good food.... we tried ohm last night because the website said "kids eat free on thursday" after checking the website for restrictions and exclusions we went. there were 5 adults and 2 kids in our family. once the bill came there was no kids eat free... major fail, if you are going to advertise it and the customer can show you the advertisement on your website you ought to honor it. that's just basic customer service. i was very dissatisfied with that aspect. that being said, we loved the food. the triple b chips may have been the best appitiser i've ever put in my mouth and the pulled pork, smoked fried chicken and brisket were all excellent. i can't wait to go back next year. hopefully the customer service will match the food next year!

disappointing. as far as happy hour goes the slidders barely had any meat and the rib tips were only sauce. go to smokehouse for better happyhour and great chilli.

very good food - not so good service. great lunch specials. the restaurant was very reasonable. this is one of those places that most of the menu looks amazing. while there, i tried three different bbq sauces. i preferred the mustard based. the one thing i will say is that the service was not good. if the owner/manager reads this post (i would read all spoon posts of my restaurant) they should get their staff in order. they spent a good deal of the time i was there hanging out and chatting and not helping the patrons. usually, i do not give an experience with poor service a good review. but since the food was so good, i decided to go ahead anyway. yum!

good points and bad points. i tried the chocolate bbq ribs on a whim, and while i enjoyed the dimension that chocolate added to the sauce, i felt it tasted rather flat. not overwhelmingly chocolatey, not like i had hershey's syrup poured over the ribs, but just missing that usual spicy or vinegary punch most good ribs have. my citrus pecan salad was abysmal- lettuce was wilted and blackening on the edges, strawberries were overripe bordering on spoiled, and the dressing was waaay too sweet. i did enjoy the jalapeno honey corn bread- wasn't very spicy or too big, which was nice. the slaw was pretty much shredded cabbage and carrots- very little flavor or dressing to hold it together. i'm sure kids like it, so probably a good choice for families, but i could steer clear next time and not be upset.

very flavorful food!. made 2 trips here during our week stay. anxious to try more items on the menu! we have tried the wings. the hot asian are the best me and my wife have ever ate!! and we are both big wing fans. we also tried the brisket. outstanding!! and last but not least , the ribs .... ohhhhh the ribs. mouthwatering!! and the flavor of the bbq sauce is perfect! this will be a definite stop from now on every trip to hh from now on! and the prices are very reasonable!

great wings!. shared a sampler of 5 types of wings - bbq, jack daniels, garlic parmesan, kickin caribbean and lemon pepper. all sauces were wonderful.

great food. the food was great-- ribs were awesome. service was really good too. the prices were very reasonable especially the lunch menu. the portions were quite large-- especially for the $$. this place was recommended to us by a local. would definitely go there again next time in hilton head.

meh. went for a late lunch on sunday. even though the place was nearly empty, we weren't greeted at the entrance and only got some attention once we sat ourselves at the bar. the bartender/server was very nice and did her best to handle the entire place by herself. i ordered the fried chicken which was decent. the macaroni & cheese i chose for my sides were awful. the greens were so overdone and sweet that i couldn't eat them. the mac and cheese had definitely been sitting around for awhile. the feeling i got was that the owner of this place is totally checked out.

we love the cornbread!!! the buffalo wings have a nice heat to them.

delicious!. i found this place quite by accident while out bicycling in the neighborhood - the delicious aroma of smoking meat lead me right to it. the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and the baked beans were yummy. the salad was fresh and crispy and the sample-sized banana pudding for dessert was perfect. i can see that this would be a fun place to be during the season.

great eats!. this fun place was recommended to us for lunch, so we decided to give it a shot. we were greatly satisfied. the decor was fun, festive, and lively. since it was lunch hour, the place wasn't too busy, and our drinks and service were quickly provided. after we ordered, our food came at a reasonable time. their well-known ribs were excellent, as well as their mac-n-cheese, salads, quasadillas, and burgers. it was a vy good overall experience.

be sure to eat here. we have been coming to the island for ~ 15 years. we ate here for the first time tonight. the food was great. the ribs were the best we have ever eaten & we are from tn. cornbread was great, wings made me want more, shrimp taco was great, burger was great, pulled pork sand was great. kettle chips were good & fried okra was very good in buttermilk batter. nice drink specials. we will be back! they are open for lunch & have daily specials. tonight it was a smoked/fried chicken. chicken is smoked for a very long time then battered in buttermilk/flour & deep fried. yummy sounding huh? it is off season so we got right in & were served promptly by a very patient/friendly waiter as i tried to decide what i really wanted to eat--there are a lot good choices. we were sent here by some trusted locals that eat there 2 x week. i am ever greatful for their direction. reilley's is right next door which sounded good but, i am glad we went in here instead. atmosphere is really relaxed & family friendly

shrimp taco. grilled shrimp glazed in a hot asian sauce. topped with lettace, pico de gallo, and a slice of avacado.

nice for the price. we had a burger and pulled chicken sandwich, which were reasonably priced. the barbecue sauce was very tasty. both were good, nothing incredibly special. there was no wait on a saturday night which was nice. it had a sports bar feel, and overall clean atmosphere.

get the pork. brisket was extremely tender, but had almost no taste. ribs were pretty good, but pulled pork was outstanding. service was ok at best. being a texas bbq bigot, i'd come back.
