good beer, average food. red rock is a nice place to end a ski day. a professional beer tasting friend told me she prefers squatters but i have always found the red rock beer to be good. thefoodis typical brew pub food, filling and good enough but not great. however there are some highlights, e.g. the tuna sandwich served in a pita like wrapper (a recent special).

good beer, good food, good times!!. in the endless battle over best brew pub behind the zion curtain i've long been a squatters' brew pub advocate. over time i've begun to hone my palate toward a menu of mid level sophisticatedfoodwithout the air of pretentiousness.

red rock is a solid bet. from their oatmeal stout to the simple splendor of the red rock burger, all the way to mimosa's and egg's in purgatory for a sunday brunch you wont find a better brew pub in salt lake.

visiting red rock is like stepping through a portal from salt lake to seattle. a great brew pub with a solid menu and a beer line up few could match. a trip to the covered patio to enjoy to evening air, or a large party filling the rear of the restaurant with a view of the brewing process red rock is a great experience.

i was really excited to try this place because of the reviews but ourfoodwas mediocre at best. nothing special. also, the creme brulee dessert we ordered was absolutely terrible. it tasted like scrambled eggs and there was a thick layer of water at the bottom of the dish. yucky. i guess you could go check it out but just don't expect too much in regards tofoodquality.

thefoodwas good and our waitress was great, but we almost didn’t make it that far. if we hadn’t been starving and only just arrived to the city we would have left after our interactions with the hostess. so rude. we were a party of 9 and all walking from a nearby hotel. 4 of us arrived 5 minutes ahead of the rest of the group extremely thirsty and hungry hoping to secure our table and order a drink. we were met with a curt, “do you know when your entire party will be here?” and we answered that they were about 5 minutes behind us and she snipped that she would get a table ready when everyone was there. it was about 11:30am and the place was not at all busy. when the rest of our group arrived she started to lead us back to a table. one of the ladies in our group turned back to tell the others we were being seated and they headed towards the table down a different isle and not directly behind the hostess. the hostess turned to my friend and snapped, “fine, seat yourselves then!” and huffed away. if we were more familiar with the area we would have left. glad thefoodand our waitress were better than our first impression. we’re in town for a week, we won’t be back.

good food. good beer. good staff. good location. a nice variety offoodis on the menu - everything from small apps like pickle bites to full steak dinners. and the beer is really good, too. a great selection of draft and bottled beers to complement whatever you pick from the menu. i had the chicken pot pie - just returned to the menu in time for fall/winter. it paired nicely with the english bitter and the oatmeal stout. can't wait to come back and try this combo on a really cold day. overall, this place was well worth the visit!

a prolific brew pub with an amazing list of beers andfoodto match. fried green tomatoes are best west of rockies. wild mushroom pizza, fish and chips were very good although crust could have been crispier.

enjoyed their version of a bamberg smoked beer and a bavarian weiss. service was fast and helpful.

my first visit to this place was a business lunch and so i did not have beer. but i simply loved thefoodespecially cod fish tacos. in my quest for that taco, i once again happened to be here during dinner time but unfortunately the taco was not available that day and so i had prosciutto that and buffalo wings. and both were superb. oh yes i did have beer that day and lot of light beer different ones each time and got one packed for the room which i could not finish ;)

the beer choices were good and the bruschetta was great. thefoodprices were astronomical. i had the a alaskan halibut fish and chips which was not that great and for $20.00 it's not worth it.

greatfoodssssllllloooooowwww service. if your table has enough time to consider, decide and finish a negative review while your waiting for a glass of water, let alone meal or check. you need to soul search your career choice. we've been sitting quietly watching other patrons receive quality service around us, and rather than leave have written a few of these on several sites. as a learning tool for the manager, help your waitstaff if they seem clueless about customer service. 2 hours for a quick bite? 35 minutes for the check after request? cmon. waiting tables is something that is so easy to do well, yet it seems today so very few do it well. a+ food, f- in service.

dinner review. we were just passing through salt lake and decided to stop at this local joint. the service was poor, it took about 10 minutes for the server to even get to our table and an exceptionally long wait for him to come back with my beer. thefoodwas decent, we particularly enjoyed the stuffed portobello mushroom as an appetizer. overall, we had a mediocre experience at red rocks

good for guests. i like to take visitors here for the "brew pub" atmosphere. thefoodit typically pretty good, but the service is very hit or miss and the last time we were there we had a very unpleasant hostess helping me set up for a group. always a crowd, so expect a wait.
