excellent. this restaurant.... excellent.
this restaurant offers a unique product. if you want to experiencebisonthis is the place. i travel a lot and groundbisonproduct is easy to find. but it seems rare to find steaks.
i had the demonico ribeye. yes it was $30. and it was on the rare side of medium rare. but this turned out to be perfect for this very lean meat. it was not heavily seasoned and had the texture of filet. the taste is distinct mild and surprisingly refined. i enjoyed it immensely. for sides i chose the kale salad and asparagus. both were perfect. the kale was young not tough or bitter and seasoned with a vinaigrette like corn salad.
i have no complaints at all. my server joe was outstanding.

after such a filling plate ofbisonand mashed potatoes, i thought i was too full for dessert. then, our waiter, grady, explained the strawberry shortcake. it’s a southern-style dessert with a sweet and crispy biscuit cut in half and stacked with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and topped with strawberries and house-made whipped cream. there was nothing short about this dessert.

came here after my little brother's graduation. possibly the most amazingbisonburger i've ever had. and my uncle raises buffalo, so i've had them fresh. my brother even liked it. and he likes no restaurants we go to.

why in this economy with so many restaurants closing does this mediocre one survive?. i have been going to ted's two or three times a year for many years. originally, thebisonburgers (unique several years ago but now a lot more available) were the draw -- and the pickle - oh yes, the pickles. (tonight we had to ask for them though. they were not automatically brought to the table and they were not refilled.)

however, that novelty soon wore off and i think the food has gone downhill - at the several locations i've tried.

tonight was no exception. my family is always the one going on someone else's suggestion to enjoy the other person's/people's company because i'd never choose ted's.

memorial day eve (sunday) - raining - but place was still packed with an hour's wait being quoted by the host/hostess. because we were a party of six, we had called ahead and therefore, our wait was reduced to only about 35 minutes.

we were seated and in all honesty, the waiter was really good. a mature man with a good "tableside manner" and effective. however, that couldn't overcome the issues with the food and the restaurant, in general.

we placed our order at about 6:45 - not 10 pm. however, several of the main course items were already sold out, including the turkey, the crab cake, etc. we then ordered anyway, including a couple of the children's meals. the waiter had to return to our table to tell us that the mac & cheese that a friend had ordered for her son was also sold out. this is all the child eats from that menu. how do you run out of one of the most popular children's items before 7 pm? for goodness sake!

food arrived slowly - in snippets and, with the exception of the fries, was pretty tasteless. my girls had some sliders and i tasted them -- concluding they must have grilled up some cardboard (maybe they ran out of ground beef too but were afraid of the mutiny that would ensue from customers who had waited an hour for a burger.)

i ordered a chopped salad. $10 or $11 for a bowl of way too wet iceberg and some embellishments. what - no salad spinners at ted's?

the shake we'd ordered for the three kids to split had sat on the bar for so long (ordered when we sat down but delivered when we were half way through dinner) that it was separated and odd . . . . my daughter, a chocoholic, refused it. that should be testimony enough.

i don't know but for my money, there are so many better options. i know i'm in the minority, given the crowds (although there was also a $10 coupon in the val-pak recently and lots of people were waving them tonight to pay down some of their checks) and the opening of more and more ted's.

outstanding. this was my second time here and it was as delicious as the first! the service is excellent, and the food is amazing. the burgers, both beef andbisonare absolutely amazing. tender, juicy, never mealy or dry, perfectly seasoned. the varieties are so awesome that it makes it hard to decide what to get! if you like iceberg wedges, ted's makes the best iceberg wedge in town! perfectly crisp and smokey bacon pieces, nicely ripened tomato chunks, crispy iceberg and a really good blue cheese dressing-simple and delicious. no one makes a wedge as good as ted's. i definitely recommend this place-it is awesome!

a few menu items are delicious, bit most are just average and overpriced. caesar's salad was awful. take it off the menu if you can't buy fresh greens.bisonhas an interesting texture, but they obviously really on heavy spices to make it palatable. good for out of town guests, but not a regular spot for locals until they improve basic menu options.

first visit to this chain. food is adequate but not special enough for the prices. expect to spend at least $40 for 2 people without alcoholic drinks. service was super slow so our food came out lukewarm.

we've hadbisonat other restaurants but our food here at teds' was nothing special. couldn't even tell the difference between the beef and the bison.

for the price, i'd rather go eat at bella bella's (italian). we probably won't be back.

bison.  ok i'll give it a go.  not worth the price and let's face it, isn't a buffalo just a wild cow?  better burgers at the steak and shake for my money.  service was good.  it's a neat looking place but i still can't recommend.  broccoli undercooked, mashed potatoes lumpy, meatloaf spice forward sobisonwas undetectable.

in the area on business, first time dining at ted's. mybisoncheeseburger was both tender and juicy. had it medium/medium rare range. fries were not crisp as i like them, either under cooked or had been sitting for while. service was good, not easy to find parking though.

good chain food. main reason i visit is for the bison, which is somewhat unique in the restaurant world. service was good and thebisonstrip cooked perfectly. good, reliable chow if you are in carnivore mode. nicely stocked bar as well.

even though it is a chain restaurant, this was one of our favorites in tallahassee! thebisonburgers are scrumptious, but my favorite is the cedar plank salmon! oh wow! and the pickles! salivating as i type.

i think ted’s has become large for several reasons but one has to be that the food is quite tasty. after having a phenomenalbisonburger the week before, me and my partner were craving another good one. we had a hard time finding a place that offered them, but teds had a full menu of burgers in which any could be made into abisonburger.
this one really hit the spot. the meat was of great quality and the cooks did it justice. cooked perfectly and it was really filling. i ordered a spicier version of their burgers and the japapenos, pepper jack cheese, onion straws, and other additions just added a great flavor to it as well.
i would definitely go back. it was great quality at a reaso
