in the saturated pizza market of beechview and surrounding communities, slice offers a new and unique pizza to the area. my first pizza was the athena, a crafted pizza that was light and had exceptionallyfreshtoppings. highly recommended. in addition, byob completed an already great experience. outside dining is available. grab a bottle of wine and enjoy a slice or two...

awesome.. ok it's sunday night looking for place to eat. my son wanted to go to casa rasta but it was closed. he had heard of this place so we went in.it was after 8 and they closed at 8. but they said no prob. so we entered five of us. two vegetarians three meat eaters. we order three different pizzas. all were awesome. the crust was thin and crispy. not soft and doughy. the sauce seasoned just right and thefreshveggies were so great!!!. this place is out our way as we live inwhitehall. but we will go out of our way to go back.

great pizza!. i ordered from slice for the first time tonight and due to some miscommunication when ordering i ended up with a different pizza than ordered. i called back and the manager, jeff, made sure to get another pizza out to me as ordered and even delivered it himself. the extra effort was very much appreciated!
as for the pizza itself, it was delicious. their use offreshingredients and effort to make as much as possible from scratch is apparent in every bite.
we won't hesitate to order from them again!

placed an order today for a white pizza with spinach, tomatoes and sausage. absolutely delish!!! i am very picky about my pizza and just wanted to say that it was really good,freshand hot when it was delivered to us at work today. we will be ordering again next week some time.

wow great pie. i'm from the north hills area. my wife and went to slice for a birthday party on saturday, upstairs of the shop, definitely worth crossing the river for. the thin crust awesome, great sauce &freshwonderful toppings. we had the house salad & antipasta salad both with the house dressing. (great) we tried the white pizza, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza, mushroom pizza, explosive flavors in all........this is a bold statement i know, with beto's down on banksville rd. and fiories off of west liberty. when you taste it you'll know what i mean..... dan

put it on your bucket list !. when this shop opened on my street, i was thankful to have budget and time friendly gourmet food at my finger tips. with afreshbasil plant to top my freshly made dough, this shop offered flavor and friendly ness that you often encounter in this region. when their witty menu expanded to include the fancy pants sandwich, i knew this was the best of the best.

the pizza isfreshand fantastic, but i always get a side salad when i get pizza. salads at some pizza places are a joke, but slice gives me absolutely no good reason not to eat my vegetibles. the big lou and the guido pizza are my favorite. and all of there hoagies are... you guessed it, delicious and fresh.

lastly, their delivery men are nice. they seem genuinley happy to bring you your food and don't act like you owe them a tip just for showing up.

i have literally ordered from slice 3x in the past week. their food is phenomenal! pizza has a thin, chewy, perfectly cooked ny style crust, hoagies are delicious and if you try the antipasto salad (genoa salami, pepp., sundried tom., artichoke hearts, feta, roasted red peppers, i know i'm forgetting a few ingredients but you get the hint) with house balsamic dressing i promise you'll thank me. they use top quality,freshingredients (no cheap meats or cheeses) and everyone i've spoken to when i've called including rico, the owner, is super nice! thanks for making a pregnant lady's tastebuds happy slice :-)

best pizza i have had in a long time. i had the margherita...fresh mozzarella ,freshbasil , evoo. hmmmm so good.

fantastic. urban spoon reviews brought me to slice, and you people know pizza. this was the best pizza i've had in a long time. friendly service and just a great experience. loved the crust and the sauce had a veryfreshtaste.....i did not think it was overly sweet. i always order a plain cheese pizza the first time i try a place to test it out. i can't wait to try their specialty pies!

this place is the epitome of my favorite pizza! thin pizza, sweet yet tasty sauce andfreshcheeses. you can't compare this place to any others in pittsburgh, whether that be the price, taste, or even the employees. slice on broadway has my vote for best pizza in the burgh, keep up the good work guys!

great pizza. i couldn't believe this little kept secret in pittsburgh! im telling you they not only have the best pizza in the city but the best in all of western pennsylvania. if you don't believe me check it out. they are quick with deliveries, pick ups. they havefreshingredients and quick slices for those who are on the go. try their specialty pies and hoagies. if you don't try slice on broadway your really missing out on pittsburgh's best kept secret.

my new favorite pizza. slice knows how to make a damn good slice. stopped in on a thursday night around 7 and ordered a large margherita. within 10 minutes the owner/pizza maker/waiter brought a piping hot pie out to our table on the sidewalk in front of the shop. the pizza looked fantastic and tasted just as good. i love this pizza because the crust is super thin, but it still holds up well rather than flopping all over the place. i also like the corn meal on the bottom of the crust. the sauce was a bit sweet but tasted mostly likefreshsummer tomatoes.
for a large pizza and two cokes the total was $15. a friend and i ended up eating a whole large pizza in one sitting, this however wasn't due to its size but rather just how good it was.

fresh, fresh, fresh, and delicious!. we have to drive past several other pizza places to get to slice, and it is well worth it. last week, i chatted with rico, one of the owners, and he confirmed what i thought to be true from eating his food: their concept is to use simple,freshfood - and it shows.

we always order a combination of foods, because we can't get enough of their menu. the caprese sandwich is just phenomenal, as is the proscuitto sandwich - if you've visited europe, and love the hands that you can grab from a local little market, these will put you in that same sort of space. delicious, fresh, and well-thought out.

the pizzas are also fantastic. there are a ton of vegetarian options, which is really something special - there aren't just toppings thrown on to a pizza. the crust is thin, the actual topping amounts are formulaic, and everything is put on to really deliver the most balanced flavor that you could ask for in a pizza. best of all, the prices are amazing.
