summer roll family restaurant

this place is really good. have been there numerous times and have tried several things and have never been disappointed. tonight our family went. i had tom yum soup with chicken and shrimp, one son had the thai chicken pineapple fried rice and the rest had pad thai. always excellent. had a hard time deciding. of course started out with summer roll's. love that they have the thai basil and the peanut sauce. it's quick, they're friendly - the place is always packed which is always agoodsign. looking forward to our next trip!

verygoodnoodle bowls. my wife, daughter and i went there for lunch. my wife and i had an order of fresh salad rolls, and noodle bowls while my daughter had a chinese food combo. the food was very fresh, and there was plenty of it. i really enjoyed my meal here. the noodle bowls had perfect meat, noodle and spring roll ratios. this is important point because some places in this city give you very little meat or only one spring roll. my little girl's chinese food was good, too. the servers were very friendly and the food came quickly after we ordered. to top things off, the owner gave my daughter a lollipop. by my estimation, this is the best vietnamese food in saskatoon.

summer roll is my wife and i's go to place they are always welcoming took no time to give my order food was fast hot and verygoodand will be back with more friend and thank you for the little tooth pick guy

best vermicelli in saskatoon! i've been a customer of theirs since they had their 33rd street location.goodservice with consistently great food. i usually go for the fried pork and two spring roll option to go with my vermicelli; their fried pork is delicious and what sets them apart. although i have not tried anything tmhere that i did not like. #1 vermicelli in saskatoon. i promise you won't be disappointed.

i liked the decor. service was friendly. food was good, but not mind blowing. my vietnamese coffee was good. we shared the spring rolls, which were tasty but not the best in the city. i had the singapore noodles, again,goodbut i prefer the singapore noodles at springroll restaurant better. my partner had the 20 piece chicken balls; they were good.

fast friendly service.goodfood. family loves this place. kids love their summer rolls with thai basil and peanut sauce. noodle bowls are reallygoodtoo. could use more meat and peanuts.

a go to place with quick service andgoodvietnamese bowls. i would like to see a few more options for the bowls with a bit more spice. lemongrass although tasty is pretty plain, a satay sauce would be a nice addition. yes there are hot sauce options on the table but i'm looking for a bit more complex flavor than siracha.

summer roll is always fantastic. the friendly and attentive staff never leave you wanting for a thing. the menu has agoodvariety that can please all. everything i have tried is always tasty and delicious. the rolls are some of my favourites in the city. love this place!!!

bad service but still worth it.. although there are somegoodservers at this restaurant the majority of the service is poor at best. buuuuut.... the summer rolls and peanut sauce are sogoodit doesn't matter! i've never ordered anything else so i cant speak for the rest of the menu but the pork summer rolls are delicious and the peanut sauce is absolutely mind-blowing. if you cant handle the service at least order take-out because these rolls are a must have.

top spot. since summer roll opened, it has become one of our favorite places to eat, either for a night out or to pick up for a night in. the food is always spectacular, and the service is always prompt, and very personable. often, when we stay there to eat, our server will recommend different dishes that she thinks we will like, or alternative ways to order our meals, and her suggestions always turn out to be delicious. they know what they are doing at summer roll. everyone who i have told to try it now also eats there all the time. it is addictive...in agoodway : )

yum!. came here after the collapse of taste legend, looking for somegoodasian food. very glad we came!goodfood, reasonable prices. we will be back!

best vermicelli noodle bowls in town!. whenever i go here i get the vermicelli noodle bowls with spring rolls and lemongrass chicken, and they are amazing. one day i will order something different, but for now they are toogoodto pass up on!

awful service. i have been to summer roll a couple of times due to the fact that it is close to my residence. the three times i have went to pick up the food there has been a ridiculous wait time. they tell you on the phone how long it will be and when it should be picked up. today is the last time. they told me it would be ready by 5:50pm and i went in according to that time. at 6:10pm they asked me which order i was waiting for. i told them and they still had not even started making my food. i called in the order at 5:25pm. this is ridiculous. another person had been waiting for over an hour when they were supposed to pick up there food and there were still 3 people in front of me waiting. i told them not to bother making the food and i left. they have definitely lost a customer and i will share my experience. there food is not even thatgoodwhere they can be lacking in there service. i thought it would be nice to have a restaurant close to my house but it is quicker to order anywhere else in the city and go pick it up. i could have been waiting there for another hour. off to nutana café from now on.

highly recommended. i come here often and the staff is always polite. the bowls are all delicious and i've also tried some stir fry dishes that were excellent. the portions are also quite fair. my only gripe is that the owner will often try to convince to eat your food in a certain way. this is likely because she feel's that if you eat their food in the non traditional fashion you'll get a bad impression. otherwise the summer roll experience is just asgoodas tien veitnam, tien offering slightly better value from my experience.

totally worth it. when going to school findinggoodfood at agoodprice can be tricky business. once i found this place it became a staple in my weekly diet. wicked friendly staff, prompt service and great variety. pick up was ready in no time, same goes for eating in. why go to edo or any other sweat shop fast food rackets, when you can get much better food and not contribute to corporate america.
anytime i am in town this place will get my business.
