bad day?. got two plain white slices on a busy, hot saturday afternoon and they came back chewy and tough to eat. i think they just got busy and forgot the slices were in. didn't have time to complain or ask for a better attempt. still, i know i'll try this place a second time before staying away for good.

not the best pizza i've had in pittsburgh, but not the worst either. the staff was friendly and pleasant when i picked my pizza up, but the pizza was just mediocre. it tasted a lot like italian villages pizza. i'd eat here again, it's just nothing i'd go out of my way to get.

slice for the price!. slice is an excellent choice to satisfy any appetite, hungry man, pizza lover or the "i'll just have a salad" clientele. great, friendly service. outdoor and rooftop seating to enjoy those summer days and evenings. and if you cannot get away from work or play, they deliver with a smile and on time! i have a new salon on broadway and we are thrilled to have slice for our clients and ourselves. the price is right and they aim to please! you will not be disappointed!

pile it on. a positive review for slice? get outta town.

the pizza is fresh and fantastic, but i always get a side salad when i get pizza. salads at some pizza places are a joke, but slice gives me absolutely no good reason not to eat my vegetibles. the big lou and the guido pizza are my favorite. and all of there hoagies are... you guessed it, delicious and fresh.

lastly, their delivery men are nice. they seem genuinley happy to bring you your food and don't act like you owe them a tip just for showing up.

fantastic new york style pizza. we were in pittsburgh, pa for the weekend and we wanted good pizza. slice on broadway is south of the city and was the best pizza we have had since moving from new york. the owner was friendly, the restaurant was small and clean.
great pizza!

i have literally ordered from slice 3x in the past week. their food is phenomenal! pizza has a thin, chewy, perfectly cooked ny style crust, hoagies are delicious and if you try the antipasto salad (genoa salami, pepp., sundried tom., artichoke hearts, feta, roasted red peppers, i know i'm forgetting a few ingredients but you get the hint) with house balsamic dressing i promise you'll thank me. they use top quality, fresh ingredients (no cheap meats or cheeses) and everyone i've spoken to when i've called including rico, the owner, is super nice! thanks for making a pregnant lady's tastebuds happy slice :-)

baddd !!!!!. i went to order from here for the first time . i ordered a plain pizza and asked for delivery . i live in the brookline area and they said it was too far so i had to go pick it up . it was cold and the cheese was un cooked . i hated it . then when i told them it was un cooked they gave me a rude reply and said ; well to bad ; i can not beilve how someone could say that when i was give them my money for their product .

great pizza questionable service. so we live 2.27 miles from the slice yet when we asked for delivery we were told they don't deliver "that far away". is this common for places in this area or not?

i have gone to slice several times. i ususally have pzza, but sometimes hoagies. i ordered a hoagie thurs. ,it was $8.50 the bread was good, but that's all you could taste because of the lack of meat it might have been good if you could actuallytaste it. i understand the need for portion control but it has to be reasonable i don't know if this was the norm now,but i have never had this happen there before.

good food, good service...you'll like it!. jumped on this site for the number, ( lost the menu), saw the reviews, wanted to add one because they do a good job.
the guys on the phone have been helpful when ordering, they deliver to us quickly and the food has always been very good upon arrival.
the pizza is excellent, we get the athena with extra tomatoes.
thanks for being a nice place to eat.

slice on broadway has awesome pizza in my opinion it is the best in the south hills great service great staff great delivery people all professional friendly and always have a smile not to mention are always in an upbeat minute. next time you order pizza order from slice on broadway give it a try you won't regret it. next time somebody asks you where to order pizza from in the south hills the only pizza shop that will come to mind will be slice on broadway

horrible. we were treated like idiots for asking questions and not "ordering right way". i've never had someone treat customers this way. was looking for hidden camera because it was unreal. food was meh. avoid this place

great spot. ordered from here several times, excellant each time! great crust, nice sauce, and very interesting topping and choices. ordered delivery, actually arrived earlier than we were told! overall, nice place, good people and great affordable pizzia. fiori's is still my favorite, but this is becoming a close second!!
