best pizza ever! love this place. slice is my favorite pizza in the city! thisplaceis fantastic. my favorite is their margherita pizza. and the florentine. and the italian hoagie. and the steak and cheese. ok, everything on the menu is delicious. really you can't go wrong here. add to that the warm, friendly, welcoming service and a shop right on broadway that is so inviting and smells so good you could hang out there all day...you'll be a customer for life. their delivery is quick too, even when they are super busy. seriously, these guys are amazing, give them a try you won't regret it!

super salty pizza. if you like salty pizza this is theplacefor you. i did not like it at all, pizza was tasteless and very salty. i ordered the ginormous pizza with all the toppngs and found it had no taste. i compare it to fiori's which i hate also because it is so salty. i tried it because it was in my backyard, and has won local awards, but i am a person who puts salt on nothing, so i did not like it.

really good pizza.... i decided to give thisplacea try after reading some of the other reviews. i ordered an italian hoagie and a big lou specialty pizza. both were very good. the italian dressing has a nice tang. the pizza is a thin crust, baked crisp. the toppings were well proportioned with the cheese and sauce. i picked up my order but was impressed by the cleanliness of theplaceinside.

a friend and i passed through pittsburgh on a road trip. man, are we glad we stopped by here. staff was super pleasant and the pizza was outstanding. if you can manage to scale the hills to get up to thisplaceyou won't be disappointed. if i'm ever in pittsburgh again i'll be coming back for sure.

great!!!. thisplaceis fantastic! i know that i will probably be crucified for saying this, but it reminds me a lot of fiori's pizza. the only difference is there are many more different toppings to choose from.

get a pie with bacon and artichoke, you won't be disappointed. their cheestake with the jalepeno's is the best cheesesteak that i have had in pittsburgh!

call early if you want it delivered! on the weekends i have tried for delivery only to be told that they can't deliver because they are booked through the night.....i got takeout instead!

awesome.. ok it's sunday night looking forplaceto eat. my son wanted to go to casa rasta but it was closed. he had heard of thisplaceso we went in.it was after 8 and they closed at 8. but they said no prob. so we entered five of us. two vegetarians three meat eaters. we order three different pizzas. all were awesome. the crust was thin and crispy. not soft and doughy. the sauce seasoned just right and the fresh veggies were so great!!!. thisplaceis out our way as we live inwhitehall. but we will go out of our way to go back.

fresh new(not anymore) pizzaplacethat brings a refreshing taste and quality back to pizza shops other than the big name ones (not chains). slice has made its mark on the pizza circle and has become one of the best. love there pizza. foodfather approved!!

i wanted to love this pizza. after reading reviews praising the amazing pizza at slice on broadway, i decided to make the drive from the east end over to the south hills to give it a try. i'm not sure if my expectations were elevated too much, but the pizza was just ok, in my opinion. there was nothing distinctive about it. the crust was a bit dry. the cheese tasted ok and the sauce was a bit savory. the folks working there were very nice. the upstairs area is relaxing and welcoming. but overall it's a regular pizzaplacewith average pizza.

great! and they deliver to mt wash!!. i don't typically write reviews but going to make an exception for slice on broadway because i am so incredibly f**king psyched that thisplacedelivers to mt. washington. the pizza is really very good on it's own, and relative to some of the straight-up garbage pie sold around here, it's mind blowing how good slice is. i've only had a large pie with mushrooms, pepperoni and green peppers but that pie is thin, fairly crisp even after delivery with a sturdy crust that holds up to re-heating but doesn't really need to be. upon arrival the dough hasn't disintegrated into a cheap-cheese grease mush like others i've experienced. toppings are fresh, and the perfect amount on there as well. oh and their large salad has actual greens and real ingredients and their dressings are good and made in house. highly recommended.

bad day?. got two plain white slices on a busy, hot saturday afternoon and they came back chewy and tough to eat. i think they just got busy and forgot the slices were in. didn't have time to complain or ask for a better attempt. still, i know i'll try thisplacea second time before staying away for good.

good food, good service...you'll like it!. jumped on this site for the number, ( lost the menu), saw the reviews, wanted to add one because they do a good job.
the guys on the phone have been helpful when ordering, they deliver to us quickly and the food has always been very good upon arrival.
the pizza is excellent, we get the athena with extra tomatoes.

thisplacehas the best pie in town, hands down! the crust is perfectly cooked on an oven stone. the wife & i ordered just a pesto pizza w/grilled chicken, no sundried tomatoes, no spinach. it was perfect. what makes their pesto pizza so damn good is that they make their own pesto in house! what other pizzaplacegoes to lengths like that? we also split the luca samich, which reminded us more of a bistro/trattoria-style sammy instead of the same, boring pizza shop hoagie. the in-house made balsamic dressing & the breadworks roll just made the whole thing perfect. if you haven't tried thisplaceyet, do so! you won't be disappointed at all!

tonight was the first night the ole lady & i ordered from slice. one word: outstanding!!! we ordered a simple pesto pizza with grilled chicken. fantastic! made even better by the fact that the pesto is in-house made. this is some of the best pesto i've ever had. i'd kill to eat it on pasta. the crust was also one of the best i've had outside the philly/jersey shore! we also ordered the luca samich. by far, one of the most falvorful, yet simple sammies anywhere in "da burgh." do yourself a favor: order from slice, if you haven't yet. its phenominal & you'll have a new favorite pizza place!

fantastic. urban spoon reviews brought me to slice, and you people know pizza. this was the best pizza i've had in a long time. friendly service and just a great experience. loved the crust and the sauce had a very fresh taste.....i did not think it was overly sweet. i always order a plain cheese pizza the first time i try aplaceto test it out. i can't wait to try their specialty pies!

thisplaceis the epitome of my favorite pizza! thin pizza, sweet yet tasty sauce and fresh cheeses. you can't compare thisplaceto any others in pittsburgh, whether that be the price, taste, or even the employees. slice on broadway has my vote for best pizza in the burgh, keep up the good work guys!

not the best, not the worst. their pizza and their sauce are ok, but far from being the best. ive had a few subs there, and they are adequate, although more voluminous in meat than, say, subway.

i have been very disappointed w/ pizza offerings in the south hills. everyone thinks their favorite joint has 'the best pizza....". thats understandable, but i will never get how slice can be considered 'the best'.

thisplacelooks dingy. a definite positive is that the prices are more than reasonable.
