nope, not for me.. i've only had thesteakand both times over cooked. won't go back.

terrible!!. not sure why my original review was removed but this was the worst dining experience i have ever had. to start out i ordered the chicken and shrimp wrapped in bacon and the chicken was raw. not just under cooked, it was raw. next our steaks were both bloody although they were ordered med well. my wife ordered grilled shrimp with hersteakand was given fried. she told them not to worry about it and they then brought her grilled as well and then charged us for both. it took so long to receive our food we didn't bother sending our steaks back.

we ate lunch there this week with the high hopes that it would be as good as the one in dallas, but we were greatly disappointed. my husband had a 10 oz ribeye. it was very thin and had quite a bit of fat on it. i had a 6 oz sirloin and grilled shrimp. thesteakwas dry and not very flavorful and not very tender.
there were tons of servers constantly walking by our table and all trying to take our plates! maybe if we set back in a corner it would be better, but idk....
all in all it was a disappointment and not worth the $40 that our mediocre lunch cost us. we really wanted it to be good as we love a great steakhouse, but we probably won't be back.

was there last week. took 25 minutes to get spinach and artichoke appetizer. took another 35 minutes for main meal to come out.steakwas good but had to ask for butter and sour cream to fix very dry mashed potatoes. another family member ordered a chicken salad with no egg, came with egg on it. manager came over offered to make a new one but was told we would rather not wait to get a new one and he could go ahead and take the original back because it was no longer wanted. did not comp the uneaten salad. seriously poor customer service.

i'll have thesteakhold the attitude. i have been to this location several times. the food is ok maybe a bit pricy for the quality. i will say the bread is good. the service however is lacking. i will never visit this location again. i made a reservation for myself and two friends. i called early afternoon and made the reservation for 8:30 pm. we showed up at the restaurant at about 8:20. i went to check in with the host and was told the wait would be 45 minutes minimum. i asked about the reservation and she snottily replied we don't take reservations. to which i responded, "that's not what they told me when i called earlier and took my reservation along with my name and number". i then was referred to the ego wielding manager who chirped in "i don't know who you spoke with but we don't take reservations and if you have a problem you can go somewhere else". wow i have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant. what ever happened to the customer is always right. i felt like i was intruding at a private country club or something. i then traveled up the street to texas roadhouse where i was promptly greeted by a polite staff and seated almost immediately. the food was just as good and the prices are better as well.

our waiter kevin was the best! he was always there when we needed him. and when mysteakwas not well done, no fault of his of course, he whisked it back and had it on my table in no time at all, with extra sides. while waiting, we were greeted by the manager, who was aware of my concern. it was truly amazing how they treated us. thesteakand shrimp was otherwise very delicious and i will be back!!! the staff treated us like we were the only patrons there in a busy restaurant. kudos kevin and the staff of saltgrass! for dining there for the first time, you left a good taste in my mouth😃

can't justify prices. the quality of food does not match the price tag. i would only recommend visiting this location if you are in a position to stop off of i 40 west for asteakor if you are staying at a nearby hotel and don't want to venture too far away.

from the time the staff opened the doors until the minute we left was a great eating experience. the staff was very friendly and efficient, the rib-eyesteak& shrimp platter we ordered was above excellent along with the salad and baked potato. if you are at the boardwalk in bossier go, without drinks we spent around $70.

this place has the beststeakfor a chain. i'm not a fan of outback or texas roadhouse but don't mind saltgrass. our family eats at this place at least once a month. my fave is a petite fillet with red wine and pepper reduction. good side choices!! you can't skip the rattlesnake bites!

i've been here a half dozen times.  loud and boisterous clientele in the evenings, especially on the weekends, but whenever you go you will have a good time. having had most of theirsteakline-up (with tonight being the new york strip) i can honestly say they do a great job on 'em.  i normally get my steaks medium rare and that is what they bring to our table.  seafood is done especially well too. i select salmon a lot.   salads are nicely prepared with their caesar salad being a favorite of mine.  i like their grilled chicken salad when i want something light. unfortunately, they do not have a broad range of light entrees, so come hungry. i also recommend their macaroni and cheese as a side.  it has big cheese flavor.

service on all but one occasion has been almost regimental, probably more formal than need be, but it's all good.  servers have been excellent at recommending menu items, never forgetting the special of the day. only once did we have a server that seemed to be more into upselling product, versus keeping his customer happy.  

while not being the fanciest steakhouse in grapevine, saltgrass gives you quality at a reasonable price.  if you are from out-of-town, know that there are a number of these steakhouses scattered throughout dallas, fort worth, houston and throughout texas.

one of my favoritesteakhouses in amarillo. love the cheese fries as an app. usually get a dinner salad with good bleu cheese dressing. the bread & butter is yummy! i've eaten the sirloin & filet. always seasoned well & cooked at correct temperature. love this place!

normally love it, this time, not so much.. we are regular patrons to this saltgrass, we even have the vip card. night before last was unbearable and miserable. we wanted a special family dinner. it took 17 minutes to get tea and order, then it wasn't sweet. our soup came after 15 minutes, which basically means we sat at the table for 40 minutes (including the time before our waitress even graced our table with her presence) which got the night off on the wrong foot. keep in mind we had a 3 year old. i ordered prime rib, but was served a sirloin. another at our table got the wrong steak, and had to wait while the manager and waitress debated who put it in wrong, for ten minutes....at our table. we stayed calm, in hopes to salvage the night .....hoping they would make it right. his correctsteakfinally came out, after 15 minutes, and it was under temp. he ate it anyway, as we were so beyond giving chances. when the bill came, there was zero discount, not even an i'm sorry. the waitress mentioned in passing that she was sorry she put hissteakin wrong. but, let's be honest, they have no idea how to treat customers. sad, really, it used to be so good. the one in dallas doesn't even let your drink get half empty. amarillo has a ton of "foodies" so they won't last like this.

great place to eat. this is one of the best restaurants my husband and i have been to, the chicken friedsteakwas cooked just right, and they have great drinks also. 5 stars!!

good for a chain. personally i don't care for their steaks (other than chicken fried), it doesn't matter what cut the most expensive to the least. their chicken friedsteakis my favorite it is always tender and i share this meal with my husband as it feeds two people. the fried mushrooms are great and the bread is tasty. their wedge salad is one dollar extra however it is fantastic.

ok steaks, great service but definitely no outback steakhouse.

service is always amazing here and the atmosphere is warm and inviting but i just can't get over thesteakquality. filets have fat and the strips are thin and flavorless. i think the "angus" branding scheme is way overdone anymore. concentrate on quality, not marketing.
