great bar and patio.excellenthappy hour app specials as well. wings are smoked and bursting with flavor. not too hot a robust medium. steak was cooked just right and service was great. good for a date or out with friends

tenderloin salad. the dining area is rather noisy so i usually eat at the tables in the bar area. the tenderloin salad is fantastic but ask for a light amount of dressing as at times i have got it with way too much dressing on it. i also add red oinions. always haveexcellentservice. highly recommended! we usually walk over to frost for some yummy gelato for dessert!

dined here last night. the food wasexcellentand the service was also extremely good (our server was alexandra). the manager (alisa) went above and beyond to make our evening extra memorable and the head chef (ken) also took time to talk to our sons and make them feel special. i strongly recommend firebirds. their food is amazing, it is kid-friendly with one of the best kids menus in town. it is great for a date night and also a night out with the family.

i personally love firebirds.  the group i was working with and i went there at lunch time.  the atmosphere is gorgeous, we hadexcellentservice, and our food was incredible.  we were in our messy work clothes hot, tired, and looking a fright, but they were still very courteous.  i ordered the southwest burger and it was definitely not like any other burger i've ever had.  i can't wait to go back and try the salmon or a steak.

firebirds offersexcellentservice. our waiter was amazing. the rib eye was perfect, ranch rings and carrot cake were wonderful:) we also enjoyed the prime rib, a gratin potatoes, yukon gold mashed potatoes, and of corse the loaded baked potato was cooked perfectly.

my husband and i were in durham this past weekend for the american idol live tour. we had dinner at firebird's on saturday evening. we both agree that the food and the service were exceptional!! "q" was anexcellentserver/waiter! he tookexcellentcare of us without "smothering" or "bothering" us. if we ever get to durham again, we will definitely  be eating there. hopefully "q" will still be there. also, kudos to the chef (s)!! at home, everywhere i order a filet, i have to send it back because it's never cooked right. happy to say, it came out perfect the first time.

awesome. great atmosphere for a family dinner for a date night or for drinks with the girls the staff is awesome the executive chef eric is wonderful the bar is wonderful they have amazing dreams i go there probably at least three times a month i've never had bad service and i have never had a bad meal and the kids meals are real meal with a real serving size. there is a new happy hour call the bar bites it isexcellentthe food on the happy hour menu isexcellenti love going to firebirds anytime if you're looking for a great steak try the chili rubbed dell monaco or a great drink the desert pair of margarita! all the servers are great but ask for dylan from fort lauderdale

go to place for steak and for a date night!. i will pass over shula's anyday for firebirds.excellentsteaks and incredible service. everything we have ever had on the menu has been fantastic. don't turn your nose up due to it being a chain (and a very small chain at that) and just enjoy some very high quality and well prepared food.

excellent food and service. we have chosen firebirds several times for lunch and dinner. alwaysexcellentservice and trying different items from the menu, we have never been disappointed. last night we went between
4-6:00 and for $14.95 i had a beautiful steak, loaded baked potato and a hand tossed salad. fantastic atmosphere and did i say the service is the best? it's like going to an expensive restaurant with reasonable prices. oh, try the burgers! they are perfect.

great for birthdays. a little late writing this review but we ate dinner for a friends birthday a couple of months ago - i had never been to firebirds. i admit i avoid the galleria and surrounding areas, im more of a southside/downtown girl. the restaurant was full and had a really good vibe to it. we were seated at a round table in the middle of the restaurant. we had cocktails to start - drink service was a little slow, then we moved to switch to wine - i brought in a bottle of silver oak as a birthday happy and was told i could not bring it in. after persistently asking our server to please check with the manager to make sure they didnt/did have a corkage fee/policy she finally did, and yes they do allow it! however she refused to decant it and wouldnt pour it until i had finished my bourbon. if i remember correctly i poured the wine for the table. this is my only complaint and is 100% a training issue. the rest of the dinner was fantastic - we all had something different - salmon, filet, strip, surf and turf, and i had the prime rib. everything was cooked perfectly including the delicious sides. we had birthday cake for dessert and shared with the staff - some even came to the table to say thank you, they gave our birthday guest a signed birthday card which was a nice touch - very impressive. overall it was anexcellentdinner.

we had dinner there last night! great gluten free menu! manager stopped by the table to inform us that our gluten free meals were gf and the kitchen staff had changed gloves before handling any of our food! very reassuring as i can not tolerate even the slightest cross contamination! my steak was perfectly cooked and my baked potato was delicious! blt salad wasexcellentas well! it is expensive but with every penny!!!

dined with a group of 5. solid service, attentive without being annoying. iced tea never went empty. the lobster quest and ranch rings are great apps. everyone enjoyed their meals. durango burger wasexcellentand massive. i recommended the brussell sprouts while they are still available;excellentalternative veggie choice. lots of natural light in this place which is a nice change from some of their neighboring establishments who want you to eat in the dark. worth a return visit or two.

my family and i have eaten at firebirds on several occasions and we are very happy they are here. the service isexcellentand the food is even better. we have been so impressed that our friends and family received gift cards for christmas. the prime rib isexcellentand the southwest au gratin potatoes could be a meal on their own. we had previously dined at firebirds in charlotte, nc and we are very happy they have opened in overland park.

ranch rings, blt salad and baby back ribs. that's all you need to know.

i hear the baked potatoes are great but that's not my thing. i've had a steak here and it wasexcellentas well. great atmosphere too.
