very enjoyablesweetduring the busy working day afternoon. we tried mascarpone cake and cheesecake, extremely delicious. mascarpone cheese layer is soft, plus sliced fresh strawberry and coconut slice inside and on the top. different taste mix very well. the ny style lemon cheesecake is my love. taste very light, not heavy at all. it's the must trysweetin sydney cbd.

ok so i really enjoyed their specialty cake. 5+ as i thought the cream strawberry was refreshing with the layer of meringue and caramalised sugar. however my husband found it a little tosweetfor his liking. if you’re asweettooth like me, lorraine’s would be a 100% guaranteed satisfaction 😋 ps: purchased the cake oct 2019! #throwback

come for the lemon tart - it is sensational. would have given a rating of 5 but i also had the rhubarb pie - the pastry was fantastic (as expected)but the filling was skimpy and the mountain of sugar crystals on top made the pie sosweetthat it was almost inedible. extraordinary that the tart could be so fantastic and pie so disappointing.

the mascarpone cake tasted amazing! such a delight to try. love the caramelised top and the balance that the fresh strawberries provide. definitely wish to go again and try anothersweettreat sometime soon. this place would be a 5/5 if seating were available but i guess we can’t have everything.

had their cheesecake, very light and not too heavy! not a strong flavor but a nice and creamy creation! i love how it’s not toosweetso you don’t feel like stuffed at the end of it

a small bakery shop in cbd, it's on a quiet and narrow street. almost all of the space in the shop is used for baking. seating is not available. and sometimes people queue outside to get a piece of cake!

the most famous cake is the #strawberry mascarpone# . the best thing is that the cake does not tastes verysweetbut the cream is pretty nice!

my friend tried #cheese cake#, which is also delicious.

it would be better if there were some seats in the shop so that we could sit and enjoy the cake.

.🍰toffee vanilla choux puff🍰
on the outside, the caramel is crunchy andsweetwhile the vanilla cream inside is fluffy and light. this creates a unique texture which i enjoyed very much. highly recommended!!!

🍰macadamia salted caramel chocolate tart🍰
well, what can i say..... i just love everything that has to do with salted caramel. this tart is very chocolaty but not toosweetas the sweetness is balanced out by the salty taste.

best mascarpone cake ever!!! to my surprise, this cake was not sweetening at all. every ingredient blended together so well that it created a happy marriage of flavours. thesweetstrawberries, the light mascarpone cream, the refreshing coconut dacquoise layer and the crunchy brulee layer at the top.....so delicious!

🍰 ruby's cake🍰
perfect layers of orange scented choc mousse, hazelnut dacquoise, choc hazelnut crisp, vanilla mousse and cinnamon meringue. the thing i love about this cake is that it has so many layers of flavours and yet they blended together wonderfully in unison. i especially enjoyed the crunchy hazelnut crisp, it adds a delicate touch to the cake.

the cakes here are on another level❤️❤️ love love love how the flavours of the cakes are not too sugary or overlysweetwhich is a problem i find in a lot of other cake shops. the cakes here are so light and fluffy that my fork just glided through them! and don't even get me started on the cream of the cake. i can rave all day about lorraine patisserie. literally heaven in the form of a cake.

the strawberry mascarpone cake is amazing!❤ i highly recommend you to try this cake💕 this cake is not toosweetand light. the mascarpone is really delicious, the crisp coconut dacquoise was crunchy, and the strawberry adds extra freshness to the cake. i will definitely go back to try another cake!

one of those places where you eat with your eyes. almost a secret the way it's hidden in plain sight but the lovelysweettreats in the display are so tempting. i stuck with a chocolate croissant. it was buttery and flakey but adequately moist. had the right balance of crunch and yield. not for chocoholics. there was just enough chocolate to get a little bit in most bites.

lorraine's patisserie is unquestionably the #1 bakery in sydney. the patisserie makes several small batches of eachsweetdelight at various times of the day. hence, you can taste the freshness and the crunchiness of the cakes and tarts. my favourites are the rhubarb pie and strawberry mascarpone (sold out very early).

unlike black star where the strawberry watermelon cake tastes like an inconvenience marriage of three separate sections (strawberry, watermelon slice and cake), the mascarpone cake is a holy union of pure delight.

visited here after seeing the reviews on zomato. reached around 5 in the evening they didn't have much left tried the raspberry tart and the ruby cake. the tart was good the biscuit base a bit hard after refrigerating it. the ruby cake was lovely it was light and creamy. it's a caramel dessert but overlysweetthankfully.

need to go back and try the mascarpone cake that this place is so famous for.

its one of the best pastry so for and it's very affordable 👌👌 tofee & blackberry i love it not toosweetand not too plain 😊 ... i'm coming back for sure ☺ . i just need to make sure come early 'coz the products are easily run out even they close at 6:30pm . but in total its awesome for me :)

their pastries are amazing! beautifully presented. it is true that you eat with your eyes, when i saw them in the shop i wanted to try them all! luckily (or unlucky) for me, i went in the afternoon, and a lot of items were already sold out, and not many selections were left to choose from. i opted for the chocolate eclair and the blueberry & white chocolate choux bun. the choc eclair was hands down the best choc eclair i've ever had. it was layered with different textures and variation of chocolates, with a light choc creme filling, a dark choc coating of the top pastry, and the choc coated crunchy malt balls on top. the best thing was the caramelised whole hazelnuts hidden inside the creme filling. the choux bun was great too. with a distinct red coating on top, the white choc creme was not toosweetnor heavy, and the addition of the blueberry jam inside gave it great contrast and balance. i can't wait to go back and try the rest of their offerings!

i'm impressed with their mascarpone cake! crunchy and creamy but not overlysweetat all. i can eat this cake everyday:) i also had chocolate cake and lemon cheese cake which were both okay. i was expecting ny style cheese cake to be more rich and dense but it was fluffy like air. chocolate cake was a bit toosweetfor me, but i liked the bottom part has a different texture. i will come back here just for the mascarpone cake next time!
