had the petite skewers, pad thai and panang curry with chicken thighs. although every dish packed a lot of flavours but panang curry had too much coconut cream that was overwhelming and all dishes were too sweet. dishes lacked the authentic simplicity of traditional thai food, however when mentioned, i was informed it was intentially tailored to suit western tastes hence the sweetness and unbalanced amplified flavours. i believe this place could be better if more traditional thai cuisine was practiced and offered, as we no longer have much authentic tastes in brisbane. food should not be matching generic westernised standards to other restaurants or any food court. i can finally say, yes food still taste good, decor is excellent with pleasing atmosphere and friendly staff; menus, serviettes and plating are all great... just missing a touch of traditional authenticity. so far as a new restaurant i give it 5.5/10 and hoping to try it again later to taste more dishes.

beautifully photogenic dishes and drinks.. i was lucky enough to visit this restaurant with 6 others. we were spoilt for choice with all the menu options on offer so it was great that we could order a wide selection of dishes and share them between us. i rarely eat thai food as i generally don't tolerate hot/spicy foods well, however by taking strategic sips of my refreshing lychee mocktail, i managed to eat a bit of every dish we ordered; and they were delicious. the dining atmosphere was nice; however there was a long horizontal wall mirror in front of me which was slightly off-putting. the staff were very polite and attentive on the evening of our visit.

worst service in brisbane i've had!. booked in advance, ten minutes late as we lined up for ten minutes. the person basically said you're too late i gave away your table of 8! he did not offer for us to wait for a new table and just continued to serve others waiting in line who did not book ahead. i asked why he did not call me and he said he did. i confirmed that i did not receive a call and he said "yeah i was busy." i then asked if we could wait for another table, he said sure but said i can only fit you on that table after those guests leave. then i pointed out that they had not even begun to order. he said oh well.
very difficult on a saturday night to fit 7 adults plus a toddler at this time of night. did not try the food but terrible service.

ruined what was going to be a great evening. we thought we try the new thai restaurant at garden city. as we approached the music sounded like a rave party was going off. when asked if we would like to sit inside or outside, i asked to be seated wherever the music was quietest. we were seated under a speaker that sounded like we were inside a drum kit.

we perused the menu, and decided what we would order. while attempting to order the young waitress could barely hear what i was saying. i asked if it were possible to do something about the music and again she couldn't hear me, so we got up and left, and went to a fabulous nearby thai restaurant that we frequent.

definitely ruined a rare romantic night out for a couple with children at home.

green curry - beef. love the curry but the beef is a bit hard. i think i chicken will taste better

great food & excellent service & nice ambience. food is very nice, fast to served too. the only cons about food is portion is not big. service is quick and excellent, attentive and friendly waitress despite busy crowd. highly recommended!

definitely recommend the calamari and the spicy noodles w/ beef! incredible! service was great, staff are very friendly. great vibe. will be returning!
