downtown treat. kitchen no. 324 is trendy, open, and shiny. the place was packed at 10:30 on sat. morning and thewaitwas approx. 45 min. there is a barista on duty for drinks or pastries (think starbucks) and access to an outdoor plaza where one can wait. we had coffee, mocha, and an apple fritter on the plaza before we were seated and chose to eat outside as well at the tables located there (one should take the oklahoma wind into account). the entrees chosen were navy bean soup, yukon potato salad, aromatic chicken salad, and roasted carrots w/ local honey for our sixteen-month-old. all of these were delicious. the carrots were cooked crispy, and our daughter could not manage them; however, at our request, the chef cooked a new order that was perfectly done for a small child with a few teeth. our server was efficient, pleasant, and professional. in short, we will most definitely return to this gem in okc's reawakening downtown.
