nice place.goodatmosphere. but not impressed with the $45 "prime" filet. had a nice seasoning and crust, but came out not truly medium rare. closer to medium. tasted like any filet i might buy at the store, average, not like the "prime" they may say. mashed potato was meh. seasonal side of sautéed kale was agoodtry but not very exciting. disappointing really.

bad service. went to hillstone on camelback the hostess a blond young lady was extremely rude.
are dinner service was even worst dinner wasgoodbut notgoodenough for me to return
this was are first vist.

one of our favorites...goodfood,goodservice,goodvalue,goodambiance. sorry they don't take reservation's since they moved into their new building.

good experience/weird outfits. i had a reallygoodexperience except a couple things. i realllllly enjoyed the food. i had to wait about an hour to eat but it was definitely worth it. the only thing i did not enjoy was the fact that my server had food stains all over his shirt. it was gross because the shirts are pure white and so you could see every little stain that was on it. it kind of grossed me out and i wanted to tell a manager that it would look better if they wore all black but i did not have a chance to find one.
besides that i would definitely recommend it!

i'll see you next week.... this place is a win!! im not a heavy eater, but when i eat, i eatgood& have a very particular palette for food!
the couscous is really the best ive ever had...great combination of flavor and texture, oh my!! who knew i'd rave over couscous...?
and the artichokes, an absolute delight!! these chokes were fresh, tender & meaty... yumm!

can't go past the salmon appetizer. i've resisted reviewing houston's for maybe 2 years now. i absolutely cannot get past the smoked salmon appetizer!!
i found that if i don't share it among the table, there is just enough for me to be fully satisfied as a main meal.. yes a little odd, but it is absolutely toogoodto share. having lived in the nw for a number of years, i thought i had the best smoked salmon, until i got here. in fact one night we ordered an appetizer to share, and i got another as my main... it is simply that good.

as for the rest of the food - i can't really say; i have never been able to get past the smoked salmon.
i'm told the salads aregoodas well as the steaks (maybe one day)

corporate chain steakhouse. i waivered on my vote for this one likes it or doesnt like it but after considering what it was and then lowering my expectations i was able to click the likes it button with absolute conviction. i like this place for a few drinks and small things on the menu but from there the cost to flavor ratio begins to widen considerably. i believe there are manygoodmeals to experience here but nothing i have found to be noteworthy. everything here is average except the price.

overpriced. the food is alwaysgoodat houstons. however, the prices are crazy expensive. the food isn't anything better than any other chain check restaurant so i can't see the justifiication for their high prices. i do not like how dark it always is inside too. even when i've gone for lunch, it is so dark inside that you feel like it's nighttime. not my favorite place to go. i'd never pick it if i had a choice.
