this is one of the places to be in whole of allahabad. everything from the welcome drink to the food is amazing. filter coffee is very good. the service and ambience is wonderful. south indian is the best thing here along with so many varities such as cheese dosa etc. and the chinese too is good. a reasonable and a good place to go to.

poor packaging and less quantity

just awful is what this place was
we sat on one of their booths in bright afternoon and it was infected with mosquitoes 🦟
coming to the food
my sister ordered noodles with manchuria and it was so oily that she couldn’t have more than a couple of bites.
my husband had vada sambar with the ghee dosa and that was above average ( the vada was cold )
i had the meals and was very upset with the quality of the food.
i had heard praises about this place that led me visit here but was very dissatisfied

really good ambiance and seating arrangement is very comfy. gives you amazing south indian feels. food is delicious too. very preferable for family outings.

very poor quantity and quality

very nice ambiance. very good food. very very good and prompt service. excellent place for a family dinner. we had very less time and the person who attended to us nicely guided to the items on the menu that are quick .

it's been one hour i have ordered my food (veg. thali), all i have got so fat is my sweet lime water, which took a solid 10 mins, so much effort it involves to squeeze a lemon and add a pinch of salt to water #phew

south indian in allahabad is too much you can ask for and this is the place to fulfill your desire. good ambience and staff. amazing welcome drink. great taste of south indian menu with lots of variety to choose from. don't dare to try chinese or otherwise you'll be responsible for your decision not the restaurant.

this is a nice cozy place for authentic south indian food, the best south indian i have had in allahabad. the place is quite spacious with sitting arrangements on the floors with cushions , tables nicely arranged for groups , families or even a couple. the staff is welcoming and will greet you with a smile.

you may have to wait to get a seat sometimes. and i must admit the service is quite slow compared to other south indian places which is way faster.

you are welcomed with a refreshing jaljeera drink.

do try the mini south indian thali or the mini tiffin they serve puri sabji and some other chutney which are mostly cooked in coconut oil i think. it's gives perfect south indian taste.

try the rasam with appalam which is also a part of the thali. i wanted to try some thing other than masala dosa and the mysore butter was a great change it was different than the regular dosas i have had.

they have variety of idlis and also uttapam , i wish to try them at my next visit.

a recommended south indian place.

tamarind tree, when it started, was the best place in town. their food was amazing, staff polite and most of all the decor and ambience was superb.
but overtime their service has declined considerably. the food doesnt taste the same, the staff is okay. a lot of dishes, they outright say, they dont have.
hopefully, they’ll rise back to their original peak.

served fried rice and noodles blunt cold

this is an item is different from my order.... such a very worst restaurant...

packaging is rudimentary and haphazard. as if they were not expecting any orders to come.

the food was not fresh coocked. waste of money.

never deliver dosa or any tandoori item to any bicycle rider. it's reached to me... like paste (completely mashed). hope you people talk to zomato. thanks. sanjay singh, associate professor, allahabad university
