i think my experience for this restaurant was mixed, just like the focus of the food from this place. overall it was decent, the decor was interesting mix of chinese and japanese themed.
the stone grill was kinda a knockoff of grizzly house in banff, not as flavourful, the pressed sushi fell apart, normally a gelatin is used but they just put liquid sauce, causing the rice to fall apart. the chicken and beef charcoal grill was ok, portion and value was decent but the only good taste was the sesame sauce it came with.
i enjoyed the deep fried mochi, but if a thicker teriyaki sauce was used would definitely taste better, masking the taste of unsettled deep fryer oil.
i think they also do other dishes but i think there's no theme or direction with the restaurant, especially when siracha bottles are part of the decor.
the entrance is hard to spot and parking was difficult to locate. overall if i was to go back... i'd probably not go back as just like all the chinese take out places, thisplaceis trying to cover too many dishes, and feed you by volume, for a higher price.
