fantastic!. my boyfriend and i love thai food and a co-worker recommended thisplaceso we tried it. we love it! the service is top notch, and the food is outstanding! every dish we have tried so far has been delicious. definitley gets a 'two thumbs up' from me!

very, very average.... having read the reviews on here, we figured we'd give thisplacea try. i would like stay not to let first impressions of theplaceput you off, but in this case, they probably should. we have standard thai dishes that we use to get a feel for aplacecompared to others in the area. the tom ka gai was actually pretty good, but after that it went down hill. the coconut shrimp was just deep-fried nothingness, the same kind of thing you'd get at a fast food joint. the chicken panang was very salty due to to much fish sauce. the red curry was a little better, but still very average. we're in our -ahem- mid 30's, and were the youngest in there. this is around 7pm on a friday night, and it wasn't looking like the 8pm crowd were any different. the staff were sweet, and doing the best they could, but of the 7 or 8 thai restaurants in the mid-cities and las colinas area, this rates at the bottom of the scale. as is often the case, there's a reason why there's always coupons available.

will not pass by as much.
good food with large portions.
the wife and i took half of our order home and we are big eaters.
they were very helpful and made accurate choices about the food.
will be back for a second time to see if all holds true

ranked. thisplaceis unreal. this is the best thaiplacein the mid cities. i can't say that thai thip is the best in dfw, but it is high in the rankings! i always try and order something different, and i have enjoyed every dish. they have great curries, noodles, fried rice, and stir frys. i tried the spicy beef salad tonight, and it was great.

try this place, it is ranked!

went here for the first time saturday night. the food was great. i had the thai egg rolls and the pad see eww. it was packed when i came in and the manger split a table off so we could eat. the customers where friendly and wanted to talk to each other. it happened to be there taste of thailand night. i plan to go for it when they do it again next month. if you like thai food this is theplacefor you. oh if you like really spicy i recommend getting atleast a five level of heat to start.

outstanding!. thisplaceis fantastic. the food is wonderful...very authentic...as is the food presentation. the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is so friendly... love it. i had the panang curry with tofu. delicious! will definitely be back.

best thai food!. my husband and i have eaten dinner twice now at thai tipp and both times the food has been wonderful. we have eaten and many, many thaiplacein ft worth and this is hands down the best we have ever had! the food is very fresh, served with a beautiful presentation and the wait staff is friendly and attentive! cannot wait for the monthly "taste of thailand" that the owner hosts every month ~

do not eat here!!!. oh my god. this is the worstplaceever. i got delivery through grub hub with them...i do not recommend it! i could have gotten the food faster if i rode a unicycle to the restaurant and picked it up myself. i ordered food at 5:30pm and didn't get it delivered until 7:10 when i was told it would be there around 6:30. the beverage i got tasted like an ash tray and the pad thai was awful. the spring rolls were disgusting and sub par and definitely not worth the $7 they charge for them. i don't know how they get away with charging so much for such horrible food and service.

i'm not sure what other folks are talking about. thisplacewas awful! i created an urbanspoon account just so i could make this review. i travel all over the metroplex and seek out thai restaurants wherever i go. i've eaten at the thai restaurant in the space before so i was hopeful that the food would at least be as good or better. i was very disappointed. first sign i should have just not bothered- it was 1pm and there was not a car in the parking lot nor another person eating at the restaurant. second- the yellow curry looked like it was out of a can. thick, lumpy, and generally gross. i pushed through the bad gut feeling and tried it. the curry literally tasted like cream of chicken canned gross. if you want thai, go a little further down harwood to thai jasmine. much better food and usually pretty packed.

charming, friendly, delicious.. my family and i decided to try out thai thippawan based off of the reviews here on urbanspoon. the main reason, though, was that they had vegetarian options and vegetarian corn patties which i love. theplacematched up to all of the positive review its been receiving. i was so very impressed by this place.. i actually realized driving up that this restaurant used to be my old dance studio :) but the atmosphere was very calming and inviting. we always had a full beverage in front of us (which is a plus in my book), and our server was just so sweet and helpful. they brought our tea out hot, and it was just so relaxing sipping some hot herbal tea and listening to the soothing thai inspired soundscape music above our heads. the corn patties were so damn delicious, and i actually loved their spring rolls (i have eaten spring rolls at several thai food places in the dfw and these were the only ones i've actually liked). my pad thai was well....yum. the best thing was that the owner took time out to personally greet us (and not the type of owner that asks you how the food was and then walks away..)..an owner that should be teaching other owners how to treat their customers. if your guests know you, then they are much more likely to return. andre did just that. i wish the best of luck to this establishment and will be coming back soon.

by far the best thia food we have ever had!!! everyone who works there makes you feel so welcome (same feeling you get when you go eat at someone's house)! we highly recommend checking thisplaceout!!

wow! the crab rangoon and rice dessert dish were incredible. the service and friendly atmosphere make thisplacea winner. plus you can pay with square!

best thai food around! the curry is excellent with the perfect amount of spice. be sure to get the homemade coconut ice cream with sticky rice for dessert. it is absolutely amazing! the service is awesome and the owner explained the intricacies of every entree. if you want homemade thai this is theplaceto go!

eat here now!. great thai restaurant! the ingredients are extremely fresh and the spice level is perfect. huge chunks of vegetables and basil, and the green curry is amazing. just the right balance of heat and flavor. the dishes are all very light, leaving you enough room for the must-have mango sticky rice. no matter where you live in the metroplex, it is definitely worth a trip to the mid-cities to check thisplaceout.
