f for fail!. so disappointed with the management of this restaurant/pub. took my family up for a lunch which included my 14 month old daughter. owner of the pub made a rude remark about the noises my daughter was making. these were typical infant sounds while sitting in her high chair. not screaming the place down that's for sure! when confronted about the rude remark, the management was even more rude and argumentative. couldn't believe it!
customer service = fail!
you won't be seeing me or my family again.

eading out to a country pub on a sunday is something that i (nathan) find myself doing a lot more recently. it's an opportunity to get out of the city, experience some new food and take in some of adelaide's great scenery. the  inglewood inn  is one that has intrigued me everytime i have driven past as the car park is always full. this is generally a good sign for a country venue. we decided to book a table one sunday lunch and give it a go.

deep fried salad?. if you want pub-grub at fine restaurant prices - you'll love this place. we went to the inglewood inn because of a few people had mentioned they liked it, they website looks good, the setting is great, the view is outstanding so when we ordered the seafood platter we were totally shocked with the a very boring, tastless, everything deep fried experience. it wasn't beer battered, but they have a fine selection of beers? you might as well have battered and deep fried the salad too - sorry guys, won't be back.

very disappointed. went for a birthday dinner. we were the first there yet the last served. we had two small children who were hungry - not cool. had to ask twice for water to the table, no drinks service to out table yet everyone else did? we had a birthday cake that we asked them to bring out three times. after 45 minutes and with tired children we were over it, told them to forget it and paid the bill. spoke to the manageress about it and were met with total disinterest. such a shame as is a beautiful setting. food was pretty good but not amazing.

good service, good food. first time there will not be the last. we had their signature burger. it was huge. very tasty angus beef patie and the homemade tomato sauce. good service and lovely environment.

fantastic staff with a great atmosphere. food was very tasty with a good selection on the menu. did not disappoint.

still sitting here in a hypnotic state after eating the inglewood burger. after my taste buds were done convulsing and my brain was done enjoying the opium like reaction to the amazing flavours, i sculled down my crystal beer and achieved pure satisfaction.

damn, i just noticed although this place is in the middle of nowhere it is busy! it's either the outstanding food or the scenic views.

the inglewood burger was second to none in size and flavour. not to mention the delicious chips that accompany it with a rustic tomato relish dipping sauce.

even tho this place is busy, service and time for food to come out does not falter.

surrounded by my loved ones, theirs and my delicious meals, nice atmosphere and great scenic views - inglewood inn has been a fantastic lunch out for my father's birthday.

this place rocked. i don't know what these people are saying. this place is awesome. we had a table if seven, service was no dramas. medium surf and turf, no dramas. and who doesn't like mars bar cheesecake. don't know if it's new staff but it was a great experance twice in the last two months.

oh dear!. lovely renovated old pub... sadly that is the only positive about our dining experience.
as a lot of reviews state, the service is very slow. of our party of 5 we had one happy diner, 4 of us went home hungry, 2 meals were sent back due to being undercooked and 2 steaks were cooked well but of poor quality. the drinks waitress forgot our drinks, no big deal that can happen but overall it added up to a very disappointing experience.

poor. we were more than disappointed about the non existence of a vegetarian meals. salads are not meals. chicken or fish are not vegetarian ingredients. shame that this place is behind the times.

dissapointment. two weekends ago on a saturday, we booked in for lunch for the first time., boiling hot in the new renovated part. food was so so, do not have the chicken snitzel, (gravy very lumpy ) and overpriced for a pub meal. we thought we would have gorgeous views, just overgrown with weedy hills. wont be visiting again in a hurry.

after reading previous reviews i'm astounded. i have eaten here previously before the new renovations. it was really below standard food overcooked to the point of being burnt. tonight took my parents thinking that it may have improved but i was disappointed. the service was good but food again was below standard. when i complained about the 1" thick crumble the staff just walked away. you pay top prices for pretty standard pub food. decor was nice. anyway twice bitten and never again. they really need a new cook
