food is quite good. not as "canadianized" chinese food as some other places. decor is nice but the long bench along the whole wall is uncomfortable as you can't use the back and eat at the same time. will be back.

we ordered take out from here tonight and it was excellent. we ordered shanghai noodles and vietnamese pork with spring rolls. sooo good. will be back for sure

food is so fresh and good!! the summer rolls are just wonderful ... and i love the spring rolls and vermicelli bowl. keep planning to be more adventurous but those two dishes are so good!!!

best vermicelli noodle bowl in the city. i wouldn't go so far as to say it is "way" better than any other 'bun' in the city, but it is the best. there is just the right amount of noodles, the fish sauce isn't too sweet, the spring rolls taste great, the protein are flavourful, and there are loads of vegetables. it is very well-balanced. also, be sure to try the pan-fried tofu.

good all around. the spring rolls and cold rolls were very good. also had the "sate beef soup" and tried some of my friend's "tom yum wonton soup," both were quite good.

i'll have to go back to try some more!

ho hum.... exceptionally friendly staff. however, i could accept a less friendly staff if the food was better.
which i was expecting judging by the comments of other reviewers. the food is passable but not great. if you are expecting a memorable thai cuisine experience it's not here. sorry folks.

this place is really good. have been there numerous times and have tried several things and have never been disappointed. tonight our family went. i had tom yum soup with chicken and shrimp, one son had the thai chicken pineapple fried rice and the rest had pad thai. always excellent. had a hard time deciding. of course started out with summer roll's. love that they have the thai basil and the peanut sauce. it's quick, they're friendly - the place is always packed which is always a good sign. looking forward to our next trip!

i recently visited summer roll restaurant this past week and i found out they are now serving a gluten free menu. which for me was a plus. a few of my other highlights about this restaurant was: friendly staff, clean environment, fresh food, and prices. i also was surprised how fast i received my meal that day. it came to me in about 15 minutes. i would highly recommend this place.

very good noodle bowls. my wife, daughter and i went there for lunch. my wife and i had an order of fresh salad rolls, and noodle bowls while my daughter had a chinese food combo. the food was very fresh, and there was plenty of it. i really enjoyed my meal here. the noodle bowls had perfect meat, noodle and spring roll ratios. this is important point because some places in this city give you very little meat or only one spring roll. my little girl's chinese food was good, too. the servers were very friendly and the food came quickly after we ordered. to top things off, the owner gave my daughter a lollipop. by my estimation, this is the best vietnamese food in saskatoon.

great gluten-free options!. yesterday i visited summer roll for the first time, and loved it! i've recently had to start a gluten-free diet, and going out to eat is has become rather tricky. the staff was extremely helpful in pointing out which items on the menu are gluten free. i enjoyed the vermicelli bowl with charbroiled pork loin and spring rolls. the summer rolls are great too! the service was fabulous, and we were in/out for lunch with time to spare.

tried the beef ball pho. it was tasty. the staff was friendly and the food came out promptly. the location was spacious and clean. would go back again and would recommend it.

best asian food in saskatoon. my friends and i go about once a month. the spring roll noodle bowl is filling, tastes amazing and is affordable. also, the iced tea is incredible.

best vermicelli bowl i've had in ages!!  fresh and tasty, and they give you large portions!  the staff is very friendly too.  thanks guys a++++

summer roll is my wife and i's go to place they are always welcoming took no time to give my order food was fast hot and very good and will be back with more friend and thank you for the little tooth pick guy

vegan-friendly restaurant. i've been to summer roll twice, both times with excellent food and customer service. and i was definitely more difficult than the average customer.

we asked for suggestions of vegan dishes, and tried the salt and pepper tofu, singapore noodles (with vegan substitutions), and the sweet and sour pork, but with tofu instead of pork. service was prompt, and despite our odd requests, staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, even going out of their way to inform us that the spring rolls we planned to order contained egg, and steering us away from dishes that used oyster or fish sauce.

would recommend for groups with special dietary needs.
