summer roll family restaurant

i recently visited summerrollrestaurant this past week and i found out they are now serving a gluten free menu. which for me was a plus. a few of my other highlights about this restaurant was: friendly staff, clean environment, fresh food, and prices. i also was surprised how fast i received my meal that day. it came to me in about 15 minutes. i would highly recommend this place.

very good noodle bowls. my wife, daughter and i went there for lunch. my wife and i had an order of fresh salad rolls, and noodle bowls while my daughter had a chinese food combo. the food was very fresh, and there was plenty of it. i really enjoyed my meal here. the noodle bowls had perfect meat, noodle and springrollratios. this is important point because some places in this city give you very little meat or only one spring roll. my little girl's chinese food was good, too. the servers were very friendly and the food came quickly after we ordered. to top things off, the owner gave my daughter a lollipop. by my estimation, this is the best vietnamese food in saskatoon.

great gluten-free options!. yesterday i visited summerrollfor the first time, and loved it! i've recently had to start a gluten-free diet, and going out to eat is has become rather tricky. the staff was extremely helpful in pointing out which items on the menu are gluten free. i enjoyed the vermicelli bowl with charbroiled pork loin and spring rolls. the summer rolls are great too! the service was fabulous, and we were in/out for lunch with time to spare.

best asian food in saskatoon. my friends and i go about once a month. the springrollnoodle bowl is filling, tastes amazing and is affordable. also, the iced tea is incredible.

vegan-friendly restaurant. i've been to summerrolltwice, both times with excellent food and customer service. and i was definitely more difficult than the average customer.

we asked for suggestions of vegan dishes, and tried the salt and pepper tofu, singapore noodles (with vegan substitutions), and the sweet and sour pork, but with tofu instead of pork. service was prompt, and despite our odd requests, staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, even going out of their way to inform us that the spring rolls we planned to order contained egg, and steering us away from dishes that used oyster or fish sauce.

would recommend for groups with special dietary needs.

up until today i would've said they were our favorite "go to" restaurant. they gave us a time of pickup for 45- 1hr. we showed up an hr later to pick up our food and it wasn't ready, we waited an extra 30 min, no apologies and when we got home, the order was wrong. our steamed broccoli had 6 pieces in it when i had asked for the large size, our sweet and sour pork had 3 whole pieces of meat and the rest was vegetables and little bits of batter. i always get veggies added on my pad thai and there were none, and when i called to speak to them about all of this, they did not listen at all, completely argued that there were veggies even though i was starring straight at the dish. i didn't feel like arguing anymore so wished them a happy new year without me in it. new years resolution, to not eat at summerrollanymore.

best vermicelli in saskatoon! i've been a customer of theirs since they had their 33rd street location. good service with consistently great food. i usually go for the fried pork and two springrolloption to go with my vermicelli; their fried pork is delicious and what sets them apart. although i have not tried anything tmhere that i did not like. #1 vermicelli in saskatoon. i promise you won't be disappointed.

summerrollis always fantastic. the friendly and attentive staff never leave you wanting for a thing. the menu has a good variety that can please all. everything i have tried is always tasty and delicious. the rolls are some of my favourites in the city. love this place!!!

fantastic food, wonderful hospitality....summerrollrestaurant. this restaurant has the friendliest atmosphere, the food is so fresh. spring rolls with peanut sauce is a must try, i had not tried this item until recently, they are delicious, fresh, healthy and make you want more.
if you want to experience meal of thai and oriental food.....you must go to this restaurant !!

top spot. since summerrollopened, it has become one of our favorite places to eat, either for a night out or to pick up for a night in. the food is always spectacular, and the service is always prompt, and very personable. often, when we stay there to eat, our server will recommend different dishes that she thinks we will like, or alternative ways to order our meals, and her suggestions always turn out to be delicious. they know what they are doing at summer roll. everyone who i have told to try it now also eats there all the time. it is addictive...in a good way : )

awful service. i have been to summerrolla couple of times due to the fact that it is close to my residence. the three times i have went to pick up the food there has been a ridiculous wait time. they tell you on the phone how long it will be and when it should be picked up. today is the last time. they told me it would be ready by 5:50pm and i went in according to that time. at 6:10pm they asked me which order i was waiting for. i told them and they still had not even started making my food. i called in the order at 5:25pm. this is ridiculous. another person had been waiting for over an hour when they were supposed to pick up there food and there were still 3 people in front of me waiting. i told them not to bother making the food and i left. they have definitely lost a customer and i will share my experience. there food is not even that good where they can be lacking in there service. i thought it would be nice to have a restaurant close to my house but it is quicker to order anywhere else in the city and go pick it up. i could have been waiting there for another hour. off to nutana café from now on.

family favorite. we've been coming almost weekly to summerrollfor months now and are never disappointed. friendly fast service, quality ingredients (especially crisp greens n sprouts), great value. our requests for slight alterations to dishes always well accommodated. only improvement would be option of at least one beer in bottles, not cans.

highly recommended. i come here often and the staff is always polite. the bowls are all delicious and i've also tried some stir fry dishes that were excellent. the portions are also quite fair. my only gripe is that the owner will often try to convince to eat your food in a certain way. this is likely because she feel's that if you eat their food in the non traditional fashion you'll get a bad impression. otherwise the summerrollexperience is just as good as tien veitnam, tien offering slightly better value from my experience.

summerrollis delicious! very fresh, big portions, amazing service, great flavours, and they treat you like family and are so nice, i highly recommend it and will be back soon!!
