this is one of the places to be in whole of allahabad. everything from the welcome drink to the food is amazing. filter coffee is very good. the service and ambience is wonderful. south indian is the best thing here along with so many varities such as cheese dosa etc. and the chinese too is good. a reasonable and a goodplaceto go to.

my sister ordered noodles with manchuria and it was so oily that she couldn’t have more than a couple of bites.
my husband had vada sambar with the ghee dosa and that was above average ( the vada was cold )
i had the meals and was very upset with the quality of the food.
i had heard praises about thisplacethat led me visit here but was very dissatisfied

very nice ambiance. very good food. very very good and prompt service. excellentplacefor a family dinner. we had very less time and the person who attended to us nicely guided to the items on the menu that are quick .

south indian in allahabad is too much you can ask for and this is theplaceto fulfill your desire. good ambience and staff. amazing welcome drink. great taste of south indian menu with lots of variety to choose from. don't dare to try chinese or otherwise you'll be responsible for your decision not the restaurant.

this is a nice cozyplacefor authentic south indian food, the best south indian i have had in allahabad. theplaceis quite spacious with sitting arrangements on the floors with cushions , tables nicely arranged for groups , families or even a couple. the staff is welcoming and will greet you with a smile.

you may have to wait to get a seat sometimes. and i must admit the service is quite slow compared to other south indian places which is way faster.

you are welcomed with a refreshing jaljeera drink.

do try the mini south indian thali or the mini tiffin they serve puri sabji and some other chutney which are mostly cooked in coconut oil i think. it's gives perfect south indian taste.

try the rasam with appalam which is also a part of the thali. i wanted to try some thing other than masala dosa and the mysore butter was a great change it was different than the regular dosas i have had.

they have variety of idlis and also uttapam , i wish to try them at my next visit.

tamarind tree, when it started, was the bestplacein town. their food was amazing, staff polite and most of all the decor and ambience was superb.
but overtime their service has declined considerably. the food doesnt taste the same, the staff is okay. a lot of dishes, they outright say, they dont have.
hopefully, they’ll rise back to their original peak.

the ambiance, the quality, the service, the variety is just very good. keep it up!
they can improve on the authenticity of south india.

one of my favouriteplaceat civil lines, slow instrumental music, beautiful place, staff member are so polite, and the most important is that food is so testy.

their interior is quite good. based on sound indian theme they serve quite good quality of south indian cuisine.

we ordered chilli baby corn veg manchurian schezwan noodles nd fried rice..

every thing was nice but i got dissatisfaction from the schezwan noodles.

overall a goodplaceto hangout.
they also serve complimentary welcome drinks.

thisplaceis not good for home delivery ....i ordered spring roll when i went to the restaurant ...there , they served it with szechuan garlic sauce.....but one day i ordered spring roll for a home delivery and they delivered it with tomato ketchup...... expensive spring roll but they packed it with ketchup.....and they said that the szechuan sauce can't be packed for home delivery .....so in short i spent 160 rs for a 1rupee tomato ketchup ....they can't even pack food ...
their chinese food is worst ....don't know how to cook chinese food....

food is good but price is high. althoughplaceis.great if.you want to spend some peaceful and quality time with your family or friends. pure south indian place.

on a recent visit home, visited thisplacefor lunch.

decor and ambience feels quite authentic, and it seems even the staff is from down south.

food wise, quite extensive menu, variety of items, catering to both north and south indian foods.

food taste is something i was not very impressed with. not because it is north india and you won't get similar taste from south. but it wasn't something i would be keen on having again, atleast here. quantity was good enough. but was not very satisfied, compared to when there are other places too in bangalore, where one can get south indian flavour much closer to the real taste.

would give it maximum 3.5

i visit thisplacefirst tym, its a small south indian restaurant which has beautiful interiors n exterior... i like the ambience the chair are beautifully wove with threads, interior are beautiful with dim light.. now let's come for food, i didn't like the food i tried idli n dosa which was not upto the mark... dosa was lit fine but idli was not so good... overall the staff were good but service was slow....

the most attractive thing about thisplaceis it's ambiance , it has small huts and village like decorations with beautifull seatings areas , dim yellow light and got cozy vibes.
their sand decoration on tables is something creative.

service is prompt .

they serve south indian and chinese meals .
food is good in taste for the cost they charge.
i tried their masala dosa , butter paneer masala dosa , munchow soup spring rolls and midnight beauty mocktail , all tasted good .

they also serve welcome drinks in starting , but we got that drink only on one of my visit on other two visits they didn't offer any welcome drinks .
