horrible staff. absolutely horrible service and the pizza was not in my top 10 in south hills let alone the top in pittsburgh. asked for something specific. when delivered, it was wrong. when we called, the person who took the call was rude. horrible.

best pizza, ever!!!. we are regulars and we love it!

best in pittsburgh. i have been eating slice since it has first opened and it is by far the best in pittsburgh! the margherita pizza is my favorite and it isn't greasy or heavy like most places. i recommend slice to all of my friends and family :)

fantastic. urban spoon reviews brought me to slice, and you people know pizza. this was the best pizza i've had in a long time. friendly service and just a great experience. loved the crust and the sauce had a very fresh taste.....i did not think it was overly sweet. i always order a plain cheese pizza the first time i try a place to test it out. i can't wait to try their specialty pies!

great,. i moved to the dormant area about a year ago, and i've been looking for a good pie. i have tried about all the ones around and i have to say i like slice on broadway. it would be in my top 2. the crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is not over seasoned and very good. i would recommend it! only problem is they are not open on sunday's.

our new go to pizza joint!. amazing!!!! my boyfriend and i get pizza at least once a week and we are highly disappointed that we didn't find slice on broadway sooner!!! we got the margarita pizza and it was a true margarita pizza. sauce was simple seasoned crushed tomatoes and olive oil, cheese was full of flavor not too salty, crust was perfectly crisp! joe the owner and nick his sidekick greeted my boyfriend with a handshake and a warm and genuine conversation while they finished wrapping up our pizza. unmatched customer service and remarkable pizza, there is no doubt this will be our new pizza place!!!

this place is the epitome of my favorite pizza! thin pizza, sweet yet tasty sauce and fresh cheeses. you can't compare this place to any others in pittsburgh, whether that be the price, taste, or even the employees. slice on broadway has my vote for best pizza in the burgh, keep up the good work guys!

great pizza. i couldn't believe this little kept secret in pittsburgh! im telling you they not only have the best pizza in the city but the best in all of western pennsylvania. if you don't believe me check it out. they are quick with deliveries, pick ups. they have fresh ingredients and quick slices for those who are on the go. try their specialty pies and hoagies. if you don't try slice on broadway your really missing out on pittsburgh's best kept secret.

real new york style in pittsburgh. as they say in new york 'its all in the crust'. slice on broadway (sob) has crust that would rival any i've had in the big apple or in pittsburgh. the thin crust is crispy and chewy, but not so much that you don't still have to fold a slice in half to enjoy it with one hand. the uncooked tomato sauce is a prefect match to the crust making one great pie.
in the many times we have enjoyed sob, ricco, the owner, has never failed to accommodate. even going the extra mile and making custom pizzas.
i highly recommend sob to any pizza lover, you will not be disappointed with this little slice of new york in pittsburgh.

not the best, not the worst. their pizza and their sauce are ok, but far from being the best. ive had a few subs there, and they are adequate, although more voluminous in meat than, say, subway.

i have been very disappointed w/ pizza offerings in the south hills. everyone thinks their favorite joint has 'the best pizza....". thats understandable, but i will never get how slice can be considered 'the best'.

this place looks dingy. a definite positive is that the prices are more than reasonable.

my new favorite pizza. slice knows how to make a damn good slice. stopped in on a thursday night around 7 and ordered a large margherita. within 10 minutes the owner/pizza maker/waiter brought a piping hot pie out to our table on the sidewalk in front of the shop. the pizza looked fantastic and tasted just as good. i love this pizza because the crust is super thin, but it still holds up well rather than flopping all over the place. i also like the corn meal on the bottom of the crust. the sauce was a bit sweet but tasted mostly like fresh summer tomatoes.
for a large pizza and two cokes the total was $15. a friend and i ended up eating a whole large pizza in one sitting, this however wasn't due to its size but rather just how good it was.

these guys really just know how to put together a great pie, and i can’t wait to work my way through the menu.

found my new favorite local shop!. went there tonight with the wife for the first time, after hearing many many good things (& seeing all the killer urbanspoon reviews). i have to say, these guys have ridiculously good sauce, that's sweet but not too sweet. it had a perfect thin but not burned crust. we got a large red sauce pie, just cheese on the wife's half... roasted red peppers on mine. wanted to keep it simple for the 1st time. i can't wait to try some of the specialty pizzas, subs, & salad.

it was cool to sit inside & watch the t go by. the inside is small & inviting, great little place to relax & dine. the guys behind the counter were really friendly too.

there are some slices in the 'fridge now that might not make it until tomorrow. the menu's hanging on the front of the 'fridge... and i wouldn't blink an eye if that's where the wife suggested we go for dinner tomorrow.

slice is amazing ! quality fresh ingredients made by people who care. i can't wait to go back !
