ft. worth mobile. heard the hype, believed it, so disappointed. fourteen in our group, three fourths of the food went in the trash. out of oysters & crab early saturday evening, really ? greasy fish, chewy shrimp. the one good item .... the jalapeño poppers! the staff wasgreatas well.

why aren't there more like this?!!. this is the only place that has a deck on the water in corpus!! the fish is delicious and fresh, the beer nice and cold, and the atmosphere nice relaxed for all to enjoy. it's a treat for anyone just looking to have somegreattipical seafood fare, kickback a few brewskies, and enjoy some quality time while watching an amazing sunset. by the way, bring cash!! they don't take plastic. they have an atm but it's going to cost you.
and in the case you don't want seafood, scoopy's has some kickin' sandwiches and salads for those watching their figure.

oldguy59. go back about 2 years the fried fish was better the fried shrimp was the best and the boiled shrimp basket was awesome basket filled with shrimp heads still on tons of flavor but the mass of people every weekend has changed thisgreatplace and now quality is way down and prices are up

i agree with previous posters, it’s somewhat refined fried food, right on the water. apparently they harvest their own shrimp — not sure why you’d want food that fresh fried, but hey it’s a texas thing.greatfamily spot. a bit on the pricey side for a fish shack but the locals swear by it. it gets a full point for location alone.

snoopy's is a popular lunch restaurant for locals and visitors alike! a casual restaurant, it hasgreatfried seafood and picnic style tables out by the water. the restaurant is located right on the inter-coastal waterway, so it is nice to enjoy your lunch while watching boats travel up and down the waterway!

we visit snoopy's fairly often with family and friends. the atmosphere is relaxed but upbeat and friendly. the seafood is great. i pretty much only eat seafood there, but they don't offer much else. so go hungry for some good seafood.  

there's an "inside" dining area, but the best place to sit is along the pier. you can enjoy the water and sunset while visiting with friends. this place is probably good for a quick lunch, but its strength is in its atmosphere that invites relaxation and conversation with friends.

great fried food. they also have a rice dish that is amazing andgreatfor hot summer days. nice place to watch the sunset. they have their ice cream shop right next door.greatplace for the family

great views of the bay and passing boats, but you pay for it. $$$$.greatstaff! love the crab stuffed jalapeños and corn bake. they finally take credit cards, and your going to need one, as their prices have gone through the roof. the fish and chips is great.

fantastic fried fish! live an hr away and sometimes make the drive just for their food. fun atmosphere andgreatservice!

great place to have a bite to eat after a long day in the sun. sunsets on the patio are really beautiful and watching the boats come in with my kiddos over dinner is good fun! we have had fried and non fried options and both were very tasty. it's about $10 per person with a drink (canned sodas only). refills on the ice tea is a good deal. batter is just like long john silvers but very very good. i think this place isgreatand will be back every time we are at the beach.

first time at snoopy's. we really enjoyed our meal at snoopy's, but it is a bit over priced. the fish was really tender and tasty. the fries were great! if you go there bring cash or they have an atm. they have agreatfireplace in the center of the restaurant that was very cozy. if we ever are in padre island again we will eat there again.

great evening spot. we love to go here in the evening, sit out on the deck, have somegreatfresh seafood and watch the boats come in and the sun go down. note: sometimes the line is long, but it goes quickly and is well worth it. cash only!

snoopy's is a favorite!. had agreatlunch at snoopy's today with my daughter visiting for the weekend. it is one of our favorite lunch spots especially when the weather is so beautiful! erynn loves their boiled shrimp and hushpuppies and i splurge on a fried fish sandwich. the fish is always fresh, flaky and lightly fried! thanks snoopy's!

first disappointment in years. every time i go to corpus christi (and i do so for about 13 years) every time on the "must do" list is to eat at snoopy's. my order was always the same. first goes theirgreatcrab-meat stuffed jalapenos. then their fish and chips i considered the best in texas (and beyond) and recommended it to everyone - it used to be 3 big pieces of white fish, so tasty and well done, rarely greasy, i enjoyed them tremendously. thatswhy i was so unpleasently surprised this weekend: the rebuilt menu features now "6 pieces of fish" - but the fish pieces are tiny, getting lost in all that extra breadding. disappointed i barely found any fish in there. it is still the same old nice place for a romantic dinner. but if my next visit will yield the same unsatisfactory fishy-meaty experience, i may start searching for a replacement destination. mister snoopy, please reconsider your decision!

disappointed. snoopy's for years has been the first place we eat at when coming down to the beach, but after this last time we may be changing that. to me, they have always been a little pricey, but for fresh tasting shrimp it's been worth it. when we went down this past may though, the shrimp was tough and chewy and the fish was extremely greasy. i was so disappointed after spending $60 for 4 of us to eat, and having to throw most of it away because it was just too gross to eat. the atmosphere isgreatand they continue to improve on that aspect but now they need to improve on food that they apparently have let slide down the drain.

we ate there this past saturday for lunch. we all got the fried shrimp and added a dozen hush puppies. the shriimp tasted fresh and very good with its light crispy coating on it. we've been coming to the area for the past 18 years and snoopy's is always on our list to eat at.

over rated and under friendly. just got back from having a late lunch early dinner and was not impressed from the getgo with this place that is so highly rated by various review sites. i'm not sure if the old guy who took our order was the owner but he sure acted like it and treated us like he was irriated that we came to eat there. of course i "assumed" this place took plastic since i have been to 3rd world country places to eat that do but nope he scowed and barked at us that it was cash only...really??? ok...not off to a good start i thought to myself as i considered taking my family and business next door to doc's (way better on all levels) but since we ate there yesterday and are here on a mini vacation i went against my better judgement and stayed. we ordered fish and chips, grill cheese for the kiddo and a strawberry salad. the salad was good however not the portion you would expect for $5.95. i wish i had read the reviews before coming to this place because the food is not bad but not anything to write home about either and it took a long time even though we were there when it was not very busy. trust me on this one and do yourself a favor and stop when you get to doc's if you wantgreat"friendly" service and even better food in large portions.
hope this helps some unsuspecting visitor from being treated like crap and paying too much for an under portioned meal.
