amazing! had the pad kra pow topped with a fried egg. superfreshveggies and very tasty sauce with mint! a+++

also had the chicken pho... was ok... 7/10.

this was our first visit to thai thip. we had edamame to start with and then ordered the yellow curry and the mixed vegetable delight. everything wasfreshand tasty! we ordered with medium spice and it was perfect!
this family owned restaurant is homey and friendly..
we will be back to try some more entrées!
they also have a lunch menu that we are looking forward to checking out as well.

don't usually care for thai, but all i can say is wow!. excellent food and awesome people! i highly recommend.
we am started off with the fried wontons. my wife had the beef massaman curry, i had the beef pad sew ew, and my grandmother the shrimp fried rice. all ingredients seemed veryfreshand every dish was amazing. spicy is rated from 1-5, 2 was pretty spicy, but perfect.

fresh veggies & gorgeous flavors. just had dinner and couldn't be more satisfied. friendly, genuine customer service, super flavorful sauces,freshveggies, clean, and spice levels on target. my girls loved everything. orderfreshspring rolls (no stickiness.....fresh), red curry tofu and chicken pad thai. delish!!!!

great date night. what an unexpected surprise. the taste of thai event was wonderful with a variety of thai dishes that you can try. i love that he introduced the fruit and coconut water from an actual coconut that he cracked in front of you to try. a delicious tray of appetizers andfreshspring rolls were served that were just wonderful. a variety of soups were offered. i love the tom yom (is that sp correct) a completefresharray of thai dishes that were freshly being prepared in the kitchen were offered buffet style. i'm the type that tries one dish and sticks to it. this was a great chance to explore the menu. the thai tea that i tried for the first time was delicious and wll order it again. as if that was not enough, his crew was grilling coconut thai chicken on skewers. oh wait, there comes some dumplings that were quite tasty. just when i couldn't eat another think, here comes the dessert. mango and sticky rice with mango ice cream. that was really good, but i prefer coconut ice cream, which i will request next time. as for the service, honestly we could not have gotten any better. the owner, andre was so warm that it felt like you were visiting friends. his crew was very friendly and eager to please. i can say that i've never written a review before, but i had to. what a great evening. oh, btw at the end of the night he has everyone put their name in a bag and picks a name for a $25 gift card. i will definately put it on my calendar for next month.

eat here now!. great thai restaurant! the ingredients are extremelyfreshand the spice level is perfect. huge chunks of vegetables and basil, and the green curry is amazing. just the right balance of heat and flavor. the dishes are all very light, leaving you enough room for the must-have mango sticky rice. no matter where you live in the metroplex, it is definitely worth a trip to the mid-cities to check this place out.

not all fancied up. plain decorations and table settings don't mean plain food. if you want over the top atmosphere and high prices, go somewhere else. if you want really good thai food, go here! service is great. cooks are all thai. recipes are all from scratch.freshvegetables and high quality meat. you gotta try the curry fo shurry! i love the panang and my gf loves the green, but they're all great. can't go wrong with the pad thai either. never had a bad meal there and we've eaten most of the menu. watch how spicy you ask for it, because you'll get it.

this food will make your day.. i've been to thai thippawan a few times, and every time i leave my thoughts are always, "wow, wow and yet again wow." the food is absolutely amazing, it always tastefreshand bold. i've yet to order something that isn't phenomenal. it's real cozy and the waiters are always very sweet; i've never experienced any bad service. the owner is a really nice guy and greets all the costumers and the prices arn't going to put a hole in your wallet. it's just an all around great atmosphere and you feel very satisfied after you've left. so if you're looking for some quality thai food, this place is a great spot to check out.

absolutely delicious!. this is a little out of the way place but so worth checking out. we had dinner tonight with friends and the four of us each ordered something different to share. we were all pleased. i had the pad kra pow and it was just what i wanted! everything was veryfreshand prepared perfectly. andre, the owner is very accommodating and friendly. he surprised us with the coconut ice cream for dessert...what a treat! we will definitely return.

did not want to leave. the moment i entered i was greeted by what i thought was a friendly and attentive server, only to find out he was the owner! i asked him about the food and was given as much pleasant conversation as i could ask for regarding the food, the restaurant, and even big up and coming plans. then i had the food: amazing. there was so much flavour without any overpowering elements, and when i was done i felt almost obligated to sample every item on the menu. if only i had a spare stomach!

prices are very reasonable for an adequate meal, so they're extreme values for the quality of food, especially knowing that the ingredients arefreshand in season. it's so difficult to find places that do all they can to use in-season produce. i look forward to not only going there again but taking people with me.

in the end, i spent 2 hours in thai thippawan because i just didn't want to leave, but after i finally finished the last spoonful of homemade coconut ice cream over sticky rice, i had to admit to myself that i could not put off the rest of the day just for excellent food and amazing service.

wonderful!. had dinner at thai thippawan for the first time tonight and i must say that the service and food were wonderful! i am a vegetarian and the owner took special attention when taking my order. everything that we ordered tasted veryfreshand was seasoned to perfection. the sticky rice was so good, i could have eaten an entire meal of just that :) we will be eating there again!

great find. went here the other night. one of the best thai places ive been to in dfw. great taste and veryfreshfood. the owner and waitstaff were also very nice and helpfull.

best thai food in the mid cities area. the food isfresh& delicious. excellent coconut icecream too. they are the only thai food restaurant that i know of that delivers to parts of the colleyville area. now that we have discovered this place we will continue to choose it over the other thai food restaurants in the area!
