never again. after a 45 minute wait to be seated we were definately hungry. the first disappointment was learning the menu on the web site had not been updated so the one vegetarian item we chose thr list resturant for was no longer being offered. the service was okay, he food was okay, nothing special

this place is a must when on hhi. great q with plenty of options. sauces are great and a very attentive wait staff even on a busy night.

food was fantastic! we had salads to start and then great ribs, smoked fried chicken and the chocolate pecan pie was unbelievable. megan our server was really awesome and made the experience great for our family! look fwd to going there again!

bring e'rybody!. just ate here for dinner and it was amazing! we had to wait an hour, but we had read the reviews and decided this is where we were going to eat. i got a combo- smoked fried chicken and smoked brisket, both of which i must say were the best i've ever eaten. the only thing that wasn't super great was the fries, but i was actually glad because i had so much to eat i couldn't eat them anyways. my wife got the pulled pork and she liked hers well. the bite i had wasn't blow-me-away like the chicken and brisket, but it was still really good. definitely going back- it sounds like their wings are also amazing.

we actually came here twice, the first time was for their brunch buffet which was just a teaser of good things to come.  i’ll focus on our dinner for this writing. originally we wanted to order 2 of the best bbq combos and try each of the pulled pork, sliced beef brisket, rib tips, and smoked fried chicken.  unfortunately they were out of the rib tips, which is a popular item, so we got the pulled pork and brisket together and an order of the baby back ribs with the smoked fried chi

delicious!. turned up at 5 to avoid the wait and so glad we did. simply delicious. smoked fried chicken is like nothing i've ever had and the brisket was like butter - just melted away on the tongue.

we had an excellent experience at one hot mama's! the ribs with the hot asian sauce were absolutely awesome!! we did have to wait a while, but we had a party of seven, and we ended up waiting thirty minutes less than estimated. our server was very attentive and helpful, allowing us to sample sauces before choosing which we wanted to order. great food, great experience!

hilton head offers some great eats but ohm takes the cake. atmosphere is great inside the restaurant, service was excellent too. but oh lord the food, intense portions, fantastic hot sauces, incredible ribs, brisket, and wings, and literally the best cooked baked potato i've ever had. i'll come back to hilton head just to eat here. but on top of all that, it's part of the barmuda triangle, which is a small courtyard that five restaurants share with one another to create a downtown strip style experience for nightlife only fifty feet from one another. we stepped next door to reilys outdoor bar and caught a killer band after for free!

beware. service wasn't great, especially since i had to flag server more than once.
2nd time was to ask about fried onions that were suppose to be on my burger.
she said slicer broke in kitchen after i had ordered. interesting that no one felt the need to tell me.
manager did, however, take off $2.75 (cost of onions) from our bill.
should also mention that the building was just barely cool.
not a great experience.

great food, great service, and a great family place. we had 18 people (including 9 kids) and food came out quick and everything was delicious. our waiter rob did a great job and the other staff helped as well. it's located in a cool little plaza with other bars and restaurants. great bbq! highly recommended!

food was amazing. we went to this restaurant because of the reviews. we were amazed at how good the food was. i had wings as an appetizer then had a full rack of ribs. best ribs and wings i have ever had. my wife had a salad and hamburger with bleu cheese and was the best hamburger she ever had. waitress was very pleasant. the food was so good the last full day we spent on hilton head we went back. food was just as good the second time. make sure you visit when you are in town.

i dont want this taste to leave my mouth. the food was amazing!!! everything we ate was delicious!!! cornbread stuffing...wow!!! sweet potato fries...soooo yummy! brisket...juicy and tender! but the chicken...i don't normally order chicken, but something inside of me said to try the smoked fried chicken

my husband and i drive down every year for one hot mamas bbq. it's absolutely amazing and never disappoints us. our server veronica was fantastic. not only was she knowledgable about the menu, we never wanted for a thing, always checked on us, extremely friendly. one of the best servers we have had while dining on hilton head! one hot mamas never seams to disappoint us. we look forward to it every year we come down!

great lunch!. we tried the wings with the "hot asian" sauce. they were excellent. i tried the big daddy and wasn't disappointed. first time i've had brisket that moist. it was excellent. my wife ate the rib tips and finished. that just doesn't happen. service was quite good. it's obvious they get busy. we were there in the off season and it was still near capacity. so, plan accordingly.

great food. i have never heard of bbq fried chicken however it was great and so was the fried shrimp. the service kinda lacked though.
