just moved to neigborhood. i am so pleased with how friendly and nice the owner and staff is! very polite & positive energy! pizza was amazing! i will continue to support this pizza shop! :-)

best pizza in town. we have been going to slice since it opened almost 2 years ago; and have been weekly regulars ever since! they use the best ingredients in their pizza, hoagies, salads, etc!! and they strive for perfection to put out an excellent product! rico & joe sure know how to make the customers happy!!!! we continue to wish you both the best of luck!!! and always tell our friends to try your menu!!! glad to see you won recent awards on the radio and tv for your pizza!!! joyce & john

best pizza ever! love this place. slice is my favorite pizza in the city! this place is fantastic. my favorite is their margherita pizza. and the florentine. and the italian hoagie. and the steak and cheese. ok, everything on the menu is delicious. really you can't go wrong here. add to that the warm, friendly, welcoming service and a shop right on broadway that is so inviting and smells so good you could hang out there all day...you'll be a customer for life. their delivery is quick too, even when they are super busy. seriously, these guys are amazing, give them a try you won't regret it!

super salty pizza. if you like salty pizza this is the place for you. i did not like it at all, pizza was tasteless and very salty. i ordered the ginormous pizza with all the toppngs and found it had no taste. i compare it to fiori's which i hate also because it is so salty. i tried it because it was in my backyard, and has won local awards, but i am a person who puts salt on nothing, so i did not like it.

i love slice. we probably eat it once a week. their pizza and cheese sticks are delish and so fresh. their salads are great also!

really good pizza.... i decided to give this place a try after reading some of the other reviews. i ordered an italian hoagie and a big lou specialty pizza. both were very good. the italian dressing has a nice tang. the pizza is a thin crust, baked crisp. the toppings were well proportioned with the cheese and sauce. i picked up my order but was impressed by the cleanliness of the place inside.

a nice pie. loved the crust. italian hoagie was excellent- but i wasn't a huge fan of the steak used on the hoagies featuring steak (gonzo). i will be back for the pie and italian hoagies. great quality.

a friend and i passed through pittsburgh on a road trip. man, are we glad we stopped by here. staff was super pleasant and the pizza was outstanding. if you can manage to scale the hills to get up to this place you won't be disappointed. if i'm ever in pittsburgh again i'll be coming back for sure.

great!!!. this place is fantastic! i know that i will probably be crucified for saying this, but it reminds me a lot of fiori's pizza. the only difference is there are many more different toppings to choose from.

get a pie with bacon and artichoke, you won't be disappointed. their cheestake with the jalepeno's is the best cheesesteak that i have had in pittsburgh!

call early if you want it delivered! on the weekends i have tried for delivery only to be told that they can't deliver because they are booked through the night.....i got takeout instead!

in the saturated pizza market of beechview and surrounding communities, slice offers a new and unique pizza to the area. my first pizza was the athena, a crafted pizza that was light and had exceptionally fresh toppings. highly recommended. in addition, byob completed an already great experience. outside dining is available. grab a bottle of wine and enjoy a slice or two...

stopped by yesterday afternoon to give it a try, had the pizza and it was one of the best i have had inthe city, i will definitle be back for more

awesome.. ok it's sunday night looking for place to eat. my son wanted to go to casa rasta but it was closed. he had heard of this place so we went in.it was after 8 and they closed at 8. but they said no prob. so we entered five of us. two vegetarians three meat eaters. we order three different pizzas. all were awesome. the crust was thin and crispy. not soft and doughy. the sauce seasoned just right and the fresh veggies were so great!!!. this place is out our way as we live inwhitehall. but we will go out of our way to go back.

when you walk in you might think it's a little grungy, but it is anything but. fantastic food, and an extremely kind staff. we asked for a cup of water and were given free bottles of water by the manager. i highly recommend.
