great views of the bay and passing boats, but you pay for it. $$$$. great staff! love the crab stuffed jalapeños and corn bake. they finally take credit cards, and your going to need one, as their prices have gone through the roof. the fish and chips is great.

family tradition worth starting/keeping. went to snoopy's a year after they opened, the first time. although we've since moved, my parents live on n. padre, and a visit to snoopy's is a mandatory part of every family visit. while my family has been (joyfully!) all over the menu, i haven't been able to get beyond ordering a double order of fried oysters every time, in all the years i've been going. maybe this year........

the catch of the day is always excellent, and in the winter, their central heating system is very cozy. well, worth going to for family, on a date, or any time. this is one of those places the locals don't tell visitors about it's so good!!!

hands down my favorite place on the island maybe all of corpus. best fish and chips i have ever had, shrimp sandwich is off the hook, specials are always excellent, heck even their hamburgers are very good. honestly how can you complain eating a pound of boiled shrimp ( that are at a fair price) and drinking a cold carona looking out across the bay. simply the best imo

fantastic fried fish! live an hr away and sometimes make the drive just for their food. fun atmosphere and great service!

has really gone downhill since we ate here in 2011. frozen shrimp here in the heart of shrimp country?? greasy battered fish aka long john silver. and where did they such small oysters? our friends have eaten there several times in 2012 and wondered what has happened to one of our favorite ole time eating places. we will not be back.

i don't get it. the food is decent but not great. the place is rundown and they don't even accept credit cards---yes you have to pay cash! they even have an atm machine on site but you have to pay fees to get your money.

there is no service because you walk up to a window to place your order and go pick up the food yourself when they call your order. the menu is confusing at best and usually it's dead here.

yet the locals swear that it's the best thing since sliced bread. i don't get it.

food was awful! the line was long so we figured we had a sure bet on good food. wrong!!!! we ordered fish n chips, and what we got tasted more like fish mcnuggets!!! terrible, couldn't have been worse. if you are in front of this place, do a 180 and run fast and long (set a record time if you can!) i am an avid seafood lover and this place was definitely substandard.

just the same after 18 years! yum!. july 29, 2013. visiting from plano/frisco. lunch. ordered: fish sandwich. 18 years ago, this was the first place i'd ever tried a fish sandwich. still as good as ever! tender and crispy battered fish. fyi this is a cash only restaurant, but there's an atm on site. not sure why the technology gap...prices enough to cover. will definitely return!

great place to have a bite to eat after a long day in the sun. sunsets on the patio are really beautiful and watching the boats come in with my kiddos over dinner is good fun! we have had fried and non fried options and both were very tasty. it's about $10 per person with a drink (canned sodas only). refills on the ice tea is a good deal. batter is just like long john silvers but very very good. i think this place is great and will be back every time we are at the beach.

prices rising, portions shrinking, staff... what staff?? frozen everything! shiner is considered "imported" here!

great fish (light and crunchy), oysters fat and sweet and not over cooked. fries were homemade! we'll be back!

poor customer service, employees eating while working behind the counter. very rude employees, i eat at snoopys all the time but my last visit was horrible experience so not going any more.

love,love,love, this place. under 25$ for lunch for two and so delicious !!! awesome, funny and friendly guy that runs the place, also a fun atmosphere for the family.

dog-gone good!. if it's your first time here you gotta look under the jfk bridge to find the place. easy to spot the name on the roof when flying over on your dog house, plane or car (on a good day, traffic really does fly over that bridge). if the weather is nice, pick any umbrella covered table on the outside deck overlooking the bay for the best seat in the house.

you will see a wide variety of customer types here from well oiled tourists to ruddy skinned coast grizzlies all coming to fuel up on gulf coast favorites and a cold beer or three.

fish, shrimp, oysters and more. go for your favorites and you too will have a snoopy grin from floppy ear to floppy ear!
