always good. i like the bison short ribs or the burger

ideal bbq. my husband is the bbq king and it's one of his favorites. i on the otherhand could use a little bit more variety, but the what in the world am i doing in a place that specializes in bbq? but if you're in the mood for some good meat, this is the place!

bison is definitely the reason to come. the burger was more flavorful than the meat loaf. service was average. i would definitely go back when my next beer and lean burger craving hits so long as have a few extra dollars to burn.

steaks and burgers. this place is ridiculous. the steaks are incredible. the prime rib is some of the best i've ever had. it's only available friday & saturday after 4 or 5 and all day sunday. that's where my bad stuff to say ends. i've had various bison burgers, the prime rib, the bison kc strip (which was unexpectedly incredible), and the crab cakes which are great for a beef/bison place. get the onion rings as an appetizer, they are really good. they use extremely fresh ingredients in everything they do, the fries are awesome, the jalapenos are fresh sliced for each burger (or at least look and taste like they are). do yourself a favor and go try ted's. it's better than outback and the wait is far shorter.

great food, great selection.. omg!!! best sandwiches in town! and the price is surprisingly low!!!

service is usually good and the food is described well in the menu. just be careful about the steak and order it rarer than you traditionally would.

still hungry. dont order the crab cake they r 2 same for 1 then they had the nerve to bring 2 plates for me n my fiance to spilt it sorry but will never go back

:-). i went a couple weeks ago for my birthday dinner and had a great dinner. onion rings, steak, potatoes, greens and a drink. it was all wonderful!

hasn't disappointed (after 5 visits), and 20 miles each way.. having been a long time (well 2 years) bison lover after watching an exotic foods show, realizing the health benefits (people this stuff is lower in fat that some fish) and realizing it tastes much like the beef, which i gave up eating 15 years ago. i figured i'd give it a shot and haven't turned back since.

it was hard finding a place that has good bison burgers but ted's is that place. in fact i've been to 3 different places closer to my home (columbia, md) but found ted's to be worth the 20 mile drive (one-way) to crystal city/pentagon city in arlington for the best bison burgers i've ever experienced.

the burgers are thick. oddly enough, the first time i went the burger was huge, the other 4 times it had shrunk. they always ask "is this your first time here" maybe that's because they give you a big burger the first time to keep you hooked. :) i'm just speculating.

the bison burgers won't disappoint, the fries are homemade (fresh-cut) skin still on them, no added seasoning or coating, but they taste grrrrrreat. the lemonade is perfect too. always freshly squeezed and no matter what time of day i come the lemonade is consistently good. never too sweet, never too strong or watered down, always just right. but then again, the food in general has been very consistent. never a cold burger (or cold fries),

back to the bison burger, whatever health benefits are gained by picking bison due to its low low fat content, is surely negated by the bun they give you which is obviously thrown on a grill with butter to toast the bottom. that plus the fries makes up for that fat you would have saved yourself. but let's face it, we're not here for low fat content, we're here to grub down!

about the service, there has never been a time where i had poor service. in fact the 5 times i've been there, i was served by the same waiter twice, and another time the same waitress twice, and a third person once. each time they were great, pleasant nice attitudes never an issue. i typically go on saturday afternoons, and once on a thursday night about 7pm. those saturday afternoons the line was non-existent, i was immediately seated. the time i went on a thursday night, i waited for at least 30 minutes. so if you're not into waiting try the food out on a saturday afternoon first.

probably one of tally's best but portions can be small and the food can come to your table luke warm at best. you have to be careful with what you order - ask your sever what menu items deliver the larger portions, perhaps like the burgers???

service great but food mediocre. even though the service was great, the food was mediocre. the chef (cooks) are too heavy handed on the on the sauces and salt.

ted's is one of my favorite restaurants. i frequently dine there on trips, because it is consistently great. highlights include the bison burgers and steaks, bison chili, short ribs, chicken on a brick. if you hate paper straws, bring your own plastic. and always order your bison one step lower than your beef.

bison burgers are killer. ted's bison burgers are by far better than any beef burger i've ever had. much more flavor than your standard beef, without being dry.

i love their bison burger with guacamole and roasted anaheim peppers. only complaint is too much better on the bread... i'm sure that won't bother most people though.

the atmosphere was a bit overwhelming to enjoy a quiet dinner for 2...the food--ehhh ehhh- not at all lived up to my expectations. i had gotten a few people giving me feedback on ted's and finally got there to try it and have to say just ok....my salad was not the freshest i have ever had, but probably the most boring! my chicken a bit undercooked and tastless (i make much better at home) but, my drink was perfect!

bison burger was excellent!. i have been to ted's a few times and the food is always great. i haven't found the service to be all that great though. i can look past that to have a hot juicy bison burger. will go back.
