fantastic restaurant, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you cross the threshold you see a dramatic change.

the sushi is the best i've had in calgary, presentation was fantastic, and the fish was fresh and the portions were generous.

i will definitely be coming back soon.

wow wow wow !!! ke is exceptional the food is truly high quality, we enjoyed every dish we ordered. they have a rooftop patio so it was amazing to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and sun while eating some of the freshest and biggest pieces of sushi and sashimi i have ever had. we ordered an assortment of appetizers: gyoza and salads but phenomenal and full of flavour. in addition to rolls, sashimi and sushi pieces, all made amazing and full of flavour. we also tried some of the meat on sticks and really enjoyed the chicken thighs, pork belly and beef. beers are $5 the house beer and sapporo were both great. i can’t wait to go back and try more !! great spot for a group of people to share various dishes.

heard this place been open for 3months. me and my friend first time checking out.
the interior is very beautiful.you can tell they really wanted to make you feel welcome,and they make sure of it when they all greet you when you walk in the door.
we started off with a pint of sapporo and gift edamame.it was so good beer and edamame go together.we order a lot of yakitori. yakitori is amazing.my favourite was the pork belly and the pork neck(highly recommend.)which was hot in temperature and fatty.also the momo and beef tough are very tasty.
the food and service is amazing.i wish i could rate this place more then 5stars.i cannot wait to go back!

came here for the first time tonight. ordered the anugs beef roll, truffle shrimp tempura, calamari, chicken teriyaki and a few other things. what really stood out was the sushi rolls and shrimp tempura! everything was fresh, fast with friendly service. at the end they even gave a box of pocky chocolate with the bill! will be back soon!

absolutely loved the experience. the stone grilled ribeye was juicy and tasty. the oysters were also really fresh and at a reasonable price too. the atmosphere was really unique. the only thing that needs improvement is the parking lot. other than that, i will definitely return to try more of their stone grilled items!

the price is good and tasty also is awesome
when i come in, every staff say something like irratshyaiii? i felt they are energitic

tasty & lots of options, but cost adds up quickly. time your visit - there are different specials daily. we liked the veggies & the dips. unfortunately the beef was over-cooked (3.5/5).

fast and friendly service, with the grilled food being especially delicious. couldn't get enough of the okra with miso mustard sauce on top. the sushi was fresh as well and i enjoy the seared salmon sashimi. would absolutely come back.

i came here a few months ago, but came across it on zomato just today. i couldn't help but review it. i still remember what an amazing experience i had. the food was amazing and the service was great. definitely a place i would return to. so happy kinjo and ke charcoal grill opened up tokyo street market too!! thank you for the delicious food in my belly!!

i've never tried squid in sushi until i ordered from ke charcoal grill. that, with a bit of unagi sauce, is now one of my favourite sushi rolls! i also love that they offer rectangular (and spicy!) sushi, the presentation is fantastic

terrible customer service. very rude lady manager/staff who insisted on checking id for gender to get pocky at the end of the meal. did not offer apology until we explicitly said we don't give a shit about a box of pocky. she did very well defending her box of pocky, but if you're going to be rude, at least use your brain to know that it's not worth 0% tip.also, they hide negative reviews on facebook.

the staff here are very friendly and the restaurant has a pretty cool rooftop patio that’s great for people watching on 14th st.
now for the sushi... not great. lobster sushi is actually a very peppery lobster salad mix. geisha roll was ok but too much mayonnaise. the sashimi was average as it didn’t taste super fresh. i must say that my biggest disappointment was the beef tataki 😒 the beef itself was done nicely but then covered in a sauce that i found to be quite flavourless with lettuce on top and roasted garlic chips everywhere. it was a bizarre combo that just didn’t work for me.
decent prices here but i am not a fan.

ke is outstanding. the service is quick, the food is fresh and always delicious. i like that the portions are small so you can pick and choose different things to try. their yakitori selection is extensive and they have bomb fresh oysters.

food is good and made fresh upon order. service is less than optimal. slow and out of sequence. seems that they are unstaffed and our server is always not available or around. we had to flag other servers for help.

amazing place, great atmosphere. kitchen staff are really friendly and funny. yakitori is amazing for a good price. sushi is really good as well.
