by far, the best thai food i have ever had! spicy and non-spicy options... all delicious.

fresh veggies & gorgeous flavors. just had dinner and couldn't be more satisfied. friendly, genuine customer service, super flavorful sauces, fresh veggies, clean, and spice levels on target. my girls loved everything. order fresh spring rolls (no stickiness.....fresh), red curry tofu and chicken pad thai. delish!!!!
they deliver too!!

wonderful. this restaurant is recently back under the prior management that it was when called thai thippawan. we just went back and the food was absolutely wonderful. if you are a prior patron of thai thippawan, you need to come back. it is so good!!!!

110% super scrumptious thai! the owner recommended dishes that hit the spot. my 2 small children liked the thai wings & jasmine rice. i ordered the n4, it was seasoned perfectly & i can really tell the veggies were fresh. the staff were nice to the kids too when normally at other places they often get ignored. i was pleasantly surprised with the luxury soap in the ladies room. this foodie highly recommends thai thip! two forks up!

i'm not sure what other folks are talking about. this place was awful! i created an urbanspoon account just so i could make this review. i travel all over the metroplex and seek out thai restaurants wherever i go. i've eaten at the thai restaurant in the space before so i was hopeful that the food would at least be as good or better. i was very disappointed. first sign i should have just not bothered- it was 1pm and there was not a car in the parking lot nor another person eating at the restaurant. second- the yellow curry looked like it was out of a can. thick, lumpy, and generally gross. i pushed through the bad gut feeling and tried it. the curry literally tasted like cream of chicken canned gross. if you want thai, go a little further down harwood to thai jasmine. much better food and usually pretty packed.

i recently came here for a quick lunch.was greeted nicely,but could not stay and eat.they had fans running and i noticed a strong smell of dead mice ugggh.i was nice to eat here when it was formerly called thai thippawan and had different owners.hopefully they will get this problem taken care of!

great food and excellent service. we have eaten at thai thip 2 or 3 times. it used to be called thai thippawan, but changed to thai thip when ownership changed a few months ago. fortunately, they still offer the same great service and tasty food.

i like that you can choose how spicy you want your dishes, so i can get the mild (no hot spice at all), and my husband can get the spicy (complete with jalapeños). one of my daughters really likes the fish dishes, while my youngest and pickiest eater liked the chicken nuggets they used to have, but did not like the crying tiger she tried this last time.

it is a very small place, and the atmosphere is cozy. the food arrives hot, fresh, plentiful, and with a smile. we will definitely be going back.

very kitschy environment with video karaoke from the 70's playing and the words to the song on the tv. i heard a john denver song played twice, alas not sung by john denver with ballroom dancing on the video on the wall next to us. food was soooo bland. i was hoping since there is no ambience that the food would at least be good. it was extremely average. the thom ka gai soup had a watered down coconut milk base and there was no sweetness, no heat and very few mushroom "pieces".i guess thailicious soup has me spoiled. the red curry was also very one dimensional and was just amazingly bland and weak in flavor. i just moved back to nrh an was hoping for a round the corner thai restaurant...but, this ain't it. completely forgettable. those who gave good reviews...do you have a basis for comparison? hey, but if you are in hurst and have no other choice...it's perfectly ok....i guess.

charming, friendly, delicious.. my family and i decided to try out thai thippawan based off of the reviews here on urbanspoon. the main reason, though, was that they had vegetarian options and vegetarian corn patties which i love. the place matched up to all of the positive review its been receiving. i was so very impressed by this place.. i actually realized driving up that this restaurant used to be my old dance studio :) but the atmosphere was very calming and inviting. we always had a full beverage in front of us (which is a plus in my book), and our server was just so sweet and helpful. they brought our tea out hot, and it was just so relaxing sipping some hot herbal tea and listening to the soothing thai inspired soundscape music above our heads. the corn patties were so damn delicious, and i actually loved their spring rolls (i have eaten spring rolls at several thai food places in the dfw and these were the only ones i've actually liked). my pad thai was well....yum. the best thing was that the owner took time out to personally greet us (and not the type of owner that asks you how the food was and then walks away..)..an owner that should be teaching other owners how to treat their customers. if your guests know you, then they are much more likely to return. andre did just that. i wish the best of luck to this establishment and will be coming back soon.

very disappointed with the service the last few times i've been in. waited almost 2 hours for our food to be brought out and wait staff lacks in customer service! its a shame since food is good but will not return due to bad service

great food, great people. hubby, son and i decided today was the day to check it out. food was excellent and the owner was both personable and gracious when my meal was a little too spicy for me. traded for almond chicken which was divine. (the other was also very good, but too hot for me). definitely reccomend it and we will be back.
