friend took me to this wonderful restaurant. great food and lots of it, happy/helpful service, nice relaxed country music and not too loud, used my landry's points card and my birthday meal got me $25 off my meal...bonus! thanks saltgrass you always make me happy!

this was my first visit to this saltgrass. the food was as excellent as expected from visits to other locations. their dinner salads are great. i always get the ny strip, but i decided to try the baby back ribs and grilled shrimp combo. both had outstanding flavor, and the rib meat just fell off the bone. the service was great from start to finish.

we were vacationing from another state and asked our hotel to recommend a "true texas steak" and they didn't hesitate when they recommended this place for the true texas experience. they did not steer us wrong. thank you saltgrass steakhouse for the best ribeye i've ever had! fork-tender and so flavorful. i can't even describe it except to say that i am ruined for all other steakhouses; my home state just can't compare.

i had the chicken tortilla soup as my starter and it was also exceptionally great. even the side dish was great: i got asparagus and it must have been grilled because it had a hint of smoky flavor. and now i'm truly salivating.

strongly recommend getting a reservation. this place is packed even on a weeknight; the parking lot was overfull and the side street was packed on both sides of the street for at least 2 blocks down. it can be a royal pain in the butt if you don't get a reservation.

we are seldom disappointed at saltgrass! our family enjoys coming here for special occasions like birthdays. we enjoy the food and the atmosphere.

excellent.! my ribeye had an great flavor and was cooked to perfection. hayden was an excellent server and made great recommendations. chocolate cake was very good.

we eat at saltgrass at least once a week. the servers are all great; we have a couple of favorites but they are all great! the food is consistently good and they are good about making small changes to the dish you are ordering. we are members of the landry's select club and we enjoy getting the points towards free meals. david and bonnie eckert

can't justify prices. the quality of food does not match the price tag. i would only recommend visiting this location if you are in a position to stop off of i 40 west for a steak or if you are staying at a nearby hotel and don't want to venture too far away.

we waited 25 minutes to be seated. then it took a full hour to get our food and there were only about 10 table in the whole restaurant. i won't be back. adding a picture for proof that it was empty and still took that long.

had a great dinner here. started off with a wedge salad that is big enough for a meal in itself! it was really good! the 6 oz filet was very tender, but just a tad undercooked. i ordered medium rare and got rare. i didn't send it back, because i never send food back. too risky in my opinion. it's not good to piss off the chefs. the garlic mashed potatoes were awesome!! we were too full for dessert! i will be back when through this way next.

last time we went there was the last time we went there.  had been there several times.  we live one city to the west.  so it is a drive for us and a walk after you find a parking spot, which is a block or more away.  all was well and we had enjoyed and we had taken guests.  but this time it was just us and my husband had driven so i did not have my id with me.  we ordered cocktails and browsed the menu and the server said she had to see our id's.  so my husband showed his id and i said mine was at home. we are in our 50's and would you believe the girl said she could not serve me without an id.  i said i am over 21, anyone can see that.  she said sorry, those are the rules.  we got up and left and i called the next day and asked about it and they said you might be undercover officers checking on us and i said no other place does this to a person obviously over 40.  so, they lost us for good.  we will never be back to eat their fatty prime rib or their frozen french fries.  plenty of other places a lot closer.  good luck.  and bye.

from the time the staff opened the doors until the minute we left was a great eating experience. the staff was very friendly and efficient, the rib-eye steak & shrimp platter we ordered was above excellent along with the salad and baked potato. if you are at the boardwalk in bossier go, without drinks we spent around $70.

this place has the best steak for a chain. i'm not a fan of outback or texas roadhouse but don't mind saltgrass. our family eats at this place at least once a month. my fave is a petite fillet with red wine and pepper reduction. good side choices!! you can't skip the rattlesnake bites!

chicken laredo was amazing and also off the menu secret dish - grilled chicken breast with oscar topping on a bed of fried asparagus. we had wedge salads and a ky smash and tropical sangria after an afternoon of hiking at palo duro state park. casual dress is fine. great food and service. sits in between longhorn and logan's

i've been here a half dozen times.  loud and boisterous clientele in the evenings, especially on the weekends, but whenever you go you will have a good time. having had most of their steak line-up (with tonight being the new york strip) i can honestly say they do a great job on 'em.  i normally get my steaks medium rare and that is what they bring to our table.  seafood is done especially well too. i select salmon a lot.   salads are nicely prepared with their caesar salad being a favorite of mine.  i like their grilled chicken salad when i want something light. unfortunately, they do not have a broad range of light entrees, so come hungry. i also recommend their macaroni and cheese as a side.  it has big cheese flavor.

service on all but one occasion has been almost regimental, probably more formal than need be, but it's all good.  servers have been excellent at recommending menu items, never forgetting the special of the day. only once did we have a server that seemed to be more into upselling product, versus keeping his customer happy.  

while not being the fanciest steakhouse in grapevine, saltgrass gives you quality at a reasonable price.  if you are from out-of-town, know that there are a number of these steakhouses scattered throughout dallas, fort worth, houston and throughout texas.

one of my favorite steak houses in amarillo. love the cheese fries as an app. usually get a dinner salad with good bleu cheese dressing. the bread & butter is yummy! i've eaten the sirloin & filet. always seasoned well & cooked at correct temperature. love this place!
