the best thai food in dfw if not in the world!!! the service was amazing an te coconut ice cream with stickyricewas the best ever. if you love food in general, you will love this place.

all the reviewers are owner's friends?. what are they talking about? the food wasnt good at all! my husband ordered chicken fried rice. his food was okay. not that great. i thought thericewasnt fried enough though. but just okay. and i ordered pad lad na. omg!!!! the owner said it is best with seafood. why were the flatricenoodles burned? and where was my sea food? i only saw a lot of fishballs, which are made of fish scraps!!!! and it was extra money for that! i won't go there anymore!!! that food ruined my day.

mediocre at best. food was expensive for quality and taste. crab friedricewas a huge disappointment. people giving rave reviews obviously were raised on mcdonald's fine cuisine.

yum!!!!. ok, yes, the food was great, but andre, the owner, was beyond great. pad thai - 10 stars! mango stickyrice- more stars! service was great even though they were extremely busy. frankly, i can't wait to go back. i don't like curry ... or thought i didn't. the massamo (not sure of spelling), one of the curry dishes, was excellent. visit this place; you will not be sorry!

wow! the crab rangoon andricedessert dish were incredible. the service and friendly atmosphere make this place a winner. plus you can pay with square!

perfect first impression. this was our first visit, and andre and his staff went well above and beyond to make it memorable. such a friendly place! the food was amazing. we knew we were in for a treat when we tasted the calamari, crab puffs and curry wonton. we started talking about coming back and ordering nothing but appetizers! i'm glad we didn't tonight though... we'd have missed out on the delicious pad kra pow and pad kee mow. i'm also glad we saved room for dessert, as the stickyriceand mango were phenomenal!

great date night. what an unexpected surprise. the taste of thai event was wonderful with a variety of thai dishes that you can try. i love that he introduced the fruit and coconut water from an actual coconut that he cracked in front of you to try. a delicious tray of appetizers and fresh spring rolls were served that were just wonderful. a variety of soups were offered. i love the tom yom (is that sp correct) a complete fresh array of thai dishes that were freshly being prepared in the kitchen were offered buffet style. i'm the type that tries one dish and sticks to it. this was a great chance to explore the menu. the thai tea that i tried for the first time was delicious and wll order it again. as if that was not enough, his crew was grilling coconut thai chicken on skewers. oh wait, there comes some dumplings that were quite tasty. just when i couldn't eat another think, here comes the dessert. mango and stickyricewith mango ice cream. that was really good, but i prefer coconut ice cream, which i will request next time. as for the service, honestly we could not have gotten any better. the owner, andre was so warm that it felt like you were visiting friends. his crew was very friendly and eager to please. i can say that i've never written a review before, but i had to. what a great evening. oh, btw at the end of the night he has everyone put their name in a bag and picks a name for a $25 gift card. i will definately put it on my calendar for next month.

best thai food around! the curry is excellent with the perfect amount of spice. be sure to get the homemade coconut ice cream with stickyricefor dessert. it is absolutely amazing! the service is awesome and the owner explained the intricacies of every entree. if you want homemade thai this is the place to go!

delicious!. we went here for the first time this week and there were so many things we absolutely loved!
1. the environment....the restaurant is very clean, even though it is smaller it was nice and you could tell they took pride in it.
2. the staff...they were so personable! the owner came and talked with us for a little bit while we were waiting to get our meal (not the annoying type talk where they won't go away while you're trying to eat), the waiter was very informative about the menu and they all round cared if you liked it or not. they want to know your input on how the dish taste, was presented, and prepared. they recommended dishes based on what we told him we liked and didn't like (i.e. spicy, etc). our drinks never went empty and the service was fast and friendly!
3. the price....it was so affordable. we got two soft drinks, two entrees and a dessert and it was $22!!
4. last but not least, the food....it was very good, i was impressed and i will have to admit i do not usually try new things. the ingredients were fresh, it was hot (temperature wise), and it was tasty! i ordered the pad thai and my boyfriend order the pad kra pow. both dishes were amazing (of course i tried his too) and not to mention the dessert we order the stinkyricewith coconut ice cream (which was complementary on the house since it was our first time eating there). i would have never ordered the dessert because i hate coconut and with rice?! but it was delicious!!!! i highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and a friendly atmosphere!

good stuff!. after recently moving back to heb and leaving my all time fave hole-in-the-wall thai place (rice and noodles) i've been on the hunt for a good thai place around here and this is by far one of the best. what really makes the place is the owner and his staff.. the food is just tip-top as well. one of the best pad thai i've ever had. the friedriceneeded just a little more basil, but the stickyricewas just perfect. two-thumbs way up!

best kept secret!. i am always looking for a place like this. great food, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere, byob. this is the place! i will be back!

our famous stickyrice& mango. had thai thippawan's warm stickyricetopped with coconut ice cream. wow! great combination of flavors. loved it!

wonderful!. had dinner at thai thippawan for the first time tonight and i must say that the service and food were wonderful! i am a vegetarian and the owner took special attention when taking my order. everything that we ordered tasted very fresh and was seasoned to perfection. the stickyricewas so good, i could have eaten an entire meal of just that :) we will be eating there again!

another great meal. just went to tt this evening with two friends. everyone in our party absolutely loved it. our plates were cleaned. spicy zay, pineapple fried rice, red curry, tom ka chicken soup, corn patties, mango with stickyriceand coconut ice cream... all tasty, all wonderful. thanks andre!!

simply excellent. best pad thai i've ever had. excellent panang curry - hot, which was thai hot. mango with sticky was really good too. had the corn patties as well and they were good but made terrific with the sauce that was served with them. good service too.

i love it!. i've been to thai tippawan twice, and the owner already remembers me and what i ordered the first time. i ordered pad kra pow with shrimp and pork. it was delicious, and very spicy (which is good for me). for dessert i had stickyricewith mango for the first time, it was awesome! some of my friends had raved about the sticky rice, and it was definitely a winner. with most meals under $10, it's very affordable, but the atmosphere is what seals the deal for me, an owner who pays enough attention to remember what his customers order is hard to find these days.
