great food and great value. this is a wonderful place to eat. andre and his wait staff are very friendly. the food is authentic and delicious. i've been there 3 times now and all the visits exceeded my expectation. the lunch value soups are worth every cent. i definitely a fan. first timers try the laab.

tasty, fresh, and great selection. thai thippawan is a locally owned and operated restaurant with a great selection in their menu and wonderfully flavorful food! i have been a customer for several years and have never had a bad dish. highly recommend!

we've received a few comments at the rjg to consider thai thippawan. and for us, it's actually a reconsider position. we did try thai thippawan not long after they first opened in early 2008, and we were not overly impressed. so we were reticent to return, especially considering we're more than happy with sea siam, sweet basil and bangkok cuisine - all featured prominently on this blog. but the rjg feels it only fair to try (or retry) all the restaurants that fit our tastes. an

diamond in the rough. having been coming here for a while, i have gotten to know the staff pretty well. you'd be hard pressed to find a group more dedicated to making your visit feel like home. i often go there in non peak hours now just to visit with them.
that said, they have seen some phenomenal growth lately and are going through some growing pains service wise as a result. they've recently added staff and i'm sure it's just a matter of time until they figure out how to accommodate the larger crowds. they have the kind of dedication to service that will overcome any obstacles that they may encounter.
food wise, they are excellent. the dishes are always tasty and they consistently satisfy when i try something new.
all in all, i've had fun getting to know them, learning about thai food in the process, and watching a diamond in the rough begin to sparkle.

there on 12/27/11. this was our first time there and we fell in love with the food and great service. the owner, andre, is very personable and even shared his faith with us. i thought that was great and will definitely be returning for the awesome food and mostly because he shared his faith.

i pray god's blessing on his restaurant and that more will come to eat.

the 'thai' grace and warmth of itself would keep me as a customer but the food is fresh, originally served and delicious. the perfect place for people who are conscientious about what they eat. one has the feeling you're eating food that you would make for yourself and friends. andre is the 'del frisco' of thai and the staff are excellent. team member lindsey nordyke is expertly knowledgeable with a jaw dropping memory and a contagious friendliness.

try this for lunch. i have had lunch hear a couple of times and really like this place. no extravagant surroundings but a nice quite place to have lunch. the lunch is really affordable for thai. i like the green curry dish with 3 star heat.

they serve a nice salad dish as well. ingredients are fresh. the service is good. they want you to enjoy your meal and come back again.

absolutely delicious!. this is a little out of the way place but so worth checking out. we had dinner tonight with friends and the four of us each ordered something different to share. we were all pleased. i had the pad kra pow and it was just what i wanted! everything was very fresh and prepared perfectly. andre, the owner is very accommodating and friendly. he surprised us with the coconut ice cream for dessert...what a treat! we will definitely return.

good stuff!. after recently moving back to heb and leaving my all time fave hole-in-the-wall thai place (rice and noodles) i've been on the hunt for a good thai place around here and this is by far one of the best. what really makes the place is the owner and his staff.. the food is just tip-top as well. one of the best pad thai i've ever had. the fried rice needed just a little more basil, but the sticky rice was just perfect. two-thumbs way up!

great food!!! outstanding service!! so-so atmosphere, but who cares when the food is fabulous and the staff is so friendly and helpful!! this is a wonderful 'neighborhood' place that will soon become a busy 'destination' location!

delicious!. they have the best crab puff appetizers in the world! i have now eaten there four times, and have not had anything i didn't like or service that was bad. the owner is always there and incredibly cordial. the food is outstanding.
