i might be addicted. i've been three times in the past two weeks--i love every single thing i've tried here. the food is amazing, the staff is so incredibly warm and friendly, service is prompt, and prices are very reasonable. i've had (or stolen a bite of) the thai ginger, pad kra pow, pineapple curry, thai peanut sauce, panang curry, and basil chicken. all of them are delicious. every appetizer i've tried has been wonderful as well--the cream cheese pockets are very tasty, and the made-to-order egg rolls are fabulous. their tom kha is my favorite in town, hands down--i can guarantee it's my go-to comfort carry out request from here on out. andre--y'all are doing a wonderful job. thanks so much to you and your team for such great meals! i can't wait to bring our friends to your next taste of thai event!

very, very average.... having read the reviews on here, we figured we'd give this place a try. i would like stay not to let first impressions of the place put you off, but in this case, they probably should. we have standard thai dishes that we use to get a feel for a place compared to others in the area. the tom ka gai was actually pretty good, but after that it went down hill. the coconut shrimp was just deep-fried nothingness, the same kind of thing you'd get at a fast food joint. the chicken panang was very salty due to to much fish sauce. the red curry was a little better, but still very average. we're in our -ahem- mid 30's, and were the youngest in there. this is around 7pm on a friday night, and it wasn't looking like the 8pm crowd were any different. the staff were sweet, and doing the best they could, but of the 7 or 8 thai restaurants in the mid-cities and las colinas area, this rates at the bottom of the scale. as is often the case, there's a reason why there's always coupons available.

had passed this place many times always talking about trying it out.
will not pass by as much.
good food with large portions.
the wife and i took half of our order home and we are big eaters.
they were very helpful and made accurate choices about the food.
will be back for a second time to see if all holds true

my asparagus delight with chicken was phenomenal--easily some of the best thai food i've ever had. the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the brown sauce was superb; it was very flavorful, but light. (i can't wait to finish my leftovers tonight!)

unfortunately though, my hubby's garlic salmon was bad. really bad. it was undercooked and the garlic was overpowering. he's still feeling the uh, after effects.

service was fine. we got there just a bit earlier than most of the after church crowd and we had our iced teas and an appetizer (somewhat forgettable), quickly.

we will definitely be back, (i picked up a take out menu on the way out), but i'm thinking we'll stick with the more traditional thai dishes.

this was our first visit to thai thip. we had edamame to start with and then ordered the yellow curry and the mixed vegetable delight. everything was fresh and tasty! we ordered with medium spice and it was perfect!
this family owned restaurant is homey and friendly..
we will be back to try some more entrées!
they also have a lunch menu that we are looking forward to checking out as well.

ranked. this place is unreal. this is the best thai place in the mid cities. i can't say that thai thip is the best in dfw, but it is high in the rankings! i always try and order something different, and i have enjoyed every dish. they have great curries, noodles, fried rice, and stir frys. i tried the spicy beef salad tonight, and it was great.

try this place, it is ranked!

all the reviewers are owner's friends?. what are they talking about? the food wasnt good at all! my husband ordered chicken fried rice. his food was okay. not that great. i thought the rice wasnt fried enough though. but just okay. and i ordered pad lad na. omg!!!! the owner said it is best with seafood. why were the flat rice noodles burned? and where was my sea food? i only saw a lot of fishballs, which are made of fish scraps!!!! and it was extra money for that! i won't go there anymore!!! that food ruined my day.

awesome, vegan-friendly!. thai thip is a fantastic vegan-friendly thai restaurant in the mid cities near hurst and north richland hills. the owner and the staff were all very kind and accommodating. they made sure everything was prepared according to my dietary preferences and were very fun and awesome to me. the restaurant is full of dedicated regulars, and the owner takes genuine care in the quality of his food and strives to create an excellent dining experience for each of his guests. i almost always feel i am inconveniencing the waitstaff by being vegan, and usually feel compelled to apologize or joke about my eating habits, but this was completely not the case at thai thip. i felt incredibly welcomed, and very, very glad to have found this place! the food was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were all fresh-- not frozen. i had the green curry and the mushrooms were probably the best i've had in a while. everything was a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory. i'll definitely be back!
