snoopy's pier

seafood was pretty good, little pricey. really liked the corn bake, sitting outside and watching the sunset was nice. fast service, cold beer, started to fill up as we were leaving. i've never really been a big fan of "order at the register" joints and it was cash only - really not a big fan of that. but, staff was courteous, food was fast and hot, and a good experience overall.

the only thing better than snoopys is scoopys. best sandwiches in corpus

went there this friday. after hearing my girlfriend talk about how great it is. i was happy i went food was awesome

we went there this past friday. called into work me and the misses didn't want to be stuck in an antonio

it looks tacky and touristy, and it probably is, but i hardly cared. we sat in a comfortable dining room, enjoying a pleasant breeze while we waited for our food.

the view is amazing. we like to sit outside and eat as the view is amazing. the food is just average and pricy for what you get. you order at the counter and wait for your name to be called and then you pick your food up from the counter. take cash, since they do not take credit cards or checks, which is very inconvienent. it is still waaay better than laguna reef, which is just horrible.

best seafood in all of corpus.. i ordered their dinner combo, it was delicious. my favorite was their fried fish and oysters. i highly recommend snoopy's for their great tasting food and awesome view.

this place is our yearly tradition! we love it so much. fried fish with those awesome hush puppies are out of this world.

cash only, but they have an atm. the grilled shrimp wasn't worth it, and wasn't spicy. the fried shrimp was good. everyone loved the fried mahi, and the crab stuffed jalapeños.

in my opinion the best corpus resturant... pros- -location is away from areas with high tourist traffic -if dining in the evening you get to watch the sunset on the bay -foods was delicious (i got fish and chips) -ice cream shop next door if you have a sweet tooth cons- - only accepts cash - wait time after ordering food can take a bit - can run out of items on the menu, if the plate was in high demand that day

this place is awesome. best freakin fish and chips ever! kinda had to wait a while but the place was busy (it's good so you can imagine why). totally worth the wait, especially if you're in good company:)

a family tradition. we come to eat at snoopy's every year after spending some time camping at pins. over time, we have developed an affection for the consistency both of quality of food and atmosphere. we know what to expect and look forward to our experience. the food is always fresh. the fried combo (amberjack, oysters, shrimp and fries) is unbeatable. (hey, we are on vacation- what do we care about our cholesterol??) family members have tried just about everything on the menu from shrimp creole to a hamburger and have loved all of it. the atmosphere is a big draw for us. is it fine dining? well, no but that is not why we go to snoopy's. we go to eat great casual food in a laid back atmosphere. when they call out our name because our jalapenos are ready... can't beat that moment (or the taste- never found another stuffed jalapeno that great!)

try a different place.... a lot of the locals come here because they know how to order. stay away from anything sold by the pound because it will come with the head attached, guts and fins. this puts more money into snoopy's pocket since they are serving you less food for your top dollar. going fried is a good and safe option. we ordered boiled shrimp by the pound and when they arrived they stepped off the plate and shook our hand. the fried shrimp and fish were good. the atmosphere was great, especially at sunset sitting on the deck. they do have a bit of seagull problem but have managed to keep most of them at bay while your eat using fishing line fences. prices are $2 a plate higher then the posted menu on the internet so be prepared to pay a bit more if using that as a price guide. i would recommend trying out doc's seafood next door and skipping this black spotted dog altogether.

not impressed. we went because everyone said "you have to eat at snoopy's" - sitting outside is ok but it's not the prettiest area and the standard fried mess of seafood was nothing special. overall it was a letdown. scoopy's (next door for icecream) was what we left talking about - which may be more about the june heat than the dining experience.

dine with the pelicans!. great seafood right on the water, boats pull up and folks walk in, gets busy, since the word has gotten out, but food comes pretty fast. i love the big battered fish and chips. great breading and big flaky pieces that i douse in malt vinegar. the fish is so good. their slaw with no zip is the only lackluster thing on the menu, but they say it's not a side, it's a free garnish when you ask for something besides slaw. they do have lots of other great sides and the fries are crispy!

good for fried seafood. a little over-cooked, but tasty. great service though.
