fresh, fresh, fresh, and delicious!. we have to drive past several other pizza places to get to slice, and it is well worth it. last week, i chatted with rico, one of the owners, and he confirmed what i thought to be true from eating his food: their concept is to use simple, freshfood - and it shows.
we always order a combination of foods, because we can't get enough of their menu. the caprese sandwich is just phenomenal, as is the proscuitto sandwich - if you've visited europe, and love the hands that you can grab from a local little market, these will put you in that same sort of space. delicious, fresh, and well-thought out.
the pizzas are also fantastic. there are a ton of vegetarian options, which is really something special - there aren't just toppings thrown on to a pizza. the crust is thin, the actual topping amounts are formulaic, and everything is put on to really deliver the most balanced flavor that you could ask for in a pizza. best of all, the prices are amazing.
support your locals, and try it out. :)
