your. they smile bright and say welcome. they are so polite and nice. then a very happy smiling servers appears. she is upbeat and knows her menu. she's very attentive.

thefoodis good not great. we tried trumac, napa chicken, pan seared sockeye (salmon), texas pecan & fig salad, spicy chicken noodles, blue lemon, philly brouchette, and two side salads. everything was good. i enjoyed my meal. i think i would rank the service first, decor second, andfoodthird, but all of it good.

not good!!!. i'm not sure how this place has so many glowing reviews. i went here with my husband on a saturday evening and was totally unimpressed by everything. our first impression was that there are way too many tables for the space. we were crammed in there like sardines. secondly it is too dark. not in a romantic way, more like a dungeon. then there is the loud factor. there was really bad 80's music playing too loud where it was hard to have a conversation. i was expecting this to be a good date spot after reading reviews. not my idea of a romantic restaurant at all. now onto thefoodand drinks. the sangria was bad. the crab dip was not good. the latin fire pizza was bizarre. at first i thought it was interesting but the red sauce was weird to me and i couldn't get over the fact that the crust was a soggy mess. my husband got some kind of pasta and it was dry and bland. total waste of money!

amazingfood& service!!!. this is one of the best restaurants in frisco, texas. remember to make a reservation as they are very busy, especially on saturday nights. i made a reservation for four at 6:30 pm on this saturday night. they were already crowded when we arrived, but we did not have to wait. my daughter split a large panzerella and a steak with vegetables. i ordered the large avocado salad that had feta cheese, tomatoes and was accompanied by pita bread. we also had hummus with vegetables and pita bread for an appetizer. my husband ordered the burger with garlic fries. everything was delicious and our service was superb. i can't wait to go back and try their pizza. they have a very nice patio, but on this night it was too cold. i will definitely go back for a return visit.

greatfoodand service. i've dined at this place half a dozen times and it never gets old. the philly bruschetta alone is worth the drive up from plano. the latin fire pizza is my favorite thing so far, but i have a lot of the menu left to cover. terrific service, reasonable prices for this level of quality. i definitely recommend it!

good overall.foodwas a little over priced but was good. the drinks were way over priced and not so good. door girl was a little snob that was extremely rude. she just wanted to get back to the door to talk to her guy friend. sadly as good as thefoodis shitty staff and pricy drinks take away from this place.

great food...iffy waiter.. went for lunch on a tuesday. excellentfoodand it came out fast..service could be stepped up a notch. it took a long time for the server to come back after we ordered an app, and then we sat around for almost 30 minutes for him at the end of the meal to follow up, and get ourfoodboxed. at this point there was only one other table who was also finishing. i couldn't tell if he just didn't care or if he had never been a waiter before. all in all i'll go back just for the hummus. it was to die for.

we went to trufire with some friends from out of town and couldn't have picked a better place! thefoodwas delicious and priced well for the generous portions. the pecan and fig salad really is as tasty as they claim and the pizza could feed two to three people! definitely a great place to try in frisco.

long wait so arrive early or try week nights. interesting menu. apps were great and small portions left room for the meal. poor service and misinformation given onfoodcontent caused major allergy/medical issue. waiter assured us no vitamin k. we even asked twice about specific ingridents and were assured it was a non issue. dish arrived and a few bites in i discovered the problem. waiter did not appologize or offer to remake or reorder. i watched others eat and took medicine to avoid a serious interaction. servers it is okay to say you don't know or we can't modify an item. i could have selected something else. i won't be coming back.
