food and service was excellent. i had the new york strip and flavor was tantalizing.greatvariety! fresh ground pepper from the server. prices were not too terrible either!

we ate lunch there this week with the high hopes that it would be as good as the one in dallas, but we were greatly disappointed. my husband had a 10 oz ribeye. it was very thin and had quite a bit of fat on it. i had a 6 oz sirloin and grilled shrimp. the steak was dry and not very flavorful and not very tender.
there were tons of servers constantly walking by our table and all trying to take our plates! maybe if we set back in a corner it would be better, but idk....
all in all it was a disappointment and not worth the $40 that our mediocre lunch cost us. we really wanted it to be good as we love agreatsteakhouse, but we probably won't be back.

great lunch. tried saltgrass for lunch, was a little afraid it would be too expensive, or not have anything that appealed to me. i was wrong. they have a terrific lunch menu, with some menu items as low as 8 bucks. i chose the tenderloin tips, which are served in a bowl with sauce and tons of mushrooms. i asked for it rare, and was very pleased - the saltgrass kitchen understands what rare means! it was awesome. i chose romano potatoes as my side, and they weregreatas well. i'll definitely come back.

the only (very) minor drawback was that our waiter seemed very unfamiliar with the menu (maybe he was new.) my friend asked him what he recommended, and he told us that he had only ever tried a single item off of the lunch menu, so couldn't really tell us what he liked.

i read a lot of reviews that were not sogreatespecially in regards to the service but our waitress was wonderful. melissa was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. we got our food in a timely manner, i got the sirloin and my husband got the prime rib. the sirloin is the better choice mine was a nice thick cut of meat and cooked correctly. the prime rib was thin and served on a piece of bread. prime rib may be a thin he has never ordered one before. prices were about average for a steakhouse.

totally yummy. my wife and i had agreatmeal at saltgrass steakhouse. appetizers and our main course tastedgreatand were cooked exactly like we asked for them. at the end of the meal we even bought gift cards to give out for father's day so that the rest of our family would have an excuse to have agreatmeal.

we came in before the dinner crowd so service was pretty fast. we had a ribeye and filet. both were cooked well and tastedgreatbut both were very thin cuts, seriously like half the thickness i'm used to.

friend took me to this wonderful restaurant.greatfood and lots of it, happy/helpful service, nice relaxed country music and not too loud, used my landry's points card and my birthday meal got me $25 off my meal...bonus! thanks saltgrass you always make me happy!

this was my first visit to this saltgrass. the food was as excellent as expected from visits to other locations. their dinner salads are great. i always get the ny strip, but i decided to try the baby back ribs and grilled shrimp combo. both had outstanding flavor, and the rib meat just fell off the bone. the service wasgreatfrom start to finish.

excellent.! my ribeye had angreatflavor and was cooked to perfection. hayden was an excellent server and madegreatrecommendations. chocolate cake was very good.

had agreatdinner here. started off with a wedge salad that is big enough for a meal in itself! it was really good! the 6 oz filet was very tender, but just a tad undercooked. i ordered medium rare and got rare. i didn't send it back, because i never send food back. too risky in my opinion. it's not good to piss off the chefs. the garlic mashed potatoes were awesome!! we were too full for dessert! i will be back when through this way next.

from the time the staff opened the doors until the minute we left was agreateating experience. the staff was very friendly and efficient, the rib-eye steak & shrimp platter we ordered was above excellent along with the salad and baked potato. if you are at the boardwalk in bossier go, without drinks we spent around $70.

chicken laredo was amazing and also off the menu secret dish - grilled chicken breast with oscar topping on a bed of fried asparagus. we had wedge salads and a ky smash and tropical sangria after an afternoon of hiking at palo duro state park. casual dress is fine.greatfood and service. sits in between longhorn and logan's

i've been here a half dozen times.  loud and boisterous clientele in the evenings, especially on the weekends, but whenever you go you will have a good time. having had most of their steak line-up (with tonight being the new york strip) i can honestly say they do agreatjob on 'em.  i normally get my steaks medium rare and that is what they bring to our table.  seafood is done especially well too. i select salmon a lot.   salads are nicely prepared with their caesar salad being a favorite of mine.  i like their grilled chicken salad when i want something light. unfortunately, they do not have a broad range of light entrees, so come hungry. i also recommend their macaroni and cheese as a side.  it has big cheese flavor.

service on all but one occasion has been almost regimental, probably more formal than need be, but it's all good.  servers have been excellent at recommending menu items, never forgetting the special of the day. only once did we have a server that seemed to be more into upselling product, versus keeping his customer happy.  

while not being the fanciest steakhouse in grapevine, saltgrass gives you quality at a reasonable price.  if you are from out-of-town, know that there are a number of these steakhouses scattered throughout dallas, fort worth, houston and throughout texas.

great place to eat. this is one of the best restaurants my husband and i have been to, the chicken fried steak was cooked just right, and they havegreatdrinks also. 5 stars!!

good for a chain. personally i don't care for their steaks (other than chicken fried), it doesn't matter what cut the most expensive to the least. their chicken fried steak is my favorite it is always tender and i share this meal with my husband as it feeds two people. the fried mushrooms aregreatand the bread is tasty. their wedge salad is one dollar extra however it is fantastic.
