kitchen no. 324

i had been here for breakfast and loved it. now that i've been here for dinner, i will not come back. the food just wasn't very good. our server was a snot and tried to make up for it.

classy. great food, beautiful place, nice service.

don't go here if you are on a time schedule. arrived right before 6, were seated immediately, only two other tables in restaurant during the time we were there. thought we had plenty of time to eat & make it to the theatre for a 7:30 performance. had to wave down to order. husband ordered coffee, it arrived at 6:40. two of us ordered an appetizer for dinner, two ordered entree's. they arrived right after the coffee. at that point my daughter ordered the $16.00 chocolate mousse. the manager asked how things were & we told him that it was slow & we were in a hurry. he said it was because we ordered appetizers??? the meal was average, the mousse was terrible, seemed simply like whipped cream with grated chocolate in it. a huge chunk of chocolate, the size of a small fig was in the middle of it. we barely got out of there by 7:10.

somebody's cup of tea. i would have to call this one of the trendiest brunch places i've ever been to. i think the concept is neat and the quality is good but i don't like poached eggs. i wish that they prepared eggs some other way but alas they don't. there is very limited flexibility from the menu...kind of an "our way or the highway response." bacon while good and flavorful but was limp (like mine crispy, especially on a blt). while i understand the appeal of this place, can't say we'd likely go back.

great for weekend brunch. ordered the fried green tomato eggs benedict--excellent. great potatoes. strong house coffee. chorizo biscuits and gravy--good concept but had some room for improvement (the biscuit was homemade, but a little dry, and the chorizo didn't have too much zing). atmosphere was modern yet comfortable. daniel was an excellent server.

the restaurant is right downtown, but there is plenty of street parking. it was busy on sunday morning, but we were seated immediately. they do take reservations, so it may be wise to call ahead.

would highly recommend.

great atmosphere, great food!. i drove up all the way from norman to let my mom experience kitchen 324, and after tasting the coffee, she knew why. it was fantastic! i had the bacon and monterey jack strata. yummmm.... not only is the food tasty, but also well presented. i'll be going back. :)

ok but priced higher than i'd like. i looked at the menu quickly, it was very pretty, the place is very pretty and bright, but the prices are higher than i want to pay. i ordered two butter croissants to go with the lunch i had prepared for myself and a friend. i specifically asked if they were butter croissants or if they had filling and was assured they were butter only.... they weren't. they were good, but chocolate chips didn't go well with the tuna salad i brought for lunch. grabbing something to go instead of dining in seemed to be inconvenient for the person who took my order. i am unlikely to return even though its 1/2 a block away.

loved it !. stopped in while visiting tjr downtown memorial, not far from it . delicious food, good service and very upscale and modern atmosphere.

i highly recommend their cat head buscuit with chorizo gravy. amazinggggggg! and their cinnamon rolls and blueberry donut is amazing as well. yummy! must try.

been here several times and it never fails: the food is great, the decor is awesome

meh. first time we tried to go here, we were turned away because they were out of breakfast food and weren't wanting to serve lunch yet.

second time was for lunch. okay, but no better than a cafe at a hospital or mall.

last night for dinner: $5 for a piece of bread that looked like from frozen dough. no thanks jack. since no bread, could not drink wine on an empty stomach, so when i was ready for wine, the waiter was too busy sweeping the floor to ask us what we needed, even though my husband had his hand in the air for several minutes. okay. never mind. food was bland and very dry. i ate it because i was starving.

had dessert and wine at another restaurant. hubbie told me that three people looked right at him with his hand in the air and completely ignored him.

with the exception of cheevers and red, i am completely over the good egg group. i hear 24 is good for breakfast. but i think it's just a glorified ihop.

chicken pot pie. came here at 2/11/2014 at 1:00 pm. two of us got the chicken pot pie. the pie had a good crust, and a good broth inside.the fried chicken drumstick they put in is mediocre, it had an average batter and the meat was not even warm i guess it wasn't cooked to order? another friend got the braised beef, it was good.

did anyone give this waitress training?
besides the food, our waitress was bad. cups of water was empty for a long time had to wave her down for service. she cleaned the table next to us and actually sprayed me and my friend with the table cleaner, while we're eating. she didn't even notice until i said something. so we get table cleaner on us and our food. when we were checking out my waitress failed moving my chicken drumstick with a fork back on the plate to take away, failed because she would not touch it "uhhh....i'm not touching that" word for word. so i did her job for her and picked up the bone. it was a clean bone and she was acting like there was sauce all over it. even if it was covered in sauce, it's still your job to clean up. the customer service experience the worst i've had in a long time. it felt like her attitude was she was doing us a favor by being there. we did not feel welcome.

good food good service. i have been to kitchen no. 324 several times for breakfast. each time the food and service have both been outstanding.

absolutely love this place. the chocolate bread pudding is the best dessert i've ever had.

beautiful restaurant with a delightful atmosphere. i ordered the special of the day it was steak and huevos ranchero's, and a cappuccino, while my husband had the strata with the house coffee. we also ordered the joenut(croissant/doughnut)to go, it was amazing! we plan to visit again soon, glad we tried this.
