all the reviewers are owner's friends?. what are they talking about? the food wasntgoodat all! my husband ordered chicken fried rice. his food was okay. not that great. i thought the rice wasnt fried enough though. but just okay. and i ordered pad lad na. omg!!!! the owner said it is best with seafood. why were the flat rice noodles burned? and where was my sea food? i only saw a lot of fishballs, which are made of fish scraps!!!! and it was extra money for that! i won't go there anymore!!! that food ruined my day.

i'm not sure what other folks are talking about. this place was awful! i created an urbanspoon account just so i could make this review. i travel all over the metroplex and seek out thai restaurants wherever i go. i've eaten at the thai restaurant in the space before so i was hopeful that the food would at least be asgoodor better. i was very disappointed. first sign i should have just not bothered- it was 1pm and there was not a car in the parking lot nor another person eating at the restaurant. second- the yellow curry looked like it was out of a can. thick, lumpy, and generally gross. i pushed through the bad gut feeling and tried it. the curry literally tasted like cream of chicken canned gross. if you want thai, go a little further down harwood to thai jasmine. much better food and usually pretty packed.

very kitschy environment with video karaoke from the 70's playing and the words to the song on the tv. i heard a john denver song played twice, alas not sung by john denver with ballroom dancing on the video on the wall next to us. food was soooo bland. i was hoping since there is no ambience that the food would at least be good. it was extremely average. the thom ka gai soup had a watered down coconut milk base and there was no sweetness, no heat and very few mushroom "pieces".i guess thailicious soup has me spoiled. the red curry was also very one dimensional and was just amazingly bland and weak in flavor. i just moved back to nrh an was hoping for a round the corner thai restaurant...but, this ain't it. completely forgettable. those who gavegoodreviews...do you have a basis for comparison? hey, but if you are in hurst and have no other choice...it's perfectly ok....i guess.

good thai dining. great food and excellent service. drive by it all the time and decided to give it a try and will definitely be back. kid friendly - very easy to share lots of dishes. owner andre is a great guy, committed to making great, authentic food. he sent a free sampling of appetizers to our table for us to try different items off the menu. verygoodexperience, will be back!

not all fancied up. plain decorations and table settings don't mean plain food. if you want over the top atmosphere and high prices, go somewhere else. if you want reallygoodthai food, go here! service is great. cooks are all thai. recipes are all from scratch. fresh vegetables and high quality meat. you gotta try the curry fo shurry! i love the panang and my gf loves the green, but they're all great. can't go wrong with the pad thai either. never had a bad meal there and we've eaten most of the menu. watch how spicy you ask for it, because you'll get it.

delicious!. we went here for the first time this week and there were so many things we absolutely loved!
1. the environment....the restaurant is very clean, even though it is smaller it was nice and you could tell they took pride in it.
2. the staff...they were so personable! the owner came and talked with us for a little bit while we were waiting to get our meal (not the annoying type talk where they won't go away while you're trying to eat), the waiter was very informative about the menu and they all round cared if you liked it or not. they want to know your input on how the dish taste, was presented, and prepared. they recommended dishes based on what we told him we liked and didn't like (i.e. spicy, etc). our drinks never went empty and the service was fast and friendly!
3. the price....it was so affordable. we got two soft drinks, two entrees and a dessert and it was $22!!
4. last but not least, the food....it was very good, i was impressed and i will have to admit i do not usually try new things. the ingredients were fresh, it was hot (temperature wise), and it was tasty! i ordered the pad thai and my boyfriend order the pad kra pow. both dishes were amazing (of course i tried his too) and not to mention the dessert we order the stinky rice with coconut ice cream (which was complementary on the house since it was our first time eating there). i would have never ordered the dessert because i hate coconut and with rice?! but it was delicious!!!! i highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking forgoodfood and a friendly atmosphere!

good stuff!. after recently moving back to heb and leaving my all time fave hole-in-the-wall thai place (rice and noodles) i've been on the hunt for agoodthai place around here and this is by far one of the best. what really makes the place is the owner and his staff.. the food is just tip-top as well. one of the best pad thai i've ever had. the fried rice needed just a little more basil, but the sticky rice was just perfect. two-thumbs way up!
