over priced. the restaurant has a great atmosphere (they are also eco-friendly and don't use plastic). i went there once and i tried two different meals. the steak was okay, nothing spectacular that a regular home cook couldn't do. i also had the smoked salmon which was real dry. the portions were also relatively small.

first visit to this chain. food is adequate but not special enough for the prices. expect to spend at least $40 for 2 people without alcoholic drinks. service was super slow so our food came out lukewarm.

we've had bison at other restaurants but our food here at teds' was nothing special. couldn't even tell the difference between the beef and the bison.

for the price, i'd rather go eat at bella bella's (italian). we probably won't be back.

excellent service, but meal left something to be desired. steak and squash overcooked and very salty. far too much flavor enhancement on steak.

solid four. ted's is on the higher side of casual dining with an unpretentious vibe. sort of reminds me of places i've been out west, san antonio so many years ago. jyes, bison's on the menu.

love the space, the feeling. everyone was especially nice front to back. popped in this time for drinks and snacks so we sat at the bar ...all the way down unnecessarily for whatever reason open facing the line cooks, which was actually fun because they sort of indulged us with soft interest like sitting in with the chef. was fun. burger came to order spot on, good luck with that elsewhere.

been in a number of times passing through town over the years, sort of look forward to it. we need you in orlando.

bison.  ok i'll give it a go.  not worth the price and let's face it, isn't a buffalo just a wild cow?  better burgers at the steak and shake for my money.  service was good.  it's a neat looking place but i still can't recommend.  broccoli undercooked, mashed potatoes lumpy, meatloaf spice forward so bison was undetectable.

in the area on business, first time dining at ted's. my bison cheeseburger was both tender and juicy. had it medium/medium rare range. fries were not crisp as i like them, either under cooked or had been sitting for while. service was good, not easy to find parking though.

good chain food. main reason i visit is for the bison, which is somewhat unique in the restaurant world. service was good and the bison strip cooked perfectly. good, reliable chow if you are in carnivore mode. nicely stocked bar as well.

delish dinner of salmon, carrots, and kale salad. always one of my favorites. service is on par! booths are more private, not a fan of the open area dining....but the food is always good.

i have visited ted's a couple of times now and have left feeling full but not necessarily satisfied. as soon as you sit down, the waiter/waitress drops off a small bowl of "pickles". technically speaking, they are pickles but taste more like pickled cucumbers. they are not quite there yet. the burgers are under-seasoned and the buns absorb all of the remaining juices from the burger, making it dry.

the staff members are nice and attentive. however, they need to be less like the guy in the corner of the bar watching your every move and more like the parent of a group going out to the bars. make sure everyone is happy and has a full drink. don't lurk in the distance.

the ambiance is rustic and open. the use of dark wood paneling and choice of upholstery gives the feel of an old, western saloon.

even though it is a chain restaurant, this was one of our favorites in tallahassee! the bison burgers are scrumptious, but my favorite is the cedar plank salmon! oh wow! and the pickles! salivating as i type.

still good as ever. although the menu has changed a bit over the last seven or eight years, the food is always delicious and service has been good. there seems to be less turnover with servers compared to other restaurants, which i think is a good sign. only negative i can think of is the rolls served with entrees tend to be stale or dry compared to the ones brought out before the meal. why serve yesterday's rolls?! try the pecan-crusted trout and onion rings, they are great!

i think ted’s has become large for several reasons but one has to be that the food is quite tasty. after having a phenomenal bison burger the week before, me and my partner were craving another good one. we had a hard time finding a place that offered them, but teds had a full menu of burgers in which any could be made into a bison burger.
this one really hit the spot. the meat was of great quality and the cooks did it justice. cooked perfectly and it was really filling. i ordered a spicier version of their burgers and the japapenos, pepper jack cheese, onion straws, and other additions just added a great flavor to it as well.
i would definitely go back. it was great quality at a reaso
