some of the best kimbap and korean food i have had. i was not a big fan of sushi but after trying the korean sushi at hae kum gang, i am obsessed! even the accompaniments were delicious, especially the kimchi. quantity is very good and taste is excellent, highly recommend!

a gem really for people who want to experience authentic korean delicacies. would love to have stronger wasabi, other than that the food and portions are great.

the food was terrible. we went there with great expectations to have some authentic asian food but instead it wasn't upto the mark, no where around that too. considering the price of food its way too expensive and the food tastes awful too. a total waste of money. they can do better.

the food was really tasty and authentic. portion size is quite large so order sparingly. i'd highly recommend the dragon shrimp roll. wasabi could have been stronger in terms of aroma and flavour but that's probably the only nitpick with the food. the restaurant itself is kind of no frills but don't be fooled by the appearance; the food more than makes up for it.

it was the most terrible experience. this is not a place for people with kids or people who value their time and like the place to be atleast clean. it used to be good and now is super run down. it is dirty and the food quality has gone down remarkably.

absolutely loved the food. the taste is authentic korean which i was longing for, for quite some time now. portion size was good too. we had one serving of tuna kimbab, chicken bibimbap and pork galbi each. food was too much for the 2 of us to eat so be mindful of the quantity when ordering. tuna kimbab was my favourite when i was in korea and this tasted exactly the same. pork galbi was good too. i felt the rice was a bit different than what we get in korea hence the bibimbap was not the same that i was used to.
ambience is quite okay but when the food is so good you don't mind it too much. definitely going back again and highly recommended.

this place gave me food poisoning which caused me to be sick for most of a week, missing work, and barely able to even move about my home. they seem to have a good handling problem.

the food here is just so good! throughout the pandemic we've been taking away food from here and they never disappoint. the spinach side dish is the best. and not too expensive compared to the quality and quantity.

i love to enjoy different cuisines and planned to visit this place going by the ratings but it was disappointing. i have tasted japanese, korean etc. i have little sense of how korean good taste. this place is just another name. if you dine here you will spend but not enjoy the food. so if ur looking for tasty korean food this is not the place.

we are regular customer for hae kum gang so we know how the food and service was and how it is now
firstly the service is to too slow.. we need to ask for every accompaniment and keep giving them a reminder.
secondly the food is not as it is.. the flavor and taste has changed
we aren't trying to point out but when we travel far just to have a good meal and be disappointed. sorry not accepted.

terrible service. we ordered three dishes for the three of us, two ramens and one set meal. the food was served in three parts....each with a gap of 35-40 minutes. when i asked for the supervisor, i was told that the supervisor was not around. on asking for his phone number i was told that they did not have it. the staff was least bothered and each one did not seem to know what was going on. in summary - pathethic service.
we will certainly not be returning 🙁

the kimbap we tried was amazing. the chicken ramyun was pretty good. the chicken chulpan was not good at all. ambiance is dull and the place is pricey.

well priced great food; my usual go to place when a craving for sushi and dunzo to the rescue ... usually come with great sides too
