food is amazing"!. ok so maybe the service could use some work but the food more than makes up for it. we come here every year on vacation and find ourselves sneaking in to this place 1,2,3 times in a week. it is that good. we have never tried the pork because the friend chicken - especially the kids - is soooooooooo good. theribsare great and sometimes we just get the burger because it is well.....awesome! so many southern places are nothing but grease and salt, but not this. hghly recommend.

we get to go from one hot mamas pretty often and everytime it is delicious! love theirribsand lemon pepper wings! shannon helped us out tonight and she is always a pleasure! very friendly and always has a smile on her face! thanks one hot!

very good. i'm not a big meat eater, but shared an order of chocolateribsas a starter and just about licked my plate clean. good family place.

still licking fingers. where to begin its all amazing the server was quick attentive and knew the menu inside and out from both a what's what perspective and the more important personal knowledge of how each dish tasted. the decore was nice, very vibrant and bold, hard to place exactly how it feels but it works wonderfully. from the management perspective it was easy to see who was running the place, its fantastic to see the effort to help that i saw tonight planing how flow was to go and keeping communication active to all the servers.

now for the most important part the food, presentation wasn't fancy which was good it felt like a good, overflowing plate of good food which it was. the table had chickenribsand a shrimp taco. theribswere soft enough that when i tried to cut the first one to pick it up the fork come out with a chunk of beautifully cooked pork. a nice thin crust provided the smoky and rich bbq flavour lying in wait under a sweat bbq sauce. the chicken was what i always imagined southern fried chicken, i cant explain how good this is other than i was picking at the coating for 10 min after i was "full". the taco was great, spicy with a little sweet twist and was very fresh.

i will recommend this openly to friends relatives and complete strangers while im down here. i will be in this area for the next month, i might actually try and finish this menu before i leave.

a new favorite. we have been vacationing in hilton head for several years, but we just tried one hot mama's for the first time on this trip. the atmosphere was pretty neat and the staff was friendly. we love wings, so we asked the host what flavors he recommended. he suggested the award-winning hot asian or maui wowii wings, which are both grilled. i prefer fried wings, so i ordered the ranchenero and italian stallion wings with a side of fries. the italian stallion wings were delicious and i would definitely order them again. the ranchenero wings were also good, but they were very spicy (although the menu warns you of that). i like a good bit of spice so they were still edible to me, but some may find the spice a bit much. i found it difficult to taste any ranch flavor because the spice was so overwhelming. the fries and ranch were very good also, and the carrots and celery were a nice touch (and helped cool down the wings). my dad orderedribswith slaw and french fries. he really enjoyed the entire meal, and said that theribsmay be the best he's ever had. my mom tried the hot asian wings, which she loved. i tried a bite of them also, and i thought they were very good. just the right amount of sweet and heat. we were very pleased with our experience at one hot mama's and will definitely be back next year. it's a new hilton head favorite!

we actually came here twice, the first time was for their brunch buffet which was just a teaser of good things to come.  i’ll focus on our dinner for this writing. originally we wanted to order 2 of the best bbq combos and try each of the pulled pork, sliced beef brisket, rib tips, and smoked fried chicken.  unfortunately they were out of the rib tips, which is a popular item, so we got the pulled pork and brisket together and an order of the baby backribswith the smoked fried chi

we had an excellent experience at one hot mama's! theribswith the hot asian sauce were absolutely awesome!! we did have to wait a while, but we had a party of seven, and we ended up waiting thirty minutes less than estimated. our server was very attentive and helpful, allowing us to sample sauces before choosing which we wanted to order. great food, great experience!

food was amazing. we went to this restaurant because of the reviews. we were amazed at how good the food was. i had wings as an appetizer then had a full rack of ribs. bestribsand wings i have ever had. my wife had a salad and hamburger with bleu cheese and was the best hamburger she ever had. waitress was very pleasant. the food was so good the last full day we spent on hilton head we went back. food was just as good the second time. make sure you visit when you are in town.

glad we tried it... my husband is a chef, so we are picky...we were very surprised. the 1 1/2 hour wait at 7:30 wasn't welcoming, but the hostess pointed out the 4 chairs at the bar that were just vacated, so we grab them (with our 16 year daughter and friend). they were out of tortilla shells (grocery store anyone?) blamed it on kids eat free thursday. the chocolateribs- wow, very interesting. everything was enjoyable -wine selection was not. we will return to try other things.

our waitress, ashley, is without question the best at ohm. and the food here is fabulous. you will not get better bbqribsanywhere! thanks ohm and thanks ashley for making this evening a very good one. hope to see you next time.

outstanding!!!!. 1st time to hilton head and one hot mama's. awesome atmosphere! awesome management and waitresses. have eatenribsin 30 different states.ribsat ohm are the best i ever had. my wife had the brisket and it was outstanding. flavorful and falling apart! my daughter is gluten free and this was the easiest and most accomidating experience to date. out waitress sophi and the manager were wonderful. they took extra care to ensure my daughters food was cooked properly. sophi, even pointed out the special would be a better deal and provide more food. to some it up, if you are in the hilton head area, i really encourage you to stop in! our next trip to hh and all our friends that come will be going to ohm.

good points and bad points. i tried the chocolate bbqribson a whim, and while i enjoyed the dimension that chocolate added to the sauce, i felt it tasted rather flat. not overwhelmingly chocolatey, not like i had hershey's syrup poured over the ribs, but just missing that usual spicy or vinegary punch most goodribshave. my citrus pecan salad was abysmal- lettuce was wilted and blackening on the edges, strawberries were overripe bordering on spoiled, and the dressing was waaay too sweet. i did enjoy the jalapeno honey corn bread- wasn't very spicy or too big, which was nice. the slaw was pretty much shredded cabbage and carrots- very little flavor or dressing to hold it together. i'm sure kids like it, so probably a good choice for families, but i could steer clear next time and not be upset.

very flavorful food!. made 2 trips here during our week stay. anxious to try more items on the menu! we have tried the wings. the hot asian are the best me and my wife have ever ate!! and we are both big wing fans. we also tried the brisket. outstanding!! and last but not least , theribs.... ohhhhh the ribs. mouthwatering!! and the flavor of the bbq sauce is perfect! this will be a definite stop from now on every trip to hh from now on! and the prices are very reasonable!
