food is amazing"!. ok so maybe the service could use some work but the food more than makes up for it. we come here every year on vacation and find ourselves sneaking in to thisplace1,2,3 times in a week. it is that good. we have never tried the pork because the friend chicken - especially the kids - is soooooooooo good. the ribs are great and sometimes we just get the burger because it is well.....awesome! so many southern places are nothing but grease and salt, but not this. hghly recommend.

nightlife!. if you want good food and night-life this is theplaceto go!

still licking fingers. where to begin its all amazing the server was quick attentive and knew the menu inside and out from both a what's what perspective and the more important personal knowledge of how each dish tasted. the decore was nice, very vibrant and bold, hard toplaceexactly how it feels but it works wonderfully. from the management perspective it was easy to see who was running the place, its fantastic to see the effort to help that i saw tonight planing how flow was to go and keeping communication active to all the servers.

now for the most important part the food, presentation wasn't fancy which was good it felt like a good, overflowing plate of good food which it was. the table had chicken ribs and a shrimp taco. the ribs were soft enough that when i tried to cut the first one to pick it up the fork come out with a chunk of beautifully cooked pork. a nice thin crust provided the smoky and rich bbq flavour lying in wait under a sweat bbq sauce. the chicken was what i always imagined southern fried chicken, i cant explain how good this is other than i was picking at the coating for 10 min after i was "full". the taco was great, spicy with a little sweet twist and was very fresh.

i will recommend this openly to friends relatives and complete strangers while im down here. i will be in this area for the next month, i might actually try and finish this menu before i leave.

thisplaceis the bomb. it’s tasty, it’s inexpensive (portions were too large for me to finish at lunch time). they accommodated my large party of 11 very quickly and without a fuss. the waitress was lovely and very quick to refill and help us with everything even though the time of our visit was odd (3:30) some places ignore you during this time y’all but not this place. we love it we come to hhi every year and this will be added to our “must eat list”. the brisket is awesome and that mustard sauce they have is divine (like you’ll want to buy it and dip everything you eat in it... forever..)

awesomeplaceto eat service was fast,and great food. we will definitely go back our next visit to the island. waiter was very nice and respectful.

i usually don't like ribs but these are very good ones ! chicken wings can be better though. waiters are nice and funny too! niceplace!

i've been coming to the island for 20 years now and by far the best wings on the island. award winning sauces really taste like award winning sauces and the spice is accurate. ordered to go so i can't speak to the service but theplacewas packed when i showed up and the food i saw looked legit. i will definitely be back

overall, one hot mama's is a greatplaceto catch a game if you are a fan of wings and do not mind a noisy atmosphere, overpriced food, and hurried service.

thisplaceis a must go. i ordered the bbq sampler. excellant! the fried oakra i had as a side was probably the best ive ever had.
we also ordered 25 wings with verious sauces. they were equally as good
a++ on this place!

thisplaceis a must when on hhi. great q with plenty of options. sauces are great and a very attentive wait staff even on a busy night.

my dad drug me here, and it's more of a bar. which is kinda depressing considering i'm 19. my parents don't drink and i'm not old enough to. it was pointless to come here. this is not aplacefor families.

don't go here. it started off with my wife's meal came with a receipt under her food. the waiter was more concern about closing down the beverage area then waiting on my family. he never came back to ask if we wanted refills or if everything was ok. don't get the reuben sandwich!!!!!! it came with three layers of bread little meat no thousand island sauce. this has to be the worstplaceto eat in hilton head island. they started to close at 9:30 pm.when i was leaving i asked the person at the door for a toothpick he looked at me with a toothpick in his mouth and told me "what toothpick" i said like the one in your mouth he said" what" and he didn't help me. thisplaceis a minus 1.

great food. the food was great-- ribs were awesome. service was really good too. the prices were very reasonable especially the lunch menu. the portions were quite large-- especially for the $$. thisplacewas recommended to us by a local. would definitely go there again next time in hilton head.

meh. went for a late lunch on sunday. even though theplacewas nearly empty, we weren't greeted at the entrance and only got some attention once we sat ourselves at the bar. the bartender/server was very nice and did her best to handle the entireplaceby herself. i ordered the fried chicken which was decent. the macaroni & cheese i chose for my sides were awful. the greens were so overdone and sweet that i couldn't eat them. the mac and cheese had definitely been sitting around for awhile. the feeling i got was that the owner of thisplaceis totally checked out.
