awesome southern-comfort food with an indie twist. we loved this place. we could not stop raving about the food and service. our entire trip here has been surrounded by boring meals at high prices. this first place that we actually enjoyed it. the service was awesome. they were super friendly and welcoming. the food was fresh and innovative. we couldn't get enough of it. the grit-cakes were so tasty and unique, the salad was fresh, and the dinners were just right. would highly recommend this place to any of our friends.

so.good.. i always have a difficult time deciding what to order when we go there. luckily everything is awesome so you can never go wrong with your choice. they have the best tofu, too!

great food and very nice people. my wife and i read the reviews and decided to try during our trip to st augustine. we loved the food and the staff. the food was great and plentiful. the servers were very nice. and the location was great and had plenty of parking nearby. it is certainly worth the trip!

great food but.... we loved the food but was not very hot because it was brought very late. i had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich that was exceptional and my wife loved her crab sandwich. could've only been better if it was hot or at least warmer. our best guess is that something went awry in the pickup for the server. we ordered before several other tables even had people sitting at them--people came, ordered and ate before our food was brought to us...not very warm. i would definitely give this place another try because the food is very good. i'll just try and get the other server next time.

nice and clean. best meatloaf sandwich ever. best pecan pie too. great cooking and presentation.

so hard to find a good reliable restaurant in old towne st. augustine. most are tourist traps. we will definitely be back!

we went for the first time and the food was great. we ordered apps for the table (grit cakes and fried pickles) they were both delicious. we shared the the strawberry salad and east meets west flounder and both were fantastic. they were totally accommodating to my 7th. old who wanted fries fish. oh and did i mention the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake? delightful!

love the choice. as others have said, so hard to decide what to order, and yet, their menu is relatively small. that is a sign of quality food and great pairings, if you ask me. love the variety and choice available on the menu. most dishes offer a vegan-twist. and all ingredients seemed to be local and organic (love this...more restaurants need to do this) making everything very fresh on the plate.

i had a special, the meatloaf sandwich with a side of collard greens. outstanding. the dessert list sounded amazing, though i could not add more to the belly.

the atmosphere was quite nice. the wait was expected with a party of 7 but not long as we had a nice chat with the bartender back in the speakeasy. great artwork on the walls. staff was quite friendly and genuine. the crowd was a touch older, but then we got there early. i hear it is a little more hipster later in the evening.

very good, best meal i have had in st. aug yet. will be back on my next visit.

one of the best meals ive had maybe ever. just tried it today for lunch. my wife and i got different things and shared because everything looked so good. we were completely blown away. it was very apparent that they care about their food and about the ingredients they use, a great deal of it locally sourced. we have lived in st. augustine for almost 2 years now, and i can with confidence say that this place is one of the best in town. incredible food, great ambience, and really reasonable prices. we rarely go downtown but will be eating at the floridian very often from now on.

wow! this place is so great!! it was so hard to decide what to order so we each ordered something different and shared. i couldn't even tell you what meal was best. they even made a half portion for my 5 year old son. great service amazing food!

wow.. my single complaint about the floridian is that this place is so delicious, that i never want to eat anywhere else in downtown saint augustine.

the food is always fresh (using local and organic ingredients), and it is always full of flavor! i have tried different menu items with each trip ther, and i have yet to be disappointed in a single one.

one drawback is that the floridian is across the street from a church, so in order to drink, alcohol must be consumed in the back bar. i love a good beer with dinner but this has yet to discourage me from going!

you seriously cannot go wrong with this place.
