love the pan asian food over here. price, quality and quantity all justified.
service also fast and people are good. tunasushiand pork set dish are mindblowing. they serve only wine based cocktails but it's worth it!!

this cosy place is a real gem! i had been meaning to have korean food for ages and finally found a nice place that makes good korean food at a reasonable price... and greatsushias well... such a rare find! the chicken bibimbap and dragon prawnsushiwere yummy and the portion size was really good as well. the presentation was also a treat to the eyes :) the service however could be improved but the delicious food makes up for it!

was on a trip to bangalore - decided to come here because of exceptionally high rating of 4.4 but the place did not stack up. service was good - waiters were helpful in selecting dishes. menu was small and not confusing. small servings of kimchi and tofu (particularly) are very good. for the main course, i ordered a noodles dish (seafood originally, but i asked them to make it with only shrimp and chicken), and a crispy salmon roll. unfortunately, both these did not turn out to be what deserves even a 4 rating. noodles were good but chicken pieces/strips in it were hard - probably low quality or reused from the previous day (cannot ascertain but that's how it tasted).sushiroll was alright. one has got to tastesushiin manhattan before one starts raving about this sushi. unfortunately, for me, thissushigot compared to what i had the previous night at itc gardenia's japanese restaurant. sorry did not stack up enough for me. photos attached.

hae kum gang was the first place that i triedsushiin bangalore and after trying the edos and the teppans and the shiros of this city, hkg still remains my favourite. the sushis here are immaculately prepared and plated, the ingredients are always fresh and taste just as they should. i have been to hkg so many times now that i have lost count of the kind of sushis that i have had there, but i have had all the varieties that they offer. the best thing to do is to order the platter, sample all the best kinds and then order an individual plate or two of the kinds that you love the most. they have platters for both non-vegetarian and vegetarian options and each platter consists of 20 pieces- enough to fill up two people because hkg is quite generous with theirsushisizes. apart from the sushis, i have also sampled their seafood sizzler, bibimbap, beef croquettes(sagogi wanja) and a couple of other things. their bibimbap was okay, seafood sizzler was passable and sagogi wanja was just alright. you should really go and order some sushis there if you want to have the best that hkg has to offer. also, since its predominantly a korean place, i would love to see some korean stonegrill style cooking, preferably on my table (because why not !!).

hkg is a lovely place with great service and courteous and extremely soft spoken staff members. also, don't miss out on the condiments that they give out before the food- specially the sesame sauce soaked baby potatoes and the wilted greens(spinach, im guessing).

this place deserves a 5 rating for the amazing food they serve, but i would rate 4.5 because of the choice of wine is limited here .. we ordered for kanpunggi chicken and insushiordered for a salmon roll , of all the restaurants were i have tried sushi, i would saysushihere is the best. would surely go back again to try other sushis on the menu.

my first experience eating korean food and i must say i really enjoyed it. had been with friends and we ordered the classics, kimchi fried rice and bibimbap. even their vegetariansushitastes really good.
both come with an assortment of small side dishes. the kimchi fried rice is served on a hot plate and the bibimbap in a hot bowl. both are yummy. though i would have liked the fried rice with a little less oil. unfortunately they had run out of soju that day. will definitely love to visit them again

this was my first time to a korean restaurant. to be honest the ambience is ok types and nothing fancy or well maintained. the food is colorful though and as asushilover i simply loved the dragon shrimp roll and mountain crab roll and the kimchi was fresh too.
it was tasty though.. but i m very unsure on the hygiene part as the place does not look that great. it is slightly expensive. the portion size was good. the service was slow on a weekday and the place was empty.

definitely a hidden oriental delight. mandu (korean steamed momos) were awesome. thesushirolls are a must try. the service could be better, they were a bit slow and had to repeat our things several times. the salads that they put up at start are dipped in too much vinegar. if vinegar is your thing, then you will definitely love them.
overall, a great place to try for food.

just off brigade road onto castle street, next to plan b, this place has a board outside that's easy to miss. the old elevator and the entrance may scare you a little, but don't let it. it's a quaint cozy place with that old bangalore feeling and some delightful food. if you're into asian food, this place won't let you down, from the kimchi, to thesushirolls, to the rice, everything is on point.

the best and i mean the best place for variety ofsushiand kimbap and jap rolls.. of course they have their own take on these traditional dishes with chicken variants for those who don't like the fish ones, but they are so yum.. if you're not afraid to stray from the traditional japanese variety, this is the best place to go.. staff are super polite and you get a good selection of accompaniments before the actual dishes arrive..all free of cost.. quantities are more than enough and the quality of food is top notch.. we go here once every month.. the place also reminds me of my grand-aunts living room with its traditional decor and dining arrangements..love it!!
