thisplacehas the best pie in town, hands down! the crust is perfectly cooked on an oven stone. the wife & i ordered just a pesto pizza w/grilled chicken, no sundried tomatoes, no spinach. it was perfect. what makes their pesto pizza so damn good is that they make their own pesto in house! what other pizzaplacegoes to lengths like that? we also split the luca samich, which reminded us more of a bistro/trattoria-style sammy instead of the same, boring pizza shop hoagie. the in-house made balsamic dressing & the breadworks roll just made the whole thing perfect. if you haven't tried thisplaceyet, do so! you won't be disappointed at all!

tonight was the first night the ole lady & i ordered from slice. one word: outstanding!!! we ordered a simple pesto pizza with grilled chicken. fantastic! made even better by the fact that the pesto is in-house made. this is some of the best pesto i've ever had. i'd kill to eat it on pasta. the crust was also one of the best i've had outside the philly/jersey shore! we also ordered the luca samich. by far, one of the most falvorful, yet simple sammies anywhere in "da burgh." do yourself a favor: order from slice, if you haven't yet. its phenominal & you'll have a new favorite pizza place!
