love everything they make, and love being able to see them at work... wish they didn't run out of range so early in the afternoon. came late afternoon a couple hours before closing and they were completely sold out.

absolutely love this little cake shop! my favourite cheesecake. i've loved everything i've tried here. you just can't go wrong! if only there were seats here.

an adorable, tiny bakery tucked in a quiet, hidden, narrow laneway. the perfect slices of ny cheesecake looked ever so tempting in the display cabinet, but i was advised that it should be eaten within 2 hours out of the fridge, so i ended up getting a milk chocolate macadamia brownie instead. it was extremely fudgy and gooey, with intense chocolate flavour. there were chunks of milk chocolate throughout the brownie, and there were also heaps of large macadamia pieces, providing a great crunch to every bite. an excellent rendition of a brownie!

very enjoyable sweet during the busy working day afternoon. we tried mascarpone cake and cheesecake, extremely delicious. mascarpone cheese layer is soft, plus sliced fresh strawberry and coconut slice inside and on the top. different taste mix very well. the ny style lemon cheesecake is my love. taste very light, not heavy at all. it's the must try sweet in sydney cbd.

the bessssst cheesecake i have ever had. it was so smooth and delicate, i regret not getting 2 or 3. will definitely will be back for more

none of the famous cheesecake available so i have a piece of ruby's cake and it was great - mostly mousse with lots of flavour and just a bit of crust that stuck to the bottom. stupidly expensive for such a tiny piece of cake though and i hated their rigmarole of taping a tiny piece of cake into a box and then putting it in a bag. i folded up the packaging as tight as i could get it and it was still five times the size of the cake. so wasteful.

ok so i really enjoyed their specialty cake. 5+ as i thought the cream strawberry was refreshing with the layer of meringue and caramalised sugar. however my husband found it a little to sweet for his liking. if you’re a sweet tooth like me, lorraine’s would be a 100% guaranteed satisfaction 😋 ps: purchased the cake oct 2019! #throwback

come for the lemon tart - it is sensational. would have given a rating of 5 but i also had the rhubarb pie - the pastry was fantastic (as expected)but the filling was skimpy and the mountain of sugar crystals on top made the pie so sweet that it was almost inedible. extraordinary that the tart could be so fantastic and pie so disappointing.

i guess my expectations were a bit high when reading all those reviews, i wasn't a big fan of the cheesecake, the lemon tarte was too soft and the brownie was a bit dry. and a smile wouldn't hurt.

tried the coconut mascarpone cake and it was really fresh.they have a lot of varieties to choose from.a bit over priced compared to other cake shops but the taste makes up for it.

this patisserie, tucked away in the cbd, looks fantastic, and the reviews (many of them) are so good, i’ll have to come back to try some of their cake. it is charming to watch the industry of the open kitchen, and the cakes they had on display were so very pretty. i just grabbed a croissant, and had high hopes for it, but … it … was … just a croissant. not terrible, but not a standout. obviously, i should come back to try other treats.

toffee vanilla choux pastry, paris brest (hazelnut cream) and pearidiso (?). the choux pastry and paris brest were both absolutely delightful. perfect sweetness level, beautiful to look at and great textural components with cream, dough and toffee caramel flavours. i personally didn’t like the yellow one as much with its chocolate coating and lemon cream filling as it lacked a wow factor for me.
