poor service, but good food. service is absolutely terrible but food is fantastic. this is definitely the place to go if you want to just pick-up your order and take it home. if you are dining in, be prepared to be completely ignored by the servers and don't expect to see anyone smiling or making eye contact with you. i almost feel like every time i go there, i am being discriminated against for being caucasian. they seem to be very friendly and happy when vietnamese people go in, but as soon as they see a caucasian (or someone of any other race) they will ignore you and treat you like you don't matter.

hooked on summer roll. the service is very friendly and fast. the food is fantasic!!!! i can't say anything more, just try for yoursef. i have told friends and family & they all have been raving about their great meal they had.

best in town. i love asian food, but was just at summer roll yesterday with my husband, and i think we stumbled onto the best! the summer rolls, and spring rolls are the best in the city hands down. we then tried the pad thia chicken and shrimp...awesome is the best word. i would say, that this is my new spot for anything asian. try it if you haven't, or you are missing out on a wonderful cooks work.... and fast, everything came in minutes....awesome

great service and excellent food. ( described in one sentence )

me and my colleagues decided to go there for lunch on a busy friday. this place was like a hidden gem. i'm actually not comfortable trying out new places as some times i end up ordering the wrong stuff but at this place the person who was taking my order actually consulted me on what to get. the owner was so sweet as she was on the floor assisting customers and employees. she actually taught us how to eat the spring roll properly, how to use the dips and where to place the basil leaves.
i would recommend this restaurant to everyone, families or single.
the food is healthy and clean. has a unique taste to it.
it's a 5/5 in my books.

best vietnamese chinese and thai cuisine in the city. i am always impressed with the great customer service, warm inviting atmosphere and quality and flavour of my meals here. everything has always been fantastic and quick. i love the cold summer rolls they really are the best and the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl is wonderful as well.

great food and service!. my husband and i ate at the summer roll restaurant for lunch today. it was probably the best vietnamese food i have had in saskatoon, the staff was very friendly and service was great!! i would definately recommend to anyone looking for a great vietnamese noodle bowl. i can't wait to go back and try something else with the entire family.

great restaurant overall! .... great restaurant overall!

got a bunch of food that the friendly staff recommended and was not disappointed. big portions for what you pay and everything was delicious.

the ginger beef and pad thai were both amazing as entrées, and the rolls were a fantastic start. also give the iced tea a try.

i will definitely bring my friends here- the food comes quickly and the restaurant is nice and open. great meal!

a refreshing difference!. what a great surprise! a wonderful little restaurant! very fresh and tasty dishes! fantastic service in a welcoming atmosphere!
happened upon this jewel two weeks ago and brought the family back this weekend. everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and the great service! we will see you again real soon.

great food and great service. my husband and i(anita) came upon summer roll by accident on opening day almost a year ago. since that day, we have brought all our family and dont miss a chance on letting everyone we know about our wonderful find. the food is fantastik, the service just as great, but the staff is amazing and make us feel like we are at home. so if you like vietnamese food, take the time to go and visit summer roll. rest assured, it will be a great dining experience. we highly recommend it.

my new favourite vietnamese restaurant in saskatoon! the summer rolls are a must-have; i get them every time!! the prices are fair and the service is fast and great, such a warm, welcoming family! yum!

average at best..went to summer roll with my husband last night for dinner.. ordered deep fried wontons which clearly came from a box, frozen and tasted terrible and bland for $6.95. i had the spicy chicken noodle soup and it was mediocre. my husband had the pork and spring roll noodle bowl which he said was 'just okay'. we won't be returning to summer roll based on the prices and items we were served. much better vietnamese and thai food can be found at other places in the city and for less money and better flavor.

this is a great place to grab excellent vietnamese food at a good price. it's nice that the north end of the city has an excellent place for pho. every item i've tried has been full of flavor and delicious.
