ft. worth mobile. heard the hype, believed it, so disappointed. fourteen in our group, three fourths of thefoodwent in the trash. out of oysters & crab early saturday evening, really ? greasy fish, chewy shrimp. the one good item .... the jalapeño poppers! the staff was great as well.

love this place!!. whenever i am in corpus this is a place that i have to eat at. thefoodis wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing.

too long of a wait. we waited for 45 minutes... thefoodis like appetizer foods that you eat while drinking beers with your food, thefoodtasted good, but it is only small size portions, this is no place for lunch or dinner with family... i took my family to eat there and we spent $74.00 and we ended up having to buy a box of chicken on the way home cause the kids were still hungry... and no my kids are not fat... this an outdoors eating place, go after 8:00pm or the sun really gets you

i agree with previous posters, it’s somewhat refined fried food, right on the water. apparently they harvest their own shrimp — not sure why you’d wantfoodthat fresh fried, but hey it’s a texas thing. great family spot. a bit on the pricey side for a fish shack but the locals swear by it. it gets a full point for location alone.

other than being high priced and getting a small amount of food, we actually enjoy this place every once in a while.

it seems thefoodis of quality, so it makes up for the small portions and high prices.

nice view but they serve captain d's likefoodat red lobster prices. i didnt enjoy and would not return. waste of money. the good reviews are given by people who dont get to eat goodfoodregularly.

this place is under the intracoastal causeway. we try to always stop here when we are headed to the national seashore. thefoodis incredibly fresh and reasonably priced in comparison to most of your island dining choices. it never disappoints. the menu primarily consist of fried foods but they have a delicious spicy shrimp over rice with veggies option. if your kids don't like shrimp or fish their only options are a burger or a girl cheese! however do your best to get them to try your fish or shrimp because it's far different from what you get out of yellow bag from the grocery store freezer! our family of five with stuff for under $60 including drinks & one beer.

three cheers for snoopy's. i was surf fishing with my son & daughter-in-law and after a wonderful morning my son drove to snoopy's pier for a late lunch. they ordered a "combo" for me.
when i saw the plate of fish,shrimp,oysters,fries and cole slaw, i said "i can't eat all of this". i made a liar out of myself. thefoodwas so well prepared and delicious that i did not leave a crumb on my plate.
we ate outside and i really enjoyed the experience. my son told me that they eat there every time
they go fishing. we sure could use a snoopy's in delaware.

i don't get it. thefoodis decent but not great. the place is rundown and they don't even accept credit cards---yes you have to pay cash! they even have an atm machine on site but you have to pay fees to get your money.

there is no service because you walk up to a window to place your order and go pick up thefoodyourself when they call your order. the menu is confusing at best and usually it's dead here.

yet the locals swear that it's the best thing since sliced bread. i don't get it.

descent food, poor service. i always enjoy thefoodhere, we don't eat fried foods often but this an exception. i always try to call ahead and check the catch of the day to make sure it's worth it. kids always enjoy the view of the water from the dining area. my only complaints are they don't take plastic and the staff all hate their jobs, fortunately you don't have to deal with them very often. worth trying

disappointed. snoopy's for years has been the first place we eat at when coming down to the beach, but after this last time we may be changing that. to me, they have always been a little pricey, but for fresh tasting shrimp it's been worth it. when we went down this past may though, the shrimp was tough and chewy and the fish was extremely greasy. i was so disappointed after spending $60 for 4 of us to eat, and having to throw most of it away because it was just too gross to eat. the atmosphere is great and they continue to improve on that aspect but now they need to improve onfoodthat they apparently have let slide down the drain.

we ate there this past saturday for lunch. we all got the fried shrimp and added a dozen hush puppies. the shriimp tasted fresh and very good with its light crispy coating on it. we've been coming to the area for the past 18 years and snoopy's is always on our list to eat at.

over rated and under friendly. just got back from having a late lunch early dinner and was not impressed from the getgo with this place that is so highly rated by various review sites. i'm not sure if the old guy who took our order was the owner but he sure acted like it and treated us like he was irriated that we came to eat there. of course i "assumed" this place took plastic since i have been to 3rd world country places to eat that do but nope he scowed and barked at us that it was cash only...really??? ok...not off to a good start i thought to myself as i considered taking my family and business next door to doc's (way better on all levels) but since we ate there yesterday and are here on a mini vacation i went against my better judgement and stayed. we ordered fish and chips, grill cheese for the kiddo and a strawberry salad. the salad was good however not the portion you would expect for $5.95. i wish i had read the reviews before coming to this place because thefoodis not bad but not anything to write home about either and it took a long time even though we were there when it was not very busy. trust me on this one and do yourself a favor and stop when you get to doc's if you want great "friendly" service and even betterfoodin large portions.
hope this helps some unsuspecting visitor from being treated like crap and paying too much for an under portioned meal.

just so-so. this restuarant was highly recommended by friends, so we decided to try it. thefoodwas just average and the place just didn't resonate. apparently, this joint is overrated. we won't be back.
