we took our friends out for their 45th anniversary and had a wonderful time at firebirds. stephanie was our waitress. she was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. she was always right there if we needed something but not intrusive. we had the blt salad which tasted just like a well made blt sandwich. there were 3 steaks ordered and a rack of ribs. each of our steaks were cooked to perfection and the ribs fell off the bone. our sides were asparagus, garlic spinach and grilled vegetables each seasoned and cooked with care. our drinks came very quickly. the bar is a well stocked with everything you could want. we had coffee after dinner and it tasted as good as it smelled. the staff kept moving all of the time and we felt like we were treated royally. we will defiantly go back.

my husband and i love this place. their steaks and coconut shrimp are amazing. we went several times while we lived in the area and speak of it with fondness quite often. the service is amazing as well.

we had seared tuna ab awesome dish. fish tacos were great. my friends had burgers and steak which were fabulous too. we need to visit it again soon to have other goodies.

great environment, great food everytime i go, never had anything bad, excellent service, great prices, and clean. i've never had a bad experience at firebirds wood. great go to place

i have to admit that this is a burger joint that i go to get their veggie burgers instead of their burgers. i first had the greek burger (lamb), later the crab burger, and lastly the veggie burger. both the greek burger and crab burgers were good, but i was really taken back by how great the veggie burger was. ever since then, i have only ordered the veggie burger. it's probably the best in its class as i've never had a better veggie burger anywhere else. and it's a bargain for just $8. finally their fries are great, especially their sweet potato fries that come with a side of marshmallow dipping sauce.

such a nice restaurant. the bread they serve is really good. i had the pineapple chicken, absolutely delicious and light. plenty of parking space around the restaurant.

restaurant under some major management changes that have made significant improvements in the quality and consistency of their product. i love firebirds, i have eaten at multiple locations in multiple areas and this one used to be my least favorite. revisiting made me very pleased. my favorite dish is the wood grilled salmon or the prime rib. the spinach salad is also heavenly and the chocolate cake is sinful. i highly recommend giving this place a chance if you had a bad experience a few months ago or if you've never had a chance to drink a double black diamond martini alongside your delicious meal.

what a unique experience. this restaurant might be small but it packs a punch. my first time experiencing a dim sum kind of restaurant. you can order off the menu or you can just select dishes that are presented to your table, it is like the sushi boat. so neat to see the food before selecting it. the service was excellent, very knowledgeable and attentive. the food was delicious. the ones that stood out was the nectarines with cheese and basil oil- this simple fish had complex flavors that wowed the plat and was hands down my favorite. the heirloom toast, duck moose, chard octopus, and salmon tartar are all must haves. can't wait to come back and try new things!

firebird's is fine. good even.  food is good, service is good, atmosphere is good.  we visited because we've never been and it is less than 10 minutes from our house.  there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. but for me, there is not much difference between this place and an outback.  which is not a knock - i like outback just fine! but at outback we can get out of there with a similar dinner for a much lower price.  i am more than happy to splurge on a nice dinner, but for the price of our ticket we could have easily gone to one of the better, local restaurants and had something really spectacular instead of the good, but typical, food we had at firebirds.

this is a review of a restaurant located in winston salem, north carolina called firebirds wood fired grill. they are located not far from the costco off hanes mill boulevard. we visited on a late friday afternoon before the dinner rush. they are open from 11 am until 10 pm everyday but friday and saturday when they stay open an hour later. their sanitation grade is currently 95%. read the rest of my review on my blog, link below.

last we had a dinner here for our anniversary. my wife ordered strawberry salad for 15.75. it has only two pieces of strawberry and 5 small grilled shrimps. the salad was over dressed. it was not delicious at all!! it does not worth that price! she was not happy

i personally love firebirds.  the group i was working with and i went there at lunch time.  the atmosphere is gorgeous, we had excellent service, and our food was incredible.  we were in our messy work clothes hot, tired, and looking a fright, but they were still very courteous.  i ordered the southwest burger and it was definitely not like any other burger i've ever had.  i can't wait to go back and try the salmon or a steak.

i loved the filet with bleu cheese, but my husband just thought that the prime rib was ok...my filet is actually the second best i've had...because he didn't care for his, i didn't rate it a "5." we will try it again to see if he likes something else better, but i will probably have the same, tender, delicious filet!

colorado chicken salad is fantastic. tender woodfire chicken, blue cheese crumbles, sweet apples with a raspberry vinaigrette. highly recommend!
